Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and
from whence came they unto thee? And
Hezekiah said, They are come
from a far country, even
from Babylon.
Then the prophet Isaiah went to King
Hezekiah and asked, “Where did those men come
from, and what did they say to you?” “They came
from a distant land,”
Hezekiah replied, “
from Babylon.”
And of thy sons that shall issue
from thee, which thou shalt
beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood, will be taken away to be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
I will never again cause the feet of the Israelites to
wander from the land that I gave to their fathers, if only they are careful to do all I have commanded them—the whole Law that My servant Moses commanded them.”
Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have
provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem
from one end to another; beside his sin
wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
Moreover,
Manasseh shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem
from end to end, in addition to the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, doing evil in the sight of the LORD.

Bethel.
Then the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests second in rank, and the doorkeepers to remove

brook Kidron.
He pulled down the altars that the kings of Judah had set up on the roof near the upper chamber of

Surely there was not
holden such a
passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;
No such
Passover had been observed
from the days of the judges who had governed Israel through all the days of the kings of Israel and Judah.
Notwithstanding the LORD turned not
from the fierceness of his great wrath,
wherewith his anger was
kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that
Manasseh had
provoked him
withal.
Nevertheless, the LORD did not turn away
from the
fury of His burning anger, which was
kindled against Judah because of all that
Manasseh had done to
provoke Him to anger.
And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.

from the house of the LORD and the royal palace, and he cut into pieces all the gold articles that Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD.

For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out
from his presence, that
Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
For because of the anger of the LORD, all this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until He finally banished them

And the three
brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of
Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the LORD,
So the Three broke through the

And said, My God
forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in
jeopardy? for with the
jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
