sacrifice to the LORD.

slew all the
firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the

firstborn of beast: therefore I
sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the
matrix, being males; but all the
firstborn of my children I
redeem.
And when Pharaoh
stubbornly refused to let us go, the LORD killed every

sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will

heave offering the Israelites will make to the LORD from their peace offerings.

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a
molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have
sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

If his offering be a burnt
sacrifice of the
herd, let him offer a male without
blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
If one’s offering is a burnt offering from the
herd, he is to present an
unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before the LORD.
But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The
entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall burn all of it on the altar as a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt
sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without
blemish.
If, however, one’s offering is a burnt offering from the flock—from the sheep or goats—he is to present an
unblemished male.
But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The
entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall bring all of it and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
If, instead, one’s offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present a
turtledove or a young
pigeon.
And he shall
cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it
asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt
sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
He shall
tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to burn it on the altar
atop the burning wood. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And if his
oblation be a
sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the
herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without
blemish before the LORD.
“If one’s offering is a peace offering and he offers an animal from the
herd, whether male or female, he must present it without
blemish before the LORD.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
From the peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar
atop the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And if his offering for a
sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without
blemish.
If, however, one’s peace offering to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without
blemish.
And he shall offer of the
sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole
rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from the peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the
backbone, the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
As it was taken off from the
bullock of the
sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
just as the fat is removed from the ox of the peace offering. Then the priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering.
And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the
sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be
forgiven him.
He must burn all its fat on the altar, like the fat of the peace offerings; thus the priest will make
atonement for that man’s sin, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the
sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him, and it shall be
forgiven him.
Then he is to remove all the fat, just as it is removed from the peace offering, and the priest is to burn it on the altar as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the
sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an
atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be
forgiven him.
And he shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the peace offerings, and he shall burn it on the altar along with the offerings made by fire to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be
forgiven.
And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
Now this is the law of the peace offering that one may present to the LORD:
Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering
leavened bread with the
sacrifice of
thanksgiving of his peace offerings.
Along with his peace offering of
thanksgiving he is to present an offering with cakes of
leavened bread.
And the flesh of the
sacrifice of his peace offerings for
thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
The meat of the
sacrifice of his peace offering of
thanksgiving must be eaten on the day he offers it; none of it may be left until morning.
But if the
sacrifice of his offering be a
vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his
sacrifice: and on the
morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:
If, however, the
sacrifice he offers is a
vow or a
freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he presents his
sacrifice, but the remainder may be eaten on the next day.
But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.
But any meat of the sacrifice remaining until the third day must be burned up.
And if any of the flesh of the
sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an
abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
If any of the meat from his peace offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted. It will not be credited to the one who presented it; it shall be an
abomination, and the one who eats of it shall bear his iniquity.
But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the
sacrifice of peace offerings, that
pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
But if
anyone who is unclean eats meat from the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.
Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any
abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the
sacrifice of peace offerings, which
pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
If one touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any unclean,
detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.”
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the
sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his
oblation unto the LORD of the
sacrifice of his peace offerings.
“Speak to the Israelites and say, ‘
Anyone who presents a peace offering to the LORD must bring it as his
sacrifice to the LORD.
And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an
heave offering of the
sacrifices of your peace offerings.
And you are to give the right
thigh to the priest as a contribution from your peace offering.
For the wave breast and the
heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the
sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
I have taken from the sons of Israel the breast of the wave offering and the
thigh of the contribution of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as a permanent portion from the sons of Israel.’”
This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the
trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the
sacrifice of the peace offerings;
This is the law of the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the
ordination offering, and the peace offering,
And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
He washed the
entrails and legs with water and burned the entire ram on the altar as a burnt offering, a pleasing
aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Also a
bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to
sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.
an ox and a ram for a peace offering to
sacrifice before the LORD, and a grain offering mixed with oil. For
today the LORD will appear to you.’”
And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an
atonement for
thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an
atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.
Then Moses said to Aaron, “Approach the altar and
sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering to make
atonement for
yourself and for the people. And
sacrifice the people’s offering to make
atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded.”
And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.
Next he presented the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar in addition to the morning’s burnt offering.
He
slew also the
bullock and the ram for a
sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he
sprinkled upon the altar round about,
Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram as the people’s peace offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he
sprinkled it on all sides of the altar.
And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons’ due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.
You shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your share and your sons’ share of the offerings made by fire to the LORD; for this is what I have been commanded.
And the wave breast and
heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which are given out of the
sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.
And you and your sons and daughters may eat the breast of the wave offering and the
thigh of the contribution in a
ceremonially clean place, because these portions have been assigned to you and your children from the peace offerings of the sons of Israel.
And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an
atonement for him that is to be
cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:
Then the priest is to
sacrifice the sin offering and make
atonement for the one to be
cleansed from his uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering
And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;
Then he must
sacrifice the turtledoves or young pigeons,
whichever he can afford,
And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
The priest is to
sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for the man before the LORD because of his discharge.
And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
The priest is to
sacrifice one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for her before the LORD for her unclean discharge.
And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
he shall present the goat chosen by lot for the LORD and sacrifice it as a sin offering.
And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an
atonement for himself, and for the people.
He is to
bathe himself with water in a holy place and put on his own clothes. Then he must go out and
sacrifice his burnt offering and the people’s burnt offering to make
atonement for himself and for the people.
To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
For this reason the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they have been offering in the open fields. They are to bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and offer them as sacrifices of peace to the LORD.
And they shall no more offer their
sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a
whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
They must no longer offer their
sacrifices to the goat demons to which they have
prostituted themselves. This will be a permanent statute for them for the generations to come.’
And thou shalt say unto them,
Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which
sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering of
sacrifice,
Tell them that if
anyone from the house of Israel or any foreigner living among them offers a burnt offering or a
sacrifice And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
but does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD, that man must be cut off from his people.
And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to
Molech, neither shalt thou
profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
You must not give any of your children to be
sacrificed to
Molech, for you must not
profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.
And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
When you sacrifice a peace offering to the LORD, you shall offer it for your acceptance.
It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the
morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
It shall be eaten on the day you sacrifice it, or on the next day; but what remains on the third day must be burned up.
When a man presents a peace offering to the LORD from the
herd or flock to
fulfill a
vow or as a
freewill offering, it must be without
blemish or defect to be acceptable.
Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is
bruised, or
crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.
You are not to present to the LORD an animal whose testicles are
bruised,
crushed,
torn, or cut; you are not to
sacrifice them in your land.
And when ye will offer a
sacrifice of
thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.
When you
sacrifice a
thank offering to the LORD, offer it so that it may be acceptable on your behalf.
Then ye shall
sacrifice one
kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a
sacrifice of peace offerings.
You shall also prepare one male goat as a sin offering and two male lambs a year old as a peace offering.
These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall
proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a
sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
These are the LORD’s appointed feasts, which you are to
proclaim as sacred
assemblies for presenting offerings by fire to the LORD—burnt offerings and grain offerings,
sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its designated day.
And I will make your cities waste, and bring your
sanctuaries unto
desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
I will reduce your cities to
rubble and lay waste your
sanctuaries, and I will refuse to smell the pleasing
aroma of your
sacrifices.
And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:
But if the
vow involves any of the unclean animals that may not be brought as an offering to the LORD, the animal must be presented before the priest.
And he shall offer the ram for a
sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the
basket of
unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.

basket of
unleavened bread. And the priest is to offer the accompanying grain offering and drink offering.

Nazarite shall
shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the
sacrifice of the peace offerings.

gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the
trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the
sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a
memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
