devils through
Beelzebub the chief of the
devils.

If
Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out
devils through
Beelzebub.
If
Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? After all, you say that I drive out demons by Beelzebul.
And if I by
Beelzebub cast out
devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.

Ye are of your father the
devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a
liar, and the father of it.
You belong to your father, the
devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to
uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a
liar and the father of lies.
Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a

demon,” Jesus replied, “but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.

anyone who keeps Your word will never taste death.
And many of them said, He hath a
devil, and is
mad; why hear ye him?
Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
But others replied, “These are not the words of a man possessed by a
demon. Can a
demon open the eyes of the blind?”
The evening meal was underway, and the
devil had already put into the heart of
Judas, the son of Simon
Iscariot, to
betray Jesus.
How God
anointed Jesus of
Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and
healing all that were
oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him.
how God
anointed Jesus of
Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how Jesus went around doing good and
healing all who were
oppressed by the
devil, because God was with Him.
And said, O full of all
subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the
devil, thou enemy of all righteousness,
wilt thou not cease to
pervert the right ways of the Lord?
and said, “O child of the
devil and enemy of all righteousness, you are full of all kinds of
deceit and
trickery! Will you never stop
perverting the straight ways of the Lord?
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to
devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have
fellowship with
devils.
No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God. And I do not want you to be participants with demons.
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot
partake in the table of the Lord and the table of demons too.
Neither give place to the devil.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Put on the full
armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the
devil’s schemes.
He must not be a recent convert, or he may become
conceited and fall under the same
condemnation as the
devil.
Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the
snare of the
devil.
Furthermore, he must have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the
snare of the
devil.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving
heed to
seducing spirits, and doctrines of
devils;
Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will
abandon the faith to follow
deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,
And that they may recover themselves out of the
snare of the
devil, who are taken
captive by him at his will.
Then they will come to their senses and escape the
snare of the
devil, who has taken them
captive to his will.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the
devil;
Now since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity, so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is, the devil,
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the
devils also believe, and
tremble.
You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and
shudder.
Such wisdom does not come from above, but is earthly, unspiritual,
demonic.
Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the
devil, and he will
flee from you.
Submit
yourselves, then, to God. Resist the
devil, and he will
flee from you.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
The one who practices sin is of the
devil, because the
devil has been
sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the
devil.
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the
devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the
devil:
Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is
anyone who does not love his brother.
But even the
archangel Michael, when he disputed with the
devil over the body of Moses, did not
presume to bring a
slanderous charge against him, but said, “The Lord
rebuke you!”
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the
devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have
tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look, the
devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer
tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
