And he put the
staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it
withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.
Then he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar for carrying it. He made the altar with boards so that it was hollow.
And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
And the curtains on the other side were also fifteen cubits long, with three posts and three bases as well.
And Bezaleel the son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all
that the LORD commanded Moses.
Bezalel son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything
that the LORD had commanded Moses.
All the gold
that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the
shekel of the sanctuary.
All the gold from the wave offering used for the work on the sanctuary totaled 29 talents and 730 shekels, according to the sanctuary
shekel.
And the silver of them
that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and
threescore and fifteen shekels, after the
shekel of the sanctuary:
The silver from those numbered among the congregation totaled 100 talents and 1,775 shekels, according to the sanctuary
shekel—
A
bekah for every man,
that is, half a
shekel, after the
shekel of the sanctuary, for every one
that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.
a beka per person,
that is, half a
shekel, according to the sanctuary
shekel, from
everyone twenty years of age or older who had crossed over to be numbered, a total of 603,550 men.
And the curious
girdle of his
ephod,
that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine
twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
And he put them on the shoulders of the
ephod,
that they should be stones for a
memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then they fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the
ephod as
memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And they did bind the
breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the
ephod with a lace of blue,
that it might be above the curious
girdle of the
ephod, and
that the
breastplate might not be loosed from the
ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then they
tied the rings of the breastpiece to the rings of the
ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so
that the breastpiece was above the
waistband of the
ephod and would not
swing out from the
ephod, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And there was an hole in the midst of the
robe, as the hole of an
habergeon, with a band round about the hole,
that it should not
rend.
with an opening in the center of the
robe like
that of a garment, with a
collar around the opening so
that it would not
tear.
Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
So all the work for the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
The Israelites had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they have done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.
And Moses
inspected all the work and saw
that they had accomplished it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things
that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the
candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
Then bring in the table and set out its arrangement; bring in the lampstand as well, and set up its lamps.
And thou shalt take the
anointing oil, and
anoint the tabernacle, and all
that is therein, and shalt
hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
Take the
anointing oil and
anoint the tabernacle and everything in it;
consecrate it along with all its furnishings, and it shall be holy.
And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and
anoint him, and
sanctify him;
that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
And you are to
clothe Aaron with the holy garments,
anoint him, and
consecrate him, so
that he may serve Me as a priest.
And thou shalt
anoint them, as thou
didst anoint their father,
that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their
anointing shall surely be an
everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
Anoint them just as you
anointed their father, so
that they may also serve Me as priests. Their
anointing will
qualify them for a permanent priesthood throughout their generations.”
Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
Moses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month of the second year.
But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
If the cloud was not lifted, they would not set out until the day it was taken up.
And he shall kill the
bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood, and
sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar
that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And he shall slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and
sprinkle it on all sides of the altar at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:
Then Aaron’s sons the priests are to arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat,
atop the burning wood on the altar.
And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:
He is to cut the animal into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and fat,
atop the burning wood
that is on the altar.
And he shall
cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it
asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood
that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
He shall
tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to burn it on the altar
atop the burning wood. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.
When you bring to the LORD the grain offering made in any of these ways, it is to be presented to the priest, and he shall take it to the altar.
And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
But the remainder of the grain offering shall belong to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD.
No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with
leaven: for ye shall burn no
leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
No grain offering
that you present to the LORD may be made with
leaven, for you are not to burn any
leaven or honey as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
From the peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat
that covers the
entrails, all the fat
that is on them,
And the two
kidneys, and the fat
that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the
kidneys, it shall he take away.
both
kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the
lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the
kidneys.
And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar
atop the burnt offering
that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole
rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat
that covereth the inwards, and all the fat
that is upon the inwards,
And from the peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the
backbone, the fat
that covers the
entrails, all the fat
that is on them,
And the two
kidneys, and the fat
that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the
kidneys, it shall he take away.
both
kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the
lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the
kidneys.
And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from his offering he shall present an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat
that covers the
entrails, all the fat
that is on them,
And the two
kidneys, and the fat
that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the
kidneys, it shall he take away.
both
kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the
lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the
kidneys.
It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
This is a permanent statute for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.”
If the priest
that is
anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath
sinned, a young
bullock without
blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
If the
anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the LORD a young bull without
blemish as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.
And the priest
that is
anointed shall take of the
bullock’s blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
Then the
anointed priest shall take some of the bull’s blood and bring it into the Tent of Meeting.
