And in the
fifteenth day of this month is the feast:
seven days shall
unleavened bread be eaten.
On the
fifteenth day of this month, there shall be a feast; for
seven days
unleavened bread is to be eaten.
But ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and
seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without
blemish:
Present to the LORD an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and
seven male lambs a year old, all
unblemished.
A several tenth deal shalt thou offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
and a tenth of an
ephah with each of the
seven lambs.
After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.
Offer the same food each day for
seven days as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD. It is to be offered with its drink offering and the regular burnt offering.
On the seventh day you shall hold a sacred assembly; you must not do any regular work.
But ye shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first year;
Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and
seven male lambs a year old as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD,
A several tenth deal unto one lamb, throughout the seven lambs;
and a tenth of an
ephah with each of the
seven lambs.
And in the
seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy
convocation; ye shall do no
servile work: it is a day of blowing the
trumpets unto you.
“On the first day of the
seventh month, you are to hold a sacred assembly, and you must not do any regular work. This will be a day for you to sound the
trumpets.
And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young
bullock, one ram, and
seven lambs of the first year without
blemish:
As a pleasing
aroma to the LORD, you are to present a burnt offering of one young bull, one ram, and
seven male lambs a year old, all
unblemished,
And one tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
and a tenth of an
ephah with each of the
seven male lambs.
And ye shall have on the tenth day of this
seventh month an holy
convocation; and ye shall
afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein:
On the tenth day of this
seventh month, you are to hold a sacred assembly, and you shall humble
yourselves; you must not do any work.
But ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD for a sweet savour; one young
bullock, one ram, and
seven lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without
blemish:
Present as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD a burnt offering of one young bull, one ram, and
seven male lambs a year old, all
unblemished,
A several tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
and a tenth of an
ephah with each of the
seven lambs.
And on the
fifteenth day of the
seventh month ye shall have an holy
convocation; ye shall do no
servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD
seven days:
On the
fifteenth day of the
seventh month, you are to hold a sacred assembly; you must not do any regular work, and you shall observe a feast to the LORD for
seven days.
And on the
seventh day
seven bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without
blemish:
On the
seventh day you are to present
seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old, all
unblemished,
But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one
bullock, one ram,
seven lambs of the first year without
blemish:
As a pleasing
aroma to the LORD, you are to present an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of one bull, one ram, and
seven male lambs a year old, all
unblemished,
All of you who have killed a person or touched the dead are to remain outside the camp for
seven days. On the third day and the
seventh day you are to
purify both
yourselves and your
captives.
And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp.
On the seventh day you are to wash your clothes, and you will be clean. After that you may enter the camp.”
And the
booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and
seventy thousand and five thousand sheep,
and this
plunder remained from the spoils the soldiers had taken: 675,000 sheep,
And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep:
This was the half portion for those who had gone to war:
(Now the half that
pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and
seven thousand and five hundred sheep,
this half belonged to the congregation: 337,500 sheep,
And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.
All the gold that the commanders of thousands and of hundreds presented as an offering to the LORD
weighed 16,750 shekels.
And they removed from
Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and
threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
They set out from
Marah and came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and
seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
But the
seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy
manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine
ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy
manservant and thy
maidservant may rest as well as thou.
but the
seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God, on which you must not do any work—neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your
manservant or
maidservant, nor your ox or
donkey or any of your
livestock, nor the foreigner within your gates, so that your
manservant and
maidservant may rest as you do.
When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land
whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the
Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the
Amorites, and the
Canaanites, and the
Perizzites, and the
Hivites, and the Jebusites,
seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
When the LORD your God brings you into the land that you are entering to possess, and He drives out before you many nations—the
Hittites, Girgashites,
Amorites,
Canaanites,
Perizzites,
Hivites, and Jebusites,
seven nations larger and stronger than you—
Thy fathers went down into Egypt with
threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
Your fathers went down to Egypt, seventy in all, and now the LORD your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.
At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
At the end of every
seven years you must
cancel debts.
Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The
seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him
nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
Be careful not to
harbor this wicked thought in your heart: “The
seventh year, the year of release, is near,” so that you look upon your poor brother begrudgingly and give him nothing. He will cry out to the LORD against you, and you will be guilty of sin.
And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
If a fellow Hebrew, a man or a woman, is sold to you and serves you six years, then in the seventh year you must set him free.
