Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

curse the ground any

smite any
more every thing living, as I have done.
When the LORD smelled the pleasing
aroma, He said in His heart, “Never again will I
curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from his youth. And never again will I destroy all living creatures as I have done.
And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

And the young man
deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob’s daughter: and he was

And when his brethren saw that their father loved him
more than all his brethren, they
hated him, and could not speak
peaceably unto him.
When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father loved him

And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they
hated him yet the
more.
Then Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they
hated him even
more.
And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they
hated him yet the
more for his dreams, and for his words.
“Do you intend to reign over us?” his brothers asked. “Will you actually rule us?” So they
hated him even
more because of his dream and his statements.

And the seven thin and ill favoured
kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

ugly cows that came up after them are seven years, and so are the seven worthless heads of grain
scorched by the east wind—they are seven years of famine.
And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
Moreover, because the dream was given to Pharaoh in two versions, the matter has been decreed by God, and He will carry it out shortly.
And they said, Thy servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of
Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is not.
But they answered, “Your servants are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of
Canaan. The youngest is now with our father, and one is no
more.”
We be twelve brethren, sons of our father; one is not, and the youngest is this day with our father in the land of
Canaan.
We are twelve brothers, sons of one father. One is no
more, and the youngest is now with our father in the land of

bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and

Simeon is no
more. Now you want to take Benjamin. Everything is going against me!”

For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
For the famine has covered the land these two years, and there will be five
more years without
plowing or harvesting.
And there will I
nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.
And there I will provide for you, because there will be five
more years of famine. Otherwise, you and your household and everything you own will come to
destitution.’
Moreover he
kissed all his brethren, and
wept upon them: and after that his brethren talked with him.

wept over them. And afterward his brothers talked with him.
They said
moreover unto Pharaoh, For to
sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is
sore in the land of
Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of
Goshen.
Then they said to Pharaoh, “We have come to live in the land for a time, because there is no pasture for the flocks of your servants, since the famine in the land of
Canaan has been severe. So now, please allow your servants to settle in the land of
Goshen.”
Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:
“Look,” he said to his people, “the Israelites have become too numerous and too powerful for us.
Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
Come, let us deal
shrewdly with them, or they will increase even
more; and if a war breaks out, they may join our enemies, fight against us, and leave the country.”
But the
more they
afflicted them, the
more they multiplied and grew. And they were
grieved because of the children of Israel.
But the
more they were
oppressed, the
more they multiplied and flourished; so the Egyptians came to
dread the Israelites.
Therefore God dealt well with the
midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.
So God was good to the
midwives, and the people multiplied and became even
more numerous.
Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses
hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
Then He said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses
hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.
And God said
moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my
memorial unto all generations.
God also told Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is My name
forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of
flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to
morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal
deceitfully any
more in not
letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.
“As soon as I leave you,” Moses said, “I will pray to the LORD, so that
tomorrow the swarms of
flies will depart from Pharaoh and his officials and his people. But Pharaoh must not act
deceitfully again by refusing to let the people go and sacrifice to the LORD.”
Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no
more mighty thunderings and
hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.
Pray to the LORD, for there has been enough of God’s
thunder and
hail. I will let you go; you do not need to stay any longer.”
And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the
thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any
more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the LORD’S.
Moses said to him, “When I have left the city, I will spread out my hands to the LORD. The
thunder will cease, and there will be no
more hail, so that you may know that the earth is the LORD’s.
And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the
hail and the thunders were ceased, he
sinned yet
more, and
hardened his heart, he and his servants.
Now therefore
forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.
Now please
forgive my sin once
more and appeal to the LORD your God, that He may remove this death from me.”
And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take
heed to
thyself, see my face no
more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
“Depart from me!” Pharaoh said to Moses. “Make sure you never see my face again, for on the day you see my face, you will die.”
And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.
“As you say,” Moses replied, “I will never see your face again.”
And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will
shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no
more for ever.
But Moses told the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the LORD’s salvation, which He will
accomplish for you
today; for the Egyptians you see
today, you will never see again.
And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
So the Israelites did this. Some gathered more, and some less.
And Moses
cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
Then Moses
cried out to the LORD, “What should I do with these people? A little
more and they will stone me!”
Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth,
hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of
fifties, and rulers of tens:
Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine
twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of
cunning work shalt thou make them.
“You are to construct the tabernacle itself with ten curtains of finely
spun linen, each with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and
cherubim skillfully worked into them.
And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the
breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the
ephod inward.
Make two
more gold rings and
attach them to the other two corners of the breastpiece, on the inside edge next to the
ephod.