And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation: and shall pour all the blood of the
bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
The priest must then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of
fragrant incense
that is before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting. And he is to pour out the rest of the bull’s blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And he shall take off from it all the fat of the
bullock for the sin offering; the fat
that covereth the inwards, and all the fat
that is upon the inwards,
Then he shall remove all the fat from the bull of the sin offering—the fat
that covers the
entrails, all the fat
that is on them,
And the two
kidneys, and the fat
that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the
kidneys, it shall he take away,
both
kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the
lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the
kidneys—
And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be
hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
Now if the whole congregation of Israel strays
unintentionally and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly so
that they
violate any of the LORD’s commandments and
incur guilt by doing what is forbidden,
And the priest
that is
anointed shall bring of the
bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
Then the
anointed priest is to bring some of the bull’s blood into the Tent of Meeting,
And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
He is also to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar that is before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting, and he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be
forgiven him.
He must burn all its fat on the altar, like the fat of the peace offerings; thus the priest will make
atonement for
that man’s sin, and he will be
forgiven.
Or if his sin, which he hath
sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a
kid of the goats, a female without
blemish, for his sin which he hath
sinned.
When he becomes aware of the sin he has committed, he must bring an
unblemished female goat as his offering for
that sin.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an
atonement for his sin
that he hath committed, and it shall be
forgiven him.
And he shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the peace offerings, and he shall burn it on the altar along with the offerings made by fire to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be
forgiven.
Or if he touch the uncleanness of man,
whatsoever uncleanness it be
that a man shall be
defiled withal, and it be
hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
Or if he touches human uncleanness—anything by which one becomes unclean—even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty.
Or if a soul
swear,
pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good,
whatsoever it be
that a man shall
pronounce with an oath, and it be
hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
Or if someone swears
thoughtlessly with his lips to do anything good or evil—in whatever matter a man may
rashly pronounce an oath—even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty in the matter.
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things,
that he shall
confess that he hath
sinned in
that thing:
If someone incurs guilt in one of these ways, he must
confess the sin he has committed,
And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer
that which is for the sin offering first, and
wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it
asunder:
He is to bring them to the priest, who shall first present the one for the sin offering. He is to twist its head at the front of its neck without severing it;
But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he
that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an
ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any
frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
But if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he may bring a tenth of an
ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He must not put olive oil or
frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.
And the priest shall make an
atonement for him as touching his sin
that he hath
sinned in one of these, and it shall be
forgiven him: and the
remnant shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering.
In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for any of these sins he has committed, and he will be
forgiven. The remainder will belong to the priest, like the grain offering.”
And he shall make
amends for the
harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part
thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him with the ram of the
trespass offering, and it shall be
forgiven him.
Regarding any holy thing he has
harmed, he must make
restitution by adding a fifth of its value to it and giving it to the priest, who will make
atonement on his behalf with the ram as a guilt offering, and he will be
forgiven.
If a soul sin, and commit a
trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in
that which was delivered him to keep, or in
fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath
deceived his neighbour;
“If someone sins and acts unfaithfully against the LORD by
deceiving his
neighbor in regard to a deposit or security entrusted to him or
stolen, or if he extorts his
neighbor Or have found
that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these
that a man doeth,
sinning therein:
or finds lost property and lies about it and swears falsely, or if he commits any such sin that a man might commit—
Then it shall be, because he hath
sinned, and is guilty,
that he shall restore
that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath
deceitfully gotten, or
that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,
once he has
sinned and becomes guilty, he must return what he has
stolen or taken by
extortion, or the deposit entrusted to him, or the lost property he found,
Or all
that about which he hath
sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more
thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his
trespass offering.
or anything else about which he has
sworn falsely. He must make
restitution in full, add a fifth of the value, and pay it to the owner on the day he acknowledges his guilt.
And the priest shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be
forgiven him for any thing of all
that he hath done in
trespassing therein.
In this way the priest will make
atonement for him before the LORD, and he will be
forgiven for anything he may have done to
incur guilt.”
Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
“Command Aaron and his sons
that this is the law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering is to remain on the
hearth of the altar all night, until morning, and the fire must be kept burning on the altar.
And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen
breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
And the priest shall put on his linen
robe and linen undergarments, and he shall remove from the altar the ashes of the burnt offering
that the fire has consumed and place them beside it.
All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.
Any male among the sons of Aaron may eat it. This is a permanent portion from the offerings made by fire to the LORD for the generations to come. Anything that touches them will become holy.”
This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is
anointed; the tenth part of an
ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.
“This is the offering
that Aaron and his sons must present to the LORD on the day he is
anointed: a tenth of an
ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the evening.
And the priest of his sons
that is
anointed in his
stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD, it shall be wholly burnt.