Thou shalt eat no
leavened bread with it;
seven days shalt thou eat
unleavened bread
therewith, even the bread of
affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in
haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
You must not eat
leavened bread with it; for
seven days you are to eat with it
unleavened bread, the bread of
affliction, because you left the land of Egypt in
haste—so that you may remember for the rest of your life the day you left the land of Egypt.
And there shall be no
leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast
seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
No
leaven is to be found in all your land for
seven days, and none of the meat you sacrifice in the evening of the first day shall remain until morning.
Six days thou shalt eat
unleavened bread: and on the
seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.
For six days you must eat
unleavened bread, and on the
seventh day you shall hold a solemn assembly to the LORD your God, and you must not do any work.
Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the
seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the
sickle to the corn.
You are to count off
seven weeks from the time you first put the
sickle to the standing grain.
Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
You are to
celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for
seven days after you have gathered the produce of your
threshing floor and your winepress.
Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall
bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely
rejoice.
For
seven days you shall
celebrate a feast to the LORD your God in the place He will choose, because the LORD your God will
bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that your joy will be complete.
The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be
smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and
flee before thee
seven ways.
The LORD will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you in one direction but
flee from you in
seven.
The LORD shall cause thee to be
smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and
flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
The LORD will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will march out against them in one direction but
flee from them in
seven. You will be an object of
horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every
seven years, in the
solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
Then Moses commanded them, “At the end of every seven years, at the appointed time in the year of remission of debt, during the Feast of Tabernacles,
And
seven priests shall bear before the ark
seven trumpets of rams horns: and the
seventh day ye shall compass the city
seven times, and the priests shall blow with the
trumpets.
Have seven priests carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark. Then on the seventh day, march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the horns.
And Joshua the son of
Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let
seven priests bear
seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.
So Joshua son of
Nun summoned the priests and said, “Take up the ark of the covenant and have
seven priests carry
seven rams’ horns in front of the ark of the LORD.”
And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the
seven priests bearing the
seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the LORD, and
blew with the
trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.
After Joshua had spoken to the people,
seven priests carrying
seven rams’ horns before the LORD advanced and
blew the horns, and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.
And
seven priests bearing
seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and
blew with the
trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the
trumpets.
And the
seven priests carrying
seven rams’ horns kept marching
ahead of the ark of the LORD and blowing the horns. The armed troops went in front of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the LORD, while the horns kept sounding.
And it came to pass on the
seventh day, that they rose early about the
dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner
seven times: only on that day they compassed the city
seven times.
Then on the
seventh day, they got up at
dawn and marched around the city
seven times in the same manner. That was the only day they circled the city
seven times.
And it came to pass at the
seventh time, when the priests
blew with the
trumpets, Joshua said unto the people,
Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.
After the
seventh time around, the priests
blew the horns, and Joshua commanded the people, “
Shout! For the LORD has given you the city!
And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.
there were still seven tribes of Israel who had not yet received their inheritance.
And they shall divide it into
seven parts: Judah shall
abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall
abide in their coasts on the north.
and divide the land into seven portions. Judah shall remain in their territory in the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory in the north.
Ye shall therefore describe the land into
seven parts, and bring the description
hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.
When you have
mapped out the
seven portions of land and brought it to me, I will cast lots for you here in the presence of the LORD our God.
And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into
seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at
Shiloh.
So the men departed and went throughout the land,
mapping it city by city into
seven portions. Then they returned with the document to Joshua at the camp in
Shiloh.
And the
seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of
Dan according to their families.
The
seventh lot came out for the clans of the tribe of
Dan:
And Adoni-bezek said,
Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
Then Adoni-bezek said, “
Seventy kings with their thumbs and
big toes cut off have gathered the scraps under my table. As I have done to them, so God has repaid me.” And they brought him to Jerusalem, where he died.
And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of
Midian seven years.
Again the Israelites did evil in the sight of the LORD; so He delivered them into the hand of
Midian for
seven years,
And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young
bullock, even the second
bullock of
seven years old, and throw down the altar of
Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the
grove that is by it:
On that very night the LORD said to
Gideon, “Take your father’s young bull and a second bull
seven years old,
tear down your father’s altar to
Baal, and cut down the Asherah pole beside it.
And caught a young man of the men of Succoth, and enquired of him: and he described unto him the princes of Succoth, and the elders thereof, even
threescore and
seventeen men.
There he captured a young man of Succoth and
interrogated him. The young man wrote down for him the names of the
seventy-
seven leaders and elders of Succoth.
