bells of pure gold, and put the
bells between the pomegranates upon the
hem of the
robe, round about between the pomegranates;

curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD
doth make thy
thigh to

thigh shall
rot: and the woman shall be a

curse will enter her and cause bitter suffering; her
belly will swell, her
thigh will
shrivel, and she will become

belly thou fillest with thy
hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

saying: “In my distress I called to the LORD, and He answered me. From the
belly of
Sheol I called for help, and You heard my voice.
When I heard, my
belly trembled; my lips
quivered at the voice:
rottenness entered into my bones, and I
trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will
invade them with his troops.
I heard and
trembled within; my lips
quivered at the sound. Decay entered my bones; I
trembled where I stood. Yet I must wait patiently for the day of distress to come upon the people who
invade us.

scroll.” “Take it and eat it,” he said. “It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”

ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my
