thanksgiving as one section alternated with the other, as prescribed by David the man of God.

beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great
ransom cannot deliver thee.

bribe lead you
astray.

holyday.
These things come to mind as I pour out my soul: how I walked with the multitude,
leading the
procession to the house of God with shouts of joy and praise.

lead me into
Edom?

lead me to
Edom?

overwhelmed:
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

faint.

O let the nations be
glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and
govern the nations upon earth.
Selah.
Let the nations be
glad and sing for joy, for You judge the peoples justly and
lead the nations of the earth.
Selah God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the
rebellious dwell in a dry land.
God settles the
lonely in families; He
leads the prisoners out to prosperity, but the
rebellious dwell in a sun-
scorched land.

timbrels.
The singers lead the way, the musicians follow after, among the maidens playing tambourines.
Give ear, O
Shepherd of Israel, thou that
leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims,
shine forth.
Hear us, O
Shepherd of Israel, who
leads Joseph like a flock; You who sit enthroned between the
cherubim,
shine forth
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will
lead me into
Edom?
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will
lead me to
Edom?
He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
He will judge the nations,
heaping up the dead; He will
crush the
leaders far and wide.
As for such as turn aside unto their
crooked ways, the LORD shall
lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

crooked ways the LORD will
banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.

everlasting.

lead me in the way
everlasting.

Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on
hell.
Her feet go down to death; her steps
lead straight to
Sheol.
When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
When you walk, they will guide you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; when you
awake, they will speak to you.
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice,
The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
The labor of the righteous leads to life, but the gain of the wicked brings punishment.
As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
Genuine righteousness leads to life, but the pursuit of evil brings death.
The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
The desire of the righteous leads only to good, but the hope of the wicked brings wrath.
The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are
deceit.
The plans of the righteous are just, but the counsel of the wicked
leads to
deceit.
The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.
A righteous man is
cautious in friendship, but the ways of the wicked
lead them
astray.
In the way of righteousness is life; and in the
pathway thereof there is no death.
There is life in the path of righteousness, but another path leads to death.
In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to
penury.
There is profit in all labor, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from
hell beneath.
The path of life
leads upward for the wise, that he may avoid going down to
Sheol.
The
highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
The
highway of the upright
leads away from evil; he who guards his way protects his life.
A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
A violent man entices his
neighbor and
leads him down a path that is not good.
The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall
abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
The fear of the LORD
leads to life, that one may rest content, without
visitation from
harm.
He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want.
A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a
sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
A destitute leader who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no food.
Whoso causeth the righteous to go
astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
He who
leads the upright along the path of evil will fall into his own pit, but the
blameless will
inherit what is good.
I would
lead thee, and bring thee into my mother’s house, who would
instruct me: I would cause thee to drink of
spiced wine of the juice of my
pomegranate.
I would
lead you and bring you to the house of my mother who taught me. I would give you
spiced wine to drink, the
nectar of my pomegranates.
And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
“I will make mere lads their leaders, and children will rule over them.”
When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
A man will seize his brother within his father’s house: “You have a
cloak—you be our
leader! Take charge of this
heap of
rubble.”
In that day shall he
swear, saying, I will not be an
healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
On that day he will cry
aloud: “I am not a
healer. I have no food or clothing in my house. Do not make me
leader of the people!”
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which
lead thee cause thee to
err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
Youths
oppress My people, and women rule over them. O My people, your guides mislead you; they turn you from your paths.
The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the
vineyard; the
spoil of the poor is in your houses.
The LORD brings this charge against the elders and
leaders of His people: “You have
devoured the
vineyard; the
plunder of the poor is in your houses.
For the
leaders of this people cause them to
err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
For those who guide this people mislead them, and those they mislead are
swallowed up.
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the
leopard shall lie down with the
kid; and the
calf and the young lion and the
fatling together; and a little child shall
lead them.
The wolf will live with the lamb, and the
leopard will lie down with the goat; the
calf and young lion and
fatling will be together, and a little child will
lead them.
So shall the king of Assyria
lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians
captives, young and old, naked and
barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
so the king of Assyria will
lead away the
captives of Egypt and the exiles of
Cush, young and old alike, naked and
barefoot, with bared buttocks—to Egypt’s shame.
And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to
sift the nations with the
sieve of vanity: and there shall be a
bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to
err.
His breath is like a
rushing torrent that rises to the neck. He comes to
sift the nations in a
sieve of destruction; He bridles the jaws of the peoples to
lead them
astray.
And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the
scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with
sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
And he sent Eliakim the palace
administrator, Shebna the
scribe, and the
leading priests, all wearing
sackcloth, to the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz
He shall feed his flock like a
shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his
bosom, and shall gently
lead those that are with young.
He tends His flock like a
shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently
leads the
nursing ewes.
Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
Lift up your eyes on high: Who created all these? He
leads forth the
starry host by number; He calls each one by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will
lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and
crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not
forsake them.
I will
lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on unfamiliar paths. I will turn darkness into light before them and rough places into level ground. These things I will do for them, and I will not
forsake them.
Thus saith the LORD, thy
Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which
leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Thus says the LORD your
Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who directs you in the way you should go.
They shall not hunger nor
thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun
smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall
lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
They will not hunger or
thirst, nor will
scorching heat or sun beat down on them. For He who has
compassion on them will guide them and
lead them beside springs of water.
Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
Behold, I have made him a witness to the nations, a leader and commander of the peoples.
I have seen his ways, and will
heal him: I will
lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
I have seen his ways, but I will
heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him and his mourners,
Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of
Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath
glorified thee.
Surely the islands will wait for Me, with the ships of
Tarshish in the
lead, to bring your children from
afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for He has
glorified you.
That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an
everlasting name?
who sent His glorious arm to
lead them by the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them to gain for Himself
everlasting renown,
As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so
didst thou
lead thy people, to make
thyself a glorious name.
Like cattle going down to the valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest. You led Your people this way to make for
Yourself a glorious name.
The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also
transgressed against me, and the prophets
prophesied by
Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
The priests did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD?’ The experts in the law no longer knew Me, and the
leaders rebelled against Me. The prophets
prophesied by
Baal and followed useless idols.
The
bellows are burned, the
lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not
plucked away.
The
bellows blow fiercely, blasting away the
lead with fire. The refining proceeds in vain, for the wicked are not
purged.
Thus saith the LORD, Go and get a
potter’s
earthen bottle, and take of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the priests;
This is what the LORD says: “Go and
buy a clay
jar from a
potter. Take some of the elders of the people and
leaders of the priests,
Behold, I am against them that
prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to
err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
“Indeed,” declares the LORD, “I am against those who
prophesy false dreams and retell them to
lead My people
astray with their
reckless lies. It was not I who sent them or commanded them, and they are of no benefit at all to these people,” declares the LORD.
Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;
Pharaoh king of Egypt, his officials, his leaders, and all his people;
Howl, ye
shepherds, and cry; and
wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
Wail, you
shepherds, and cry out; roll in the dust, you
leaders of the flock. For the days of your slaughter have come; you will fall and be
shattered like fine pottery.
And the
shepherds shall have no way to
flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.
A voice of the cry of the
shepherds, and an
howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD hath
spoiled their pasture.
Hear the cry of the
shepherds, the
wailing of the
leaders of the flock, for the LORD is destroying their pasture.
And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
Their
leader will be one of their own, and their ruler will arise from their midst. And I will bring him near, and he will approach Me, for who would
dare on his own to approach Me?” declares the LORD.
They shall come with
weeping, and with supplications will I
lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not
stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my
firstborn.
They will come with
weeping, and by their
supplication I will
lead them; I will make them walk beside streams of waters, on a level path where they will not
stumble. For I am Israel’s Father, and Ephraim is My
firstborn.”
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they
brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt— a covenant they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD.
And he shall
lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the LORD: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not
prosper?
He will take
Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will stay until I attend to him, declares the LORD. If you fight against the Chaldeans, you will not succeed.’”
Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.
Flee from the midst of Babylon; depart from the land of the Chaldeans; be like the he-goats that
lead the flock.
Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, the princes of the people.
Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the LORD that faces east. And there at the entrance of the gate were twenty-five men. Among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, who were leaders of the people.
And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:
He took a member of the royal family and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. Then he carried away the leading men of the land,
Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become
dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and
lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the
dross of silver.
“Son of man, the house of Israel has become
dross to Me. All of them are copper, tin, iron, and
lead inside the furnace; they are but the
dross of silver.
As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and
lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to
melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my
fury, and I will leave you there, and
melt you.
Just as one gathers silver, copper, iron,
lead, and tin into the furnace to
melt with a
fiery blast, so I will gather you in My anger and wrath, leave you there, and
melt you.
Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and
lead, they traded in thy fairs.
Tarshish was your merchant because of your great wealth of goods; they exchanged silver, iron, tin, and
lead for your wares.
There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are
ashamed of their might; and they lie
uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
All the
leaders of the north and all the Sidonians are there; they went down in disgrace with the slain,
despite the terror of their might. They lie
uncircumcised with those slain by the sword and bear their shame with those who descend to the Pit.
Neither have we
hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
We have not
listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings,
leaders, and fathers, and to all the people of the land.