And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and
seven hundred shekels of gold; beside ornaments, and collars, and purple
raiment that was on the kings of
Midian, and beside the chains that were about their camels’ necks.
The weight of the gold earrings he had requested was 1,700 shekels, in addition to the
crescent ornaments, the pendants, the purple garments of the kings of
Midian, and the chains from the necks of their camels.
Gideon had
seventy sons of his own, since he had many wives.
Speak, I pray you, in the ears of all the men of
Shechem, Whether is better for you, either that all the sons of Jerubbaal, which are
threescore and ten persons, reign over you, or that one reign over you? remember also that I am your bone and your flesh.
“Please ask all the leaders of
Shechem, ‘Is it better for you that
seventy men, all the sons of Jerubbaal, rule over you, or just one man?’ Remember that I am your own flesh and blood.”
So they gave him
seventy shekels of silver from the temple of
Baal-berith, with which
Abimelech hired some worthless and
reckless men to follow him.
And he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and
slew his brethren the sons of Jerubbaal, being
threescore and ten persons, upon one stone: notwithstanding yet Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he
hid himself.
He went to his father’s house in Ophrah, and on one stone murdered his
seventy brothers, the sons of Jerubbaal. But Jotham, the youngest son of Jerubbaal, survived, because he
hid himself.
And ye are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons,
threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made
Abimelech, the son of his
maidservant, king over the men of
Shechem, because he is your brother;)
but you have risen up against my father’s house this day and killed his
seventy sons on a single stone, and you have made
Abimelech, the son of his
maidservant, king over the leaders of
Shechem because he is your brother—
That the cruelty done to the
threescore and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood be laid upon
Abimelech their brother, which
slew them; and upon the men of
Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.
in order that the crime against the
seventy sons of Jerubbaal might come to justice and their blood be
avenged on their brother
Abimelech and on the leaders of
Shechem, who had helped him murder his brothers.
Thus God rendered the wickedness of
Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in
slaying his
seventy brethren:
In this way God repaid the wickedness that
Abimelech had done to his father in murdering his
seventy brothers.
And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.
He had thirty sons, as well as thirty daughters whom he gave in marriage to men outside his clan; and for his sons he brought back thirty wives from elsewhere. Ibzan judged Israel seven years.
And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that
rode on
threescore and ten
ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.
He had forty sons and thirty grandsons, who
rode on
seventy donkeys. And he judged Israel eight years.
And
Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a
riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the
seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:
“Let me tell you a
riddle,”
Samson said to them. “If you can
solve it for me within the
seven days of the feast, I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty sets of clothes.
And it came to pass on the
seventh day, that they said unto
Samson’s wife,
Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the
riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
So on the fourth day they said to
Samson’s wife, “
Entice your husband to explain the
riddle to us, or we will burn you and your father’s household to death. Did you
invite us here to
rob us?”
And she
wept before him the
seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the
seventh day, that he told her, because she lay
sore upon him: and she told the
riddle to the children of her people.
She
wept the whole
seven days of the feast, and finally on the
seventh day, because she had pressed him so much, he told her the answer. And in turn she explained the
riddle to her people.
And the men of the city said unto him on the
seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not
plowed with my
heifer, ye had not found out my
riddle.
Before
sunset on the
seventh day, the men of the city said to
Samson: “What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” So he said to them: “If you had not
plowed with my
heifer, you would not have
solved my
riddle!”
And
Samson said unto her, If they bind me with
seven green withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
Samson told her, “If they
tie me up with
seven fresh bowstrings that have not been dried, I will become as weak as any other man.”
Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green withs which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.
So the lords of the Philistines brought her
seven fresh bowstrings that had not been dried, and she
tied him up with them.
And
Delilah said unto
Samson, Hitherto thou hast
mocked me, and told me lies: tell me
wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the
seven locks of my head with the web.
Then
Delilah said to
Samson, “You have
mocked me and
lied to me all along! Tell me how you can be
tied up.” He told her, “If you
weave the
seven braids of my head into the web of a
loom and
tighten it with a pin, I will become as weak as any other man.”
And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee,
Samson. And he
awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.
So while he
slept,
Delilah took the
seven braids of his hair and
wove them into the web. Then she
tightened it with a pin and called to him, “
Samson, the Philistines are here!” But he
awoke from his sleep and pulled out the pin with the
loom and the web.
