All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

wearisome, more than one can describe; the

eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and
bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity,
yea, it is a
sore travail.
There is a man all alone, without even a son or brother. And though there is no end to his labor, his
eyes are still not content with his wealth: “For whom do I
toil and
bereave my soul of enjoyment?” This too is
futile—a
miserable task.

eyes like the fishpools in

eyes are like the pools of
Heshbon by the gate of Bath-rabbim; your nose is like the tower of
Lebanon, facing toward Damascus.

eyes from you:

listen. Your hands are covered with blood.

eyes.

Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine
eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Hosts.”
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their
eyes; lest they see with their
eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be
healed.
Make the hearts of this people calloused;
deafen their ears and close their
eyes. Otherwise they might see with their
eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be
healed.”
