And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every
herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Now no
shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth, nor had any plant of the field
sprouted; for the LORD God had not yet
sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to
cultivate the ground.
Therefore the LORD God
sent him forth from the garden of
Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.
For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
For seven days from now I will
send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will
wipe from the face of the earth every living thing I have made.”

flee away secretly, and
steal away from me; and
didst not tell me, that I might have
sent thee away with
mirth, and with songs, with

deceive me, without even telling me? I would have
sent you away with joy and singing, with tambourines and harps.
Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst
sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine
affliction and the labour of my hands, and
rebuked thee
yesternight.

sent me away empty-handed. But God has seen my
affliction and the

pledge until you
send it.”

sent the
kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his
pledge from the woman’s hand: but he found her not.
Now when Judah sent his friend Hirah the Adullamite with the young goat to collect the items he had left with the woman, he could not find her.
And Judah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I
sent this
kid, and thou hast not found her.
“Let her keep the items,” Judah replied. “Otherwise we will become a

send her this young goat, but you could not find her.”

But Benjamin, Joseph’s brother, Jacob
sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest
peradventure mischief
befall him.
But Jacob did not
send Joseph’s brother Benjamin with his brothers, for he said, “I am afraid that
harm might
befall him.”
Send one of you, and let him
fetch your brother, and ye shall be kept in prison, that your words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by the life of Pharaoh surely ye are
spies.
Send one of your number to get your brother; the rest of you will be confined so that the truth of your words may be tested. If they are untrue, then as surely as Pharaoh lives, you are
spies!”
If thou
wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and
buy thee food:
If you will
send our brother with us, we will go down and
buy food for you.
But if thou
wilt not
send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may
send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be

bereaved, I am
bereaved.”

cried out, “
Send everyone away from me!” So none of them were with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers.
And now, do not be distressed or
angry with
yourselves that you sold me into this place, because it was to save lives that God
sent me before you.
And God
sent me before you to preserve you a
posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great
deliverance.
God
sent me before you to preserve you as a
remnant on the earth and to save your lives by a great

sent me
hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

sent her
maid to
fetch it.
Soon the daughter of Pharaoh went down to
bathe in the Nile, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. And when she saw the
basket among the reeds, she
sent her
maidservant to
retrieve it.

token unto thee, that I have
sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath
sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my
memorial unto all generations.
God also told Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has
sent me to you.’ This is My name
forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

sent me?

Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.
You are to speak all that I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his land.
And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.
Then say to him, ‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has
sent me to tell you: Let My people go, so that they may worship Me in the wilderness. But you have not
listened until now.
Else, if thou
wilt not let my people go, behold, I will
send swarms of
flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of
flies, and also the ground
whereon they are.
But if you will not let My people go, I will
send swarms of
flies upon you and your officials and your people and your houses. The houses of the Egyptians and even the ground where they stand will be full of
flies.
And Pharaoh
sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was
hardened, and he did not let the people go.
Pharaoh
sent officials and found that none of the
livestock of the Israelites had died. But Pharaoh’s heart was
hardened, and he would not let the people go.
For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.
Otherwise, I will send all My plagues against you and your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.
Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the
hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.
So give orders now to shelter your
livestock and everything you have in the field. Every man or beast that remains in the field and is not brought inside will die when the
hail comes down upon them.’”

hail, and
lightning struck the earth. So the LORD rained down
hail upon the land of Egypt.

I will
send My terror

encounter. I will make all your enemies turn and run.

send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the
Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

calf, which Aaron made.
And the LORD
sent a plague on the people because of what they had done with the
calf that Aaron had made.

send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the
Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou
wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the
scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an
atonement with him, and to let him go for a
scapegoat into the wilderness.

scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to make
atonement by
sending it into the wilderness as the
scapegoat.
And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and
confess over him all the
iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall
send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
Then he is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and
confess over it all the
iniquities and
rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to put them on the goat’s head and
send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a man appointed for the task.

send wild beasts among you, which shall
rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be
desolate.
I will
send wild animals against you to
rob you of your children, destroy your
livestock, and reduce your numbers, until your roads lie
desolate.