And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to
shave off the
seven locks of his head; and she began to
afflict him, and his strength went from him.
And having
lulled him to sleep on her
lap, she called a man to
shave off the
seven braids of his head. In this way she began to
subdue him, and his strength left him.
And the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty and six thousand men that drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which were numbered seven hundred chosen men.
On that day the Benjamites
mobilized 26,000
swordsmen from their cities, in addition to the 700 select men of Gibeah.
Among all this people there were
seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could
sling stones at an hair breadth, and not miss.
Among all these soldiers there were 700 select left-handers, each of whom could
sling a stone at a hair without missing.
And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a
nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than
seven sons, hath born him.
He will renew your life and
sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and is better to you than
seven sons, has given him birth.”
They that were full have
hired out themselves for bread; and they that were
hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born
seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
The well-fed
hire themselves out for food, but the
starving hunger no more. The barren woman gives birth to
seven, but she who has many sons pines away.
And the ark of the LORD was in the country of the Philistines seven months.
When the ark of the LORD had been in the land of the Philistines seven months,
And he
smote the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he
smote of the people fifty thousand and
threescore and ten men: and the people
lamented, because the LORD had
smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
But God struck down some of the people of Beth-shemesh because they looked inside the ark of the LORD. He struck down
seventy men, and the people
mourned because the LORD had struck them with a great slaughter.
And thou shalt go down before me to
Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings:
seven days shalt thou
tarry, till I come to thee, and
shew thee what thou shalt do.
And you shall go before me to
Gilgal, and surely I will come to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice peace offerings. Wait
seven days until I come to you and show you what you are to do.”
And the elders of
Jabesh said unto him, Give us
seven days respite, that we may send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then, if there be no man to save us, we will come out to thee.
“Hold off for
seven days,” replied the elders of
Jabesh, “and let us send messengers throughout Israel. If there is no one to save us, we will surrender to you.”
And he
tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to
Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
And Saul waited
seven days for the time appointed by Samuel, but Samuel did not come to
Gilgal, and the troops began to desert Saul.
Again,
Jesse made
seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto
Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.
Thus
Jesse made
seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel told him, “The LORD has not chosen any of these.”
And they took their bones, and buried them under a tree at
Jabesh, and fasted
seven days.
Then they took their bones and buried them under the
tamarisk tree in
Jabesh, and they fasted
seven days.
And the time that David was king in
Hebron over the house of Judah was
seven years and six months.
And the length of time that David was king in
Hebron over the house of Judah was
seven years and six months.
In
Hebron he reigned over Judah
seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
In
Hebron he reigned over Judah
seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.
David captured from him a thousand
chariots,
seven thousand charioteers, and twenty thousand foot soldiers, and he
hamstrung all the horses except a hundred he kept for the
chariots.
And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David
slew the men of
seven hundred
chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand
horsemen, and
smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there.
But the Arameans fled before Israel, and David killed seven hundred charioteers and forty thousand foot soldiers. He also struck down Shobach the commander of their army, who died there.
And it came to pass on the
seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not
hearken unto our voice: how will he then
vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?
On the
seventh day the child died. But David’s servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, “Look, while the child was alive, we spoke to him, and he would not
listen to us. So how can we tell him the child is dead? He may even
harm himself.”
Let
seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will
hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.
let
seven of his male descendants be delivered to us so that we may
hang them before the LORD at Gibeah of Saul, the chosen of the LORD.” “I will give them to you,” said the king.
And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they
hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell all
seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.
And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they
hanged them on the hill before the LORD. So all
seven of them fell together; they were put to death in the first days of the harvest, at the beginning of the barley harvest.
Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all.
and Uriah the Hittite. There were thirty-seven in all.
So
Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall
seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or
wilt thou
flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days’
pestilence in thy land? now
advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.
So
Gad went and said to David, “Do you choose to
endure three years of famine in your land, three months of
fleeing the pursuit of your enemies, or three days of plague upon your land? Now then, think it over and decide how I should reply to Him who sent me.”
So the LORD sent a
pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from
Dan even to Beer-
sheba seventy thousand men.
So the LORD sent a plague upon Israel from that morning until the appointed time, and
seventy thousand of the people from
Dan to
Beersheba died.
And the days that David reigned over Israel were forty years:
seven years reigned he in
Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
The length of David’s reign over Israel was forty years—
seven years in
Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
The
nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was
seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
The bottom floor was five cubits wide, the middle floor six cubits, and the third floor