more, and the poor shall not give less than half a

atone for your lives, the rich shall not give
more than a half
shekel, nor shall the poor give less.
Moreover the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of
Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;
Moreover, I have selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of
Dan, as his assistant. I have also given skill to all the
craftsmen, that they may fashion all that I have commanded you:
And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD has commanded us to do.”
And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
After Moses had given an order, they sent a
proclamation throughout the camp: “No man or woman should make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing
more,
For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
since what they already had was more than enough to perform all the work.
And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the
breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the
ephod inward.
They made two
more gold rings and attached them to the other two corners of the breastpiece, on the inside edge next to the
ephod.

sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part
more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his
trespass offering.

sworn falsely. He must make
restitution in full, add a fifth of the value, and pay it to the owner on the day he acknowledges his guilt.
Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any
abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which
pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.”

more feet; for such creatures are
detestable.
And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

infection is unchanged and has not spread on the skin, the priest must
isolate him for another seven days.
He shall be
shaven, but the
scall shall he not

isolate him for another seven days.
Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
the priest is to order the

more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a
whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
They must no longer offer their sacrifices to the goat demons to which they have
prostituted themselves. This will be a permanent statute for them for the generations to come.’
Moreover of the children of the strangers that do
sojourn among you, of them shall ye
buy, and of their families that are with you, which they
begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
You may also purchase them from the foreigners residing among you or their clans living among you who are born in your land. These may become your property.
And if ye will not yet for all this
hearken unto me, then I will
punish you seven times
more for your sins.
And if after all this you will not obey Me, I will proceed to
punish you
sevenfold for your sins.
And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not
hearken unto me; I will bring seven times
more plagues upon you according to your sins.
If you walk in hostility toward Me and refuse to obey Me, I will multiply your plagues seven times, according to your sins.

redeem the field, or if he has sold it to another man, it may no longer be redeemed.
Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
“Number the Levites by their families and clans. You are to count every male a month old or more.”
Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
The number of all the males a month old or more was 7,500.

The number of all the males a month old or more was 6,200.
All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
The total number of Levites that Moses and Aaron counted by their clans at the LORD’s command, including all the males a month old or more, was 22,000.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the
firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Number every
firstborn male of the Israelites a month old or
more, and list their names.
And all the
firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and
threescore and thirteen.
The total number of the
firstborn males a month old or
more, listed by name, was 22,273.
And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and
threescore and thirteen of the
firstborn of the children of Israel, which are
more than the Levites;
And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
But at the age of fifty, they must retire from performing the work and no longer serve.
(Now the man Moses was very
meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
Now Moses was a very humble man, more so than any man on the face of the earth.
Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and
moreover we saw the children of
Anak there.
Nevertheless, the people living in the land are strong, and the cities are large and fortified. We even saw the descendants of
Anak there.
Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards:
wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
Moreover, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey or given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you
gouge out the eyes of these men? No, we will not come!”

And
Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or
more.
But
Balaam replied to the servants of Balak, “If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not do anything small or great to go beyond the command of the LORD my God.
Now therefore, I pray you,
tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me
more.
So now, please stay here overnight as the others did, that I may find out what else the LORD has to tell me.”
And he took up his parable, and said,
Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!
Once
more Balaam lifted up an
oracle, saying: “
Ah, who can live unless God has ordained it?
