For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.
because of the truth that abides in us and
will be with us
forever:
Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, will be with us in truth and love.
Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:
They have
testified to the church about your love. You
will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God.
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
I have written to the church about this, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not accept our instruction.
Wherefore, if I come, I
will remember his deeds which he doeth,
prating against us with
malicious words: and not content
therewith, neither
doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
So if I come, I
will call attention to his
malicious slander against us. And unsatisfied with that, he refuses to
welcome the brothers and forbids those who want to do so, even putting them out of the church.
I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee:
I have many things to write to you, but I would
prefer not to do so with pen and ink.
I
will therefore put you in
remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Although you are fully aware of this, I want to remind you that after Jesus had delivered His people out of the land of Egypt, He destroyed those who did not believe.
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as
brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
when they said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow after their own ungodly desires.”
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall
wail because of him. Even so,
Amen.
Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye
will see Him—even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth
will mourn because of Him. So shall it be!
Amen.
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be
hereafter;
Therefore write down the things you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that will happen after this.
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and
repent, and do the first works; or else I
will come unto thee quickly, and
will remove thy
candlestick out of his place, except thou
repent.
Therefore, keep in mind how far you have fallen.
Repent and perform the deeds you did at first. But if you do not
repent, I
will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh
will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the
paradise of God.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I
will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the
Paradise of God.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have
tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I
will give thee a crown of life.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you
will suffer
tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I
will give you the crown of life.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be
hurt of the second death.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes
will not be
harmed by the second death.
Repent; or else I
will come unto thee quickly, and
will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Therefore
repent! Otherwise I
will come to you shortly and
wage war against them with the sword of My mouth.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh
will I give to eat of the hidden
manna, and
will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I
will give the hidden
manna. I
will also give him a white stone inscribed with a new name, known only to the one who receives it.
Behold, I
will cast her into a bed, and them that commit
adultery with her into great
tribulation, except they
repent of their deeds.
Behold, I
will cast her
onto a bed of sickness, and those who commit
adultery with her
will suffer great
tribulation unless they
repent of her deeds.
And I
will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the
reins and hearts: and I
will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Then I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
But unto you I say, and unto the rest in
Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of
Satan, as they speak; I
will put upon you none other burden.
But I say to the rest of you in
Thyatira, who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned the so-called deep things of
Satan: I
will place no further burden upon you.
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
And to the one who overcomes and continues in My work until the end, I will give authority over the nations.
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a
potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
He
will rule them with an iron
scepter and
shatter them like pottery—just as I have received authority from My Father.
And I will give him the morning star.
And I will give him the morning star.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and
repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I
will come on thee as a
thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I
will come upon thee.
Remember, then, what you have received and heard. Keep it and
repent. If you do not
wake up, I
will come like a
thief, and you
will not know the hour when I
will come upon you.
Thou hast a few names even in
Sardis which have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
But you do have a few people in
Sardis who have not soiled their garments, and because they are worthy, they
will walk with Me in white.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white
raiment; and I
will not
blot out his name out of the book of life, but I
will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Like them, he who overcomes
will be dressed in white. And I
will never
blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I
will confess his name before My Father and His angels.
Behold, I
will make them of the
synagogue of
Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I
will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Look at those who belong to the
synagogue of
Satan, who claim to be Jews but are liars instead. I
will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they
will know that I love you.
Because thou hast kept the word of my
patience, I also
will keep thee from the hour of
temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Because you have kept My command to
persevere, I
will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
Him that overcometh
will I make a
pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I
will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I
will write upon him my new name.
The one who overcomes I
will make a
pillar in the temple of My God, and he
will never again leave it. Upon him I
will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name.
So then because thou art
lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I
will spue thee out of my mouth.
So because you are
lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to
vomit you out of My mouth!
Behold, I stand at the door, and
knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I
will come in to him, and
will sup with him, and he with me.
Behold, I stand at the door and
knock. If
anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I
will come in and
dine with him, and he with Me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up
hither, and I
will shew thee things which must be
hereafter.
After this I looked and saw a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had previously heard speak to me like a
trumpet was saying, “Come up here, and I
will show you what must happen after these things.”
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things; by Your will they exist and came to be.”
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
For this reason, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.
They shall hunger no more, neither
thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
‘Never again
will they hunger, and never
will they
thirst; nor
will the sun beat down upon them, nor any
scorching heat.’
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall
wipe away all tears from their eyes.
For the Lamb in the center of the throne
will be their
shepherd. ‘He
will lead them to springs of living water,’ and ‘God
will wipe away every
tear from their eyes.’”
And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall
flee from them.
In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, but death will escape them.
And
sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
And he
swore by Him who lives
forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it: “There
will be no more delay!
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the
mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound his
trumpet, the
mystery of God
will be fulfilled, just as He proclaimed to His servants the prophets.”
And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy
belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
And I went to the angel and said, “Give me the small
scroll.” “Take it and eat it,” he said. “It
will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it
will be as sweet as honey.”
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they
tread under foot forty and two months.
But
exclude the
courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they
will trample the holy city for 42 months.
And if any man
will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man
will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
If
anyone wants to
harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way,
anyone who wants to
harm them must be killed.
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to
smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they
will.
These witnesses have power to shut the sky so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophecy, and power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the
Abyss will wage war with them, and
will overpower and kill them.
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called
Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was
crucified.
And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb.
And they that dwell upon the earth shall
rejoice over them, and make
merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets
tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
And those who dwell on the earth
will gloat over them, and
will celebrate and send one another gifts, because these two prophets had
tormented them.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Then the seventh angel sounded his
trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He
will reign
forever and ever.”
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who
will rule all the nations with an iron
scepter. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
And all who dwell on the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life belonging to the Lamb who was slain.
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the
patience and the faith of the saints.
“If
anyone is destined for captivity, into captivity he
will go; if
anyone is to die by the sword, by the sword he must be killed.” Here is a call for the
perseverance and faith of the saints.
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be
tormented with fire and
brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
he too
will drink the wine of God’s anger, poured undiluted into the cup of His wrath. And he
will be
tormented in fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
And I heard a voice from heaven telling me to write, “Blessed are the dead—those who die in the Lord from this moment on.” “
Yes,” says the Spirit, “they
will rest from their labors, for their deeds
will follow them.”
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and
glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Who
will not fear You, O Lord, and
glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. All nations
will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
Behold, I come as a
thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
“Behold, I am coming like a
thief. Blessed is the one who remains
awake and clothed, so that he
will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.”
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come
hither; I
will shew unto thee the judgment of the great
whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Then one of the seven angels with the seven
bowls came and said to me, “Come, I
will show you the punishment of the great
prostitute, who sits on many waters.
And the angel said unto me, Wherefore
didst thou
marvel? I
will tell thee the
mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
“Why are you so
amazed?” said the angel. “I
will tell you the
mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns.
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall
ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into
perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
The beast that you saw—it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the
Abyss and go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world
will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet
will be.
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive one hour of authority as kings, along with the beast.
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
They will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and He will be accompanied by His called and chosen and faithful ones.”
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall
hate the
whore, and shall make her
desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
And the ten horns and the beast that you saw
will hate the
prostitute. They
will leave her
desolate and naked, and
will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by uniting to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues.
How much she hath
glorified herself, and lived
deliciously, so much
torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
As much as she has
glorified herself and lived in
luxury, give her the same measure of
torment and grief. In her heart she says, ‘I sit as queen; I am not a widow and
will never see grief.’
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and
mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Therefore her plagues will come in one day— death and grief and famine— and she will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.”
And the kings of the earth, who have committed
fornication and lived
deliciously with her, shall
bewail her, and
lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
Then the kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived in
luxury with her
will weep and
wail at the sight of the smoke rising from the fire that consumes her.
Standing
afar off for the fear of her
torment, saying,
Alas,
alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
In fear of her
torment, they
will stand at a distance and cry out: “
Woe,
woe to the great city, the mighty city of Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come.”
And the merchants of the earth shall
weep and
mourn over her; for no man buyeth their
merchandise any more:
And the merchants of the earth
will weep and
mourn over her, because there is no one left to
buy their
cargo—
And the fruits that thy soul
lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were
dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
And they
will say: “The fruit of your soul’s desire has departed from you; all your
luxury and
splendor have
vanished, never to be seen again.”
The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand
afar off for the fear of her
torment,
weeping and
wailing,
The merchants who sold these things and grew their wealth from her
will stand at a distance, in fear of her
torment. They
will weep and
mourn,
For in one hour so great riches is come to
nought. And every
shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood
afar off,
For in a single hour such
fabulous wealth has been destroyed!” Every
shipmaster,
passenger, and
sailor, and all who make their living from the sea,
will stand at a distance
And
cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
and cry out at the sight of the smoke rising from the fire that consumes her. “What city was ever like this great city?” they
will exclaim.
Then they
will throw dust on their heads as they
weep and
mourn and cry out: “
Woe,
woe to the great city, where all who had ships on the sea were enriched by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been destroyed.”
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great
millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
Then a mighty angel
picked up a stone the size of a great
millstone and cast it into the sea, saying: “With such violence the great city of Babylon
will be cast down, never to be seen again.
And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no
craftsman, of
whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a
millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
And the sound of harpists and musicians, of
flute players and trumpeters,
will never ring out in you again. Nor
will any
craftsmen of any trade be found in you again, nor the sound of a
millstone be heard in you again.
And the light of a
candle shall
shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the
bridegroom and of the
bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy
sorceries were all nations
deceived.
The light of a lamp
will never
shine in you again, and the voices of a
bride and
bridegroom will never call out in you again. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, because all the nations were
deceived by your
sorcery.”
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of
Almighty God.
And from His mouth proceeds a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He
will rule them with an iron
scepter. He treads the winepress of the
fury of the wrath of God the
Almighty.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
And when the thousand years are
expired,
Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
When the thousand years are complete,
Satan will be released from his prison,
And shall go out to
deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth,
Gog and
Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
and
will go out to
deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—
Gog and
Magog—to
assemble them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the
seashore.
And the devil that
deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night for ever and ever.
And the devil who had
deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they
will be
tormented day and night
forever and ever.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
And God shall
wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
‘He
will wipe away every
tear from their eyes,’ and there
will be no more death or
mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”
And he said unto me, It is done. I am
Alpha and
Omega, the beginning and the end. I
will give unto him that is
athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
And He told me, “It is done! I am the
Alpha and the
Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the
thirsty I
will give freely from the spring of the water of life.
He that overcometh shall
inherit all things; and I
will be his God, and he shall be my son.
The one who overcomes
will inherit all things, and I
will be his God, and he
will be My son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death.
But to the
cowardly and unbelieving and
abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place
will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come
hither, I
will shew thee the
bride, the Lamb’s wife.
Then one of the seven angels with the seven
bowls full of the seven final plagues came and said to me, “Come, I
will show you the
bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.
And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.
And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations.
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither
whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
But nothing unclean
will ever enter it, nor
anyone who practices an
abomination or a lie, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
And there shall be no more
curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
No longer
will there be any
curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb
will be within the city, and His servants
will worship Him.
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no
candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
There
will be no more night in the city, and they
will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God
will shine on them, and they
will reign
forever and ever.
And the Spirit and the
bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is
athirst come. And
whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
The Spirit and the
bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is
thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.
For I
testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
I
testify to
everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If
anyone adds to them, God
will add to him the plagues described in this book.