The priest, who is one of Aaron’s sons and will be
anointed to take his place, is to prepare it. As a permanent portion for the LORD, it must be burned completely.
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.
“Tell Aaron and his sons that this is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, the sin offering shall be slaughtered before the LORD; it is most holy.
The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.
The priest who offers it shall eat it; it must be eaten in a holy place, in the
courtyard of the Tent of Meeting.
Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is
sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash
that whereon it was
sprinkled in the holy place.
Anything
that touches its flesh will become holy, and if any of the blood is
spattered on a garment, you must wash it in a holy place.
And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the
rump, and the fat
that covereth the inwards,
And all the fat from it shall be offered: the fat tail, the fat
that covers the
entrails,
And the two
kidneys, and the fat
that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul that is above the liver, with the
kidneys, it shall he take away:
both
kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the
lobe of the liver, which is to be removed with the
kidneys.
As the sin offering is, so is the
trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest
that maketh
atonement therewith shall have it.
The guilt offering is like the sin offering; the same law applies to both. It belongs to the priest who makes
atonement with it.
And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.
As for the priest who presents a burnt offering for
anyone, the hide of
that offering belongs to him.
And all the meat offering
that is
baken in the
oven, and all
that is dressed in the
fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest’s
that offereth it.
Likewise, every grain offering
that is
baked in an
oven or
cooked in a pan or on a
griddle belongs to the priest who presents it,
And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
Now this is the law of the peace offering that one may present to the LORD:
And of it he shall offer one out of the whole
oblation for an
heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest’s
that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.
From the cakes he must present one portion of each offering as a contribution to the LORD. It belongs to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for
thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day
that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
The meat of the sacrifice of his peace offering of
thanksgiving must be eaten on the day he offers it; none of it may be left until morning.
But if the sacrifice of his offering be a
vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day
that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the
morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:
If, however, the sacrifice he offers is a
vow or a
freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, but the remainder may be eaten on the next day.
And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him
that offereth it: it shall be an
abomination, and the soul
that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
If any of the meat from his peace offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted. It will not be credited to the one who presented it; it shall be an
abomination, and the one who eats of it shall bear his iniquity.
And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.
Meat
that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it is to be burned up. As for any other meat,
anyone who is
ceremonially clean may eat it.
But the soul
that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings,
that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even
that soul shall be cut off from his people.
But if
anyone who is unclean eats meat from the peace offering
that belongs to the LORD,
that person must be cut off from his people.
Moreover the soul
that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any
abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which
pertain unto the LORD, even
that soul shall be cut off from his people.
If one touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any unclean,
detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the peace offering
that belongs to the LORD,
that person must be cut off from his people.”
And the fat of the beast
that dieth of itself, and the fat of
that which is
torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.
The fat of an animal found dead or
mauled by wild beasts may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it.
For
whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul
that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
If
anyone eats the fat of an animal from which an offering made by fire may be presented to the LORD, the one who eats it must be cut off from his people.
Whatsoever soul it be
that eateth any manner of blood, even
that soul shall be cut off from his people.
If
anyone eats blood,
that person must be cut off from his people.’”
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He
that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his
oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.
“Speak to the Israelites and say, ‘
Anyone who presents a peace offering to the LORD must bring it as his sacrifice to the LORD.
His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.
With his own hands he is to bring the offerings made by fire to the LORD; he shall bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast as a wave offering before the LORD.
He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
The son of Aaron who presents the blood and fat of the peace offering shall have the right
thigh as a portion.
Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day
that he
anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.
On the day they were
anointed, the LORD commanded
that this be given them by the sons of Israel. It is a permanent portion for the generations to come.
Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount
Sinai, in the day
that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of
Sinai.
which the LORD gave Moses on Mount
Sinai on the day He commanded the Israelites to present their offerings to the LORD in the Wilderness of
Sinai.
Next, Moses took the
anointing oil and
anointed the tabernacle and everything in it; and so he consecrated them.
And he
slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and
purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and
sanctified it, to make
reconciliation upon it.
Moses slaughtered the bull, took some of the blood, and applied it with his finger to all four horns of the altar,
purifying the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it so
that atonement could be made on it.
And he took all the fat
that was upon the inwards, and
caul above the liver, and the two
kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.
Moses also took all the fat
that was on the
entrails, the
lobe of the liver, and both
kidneys and their fat, and burned it all on the altar.
And he brought the other ram, the ram of
consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
After
that, Moses presented the other ram, the ram of
ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
And he took the fat, and the
rump, and all the fat
that was upon the inwards, and the
caul above the liver, and the two
kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:
And Moses took the fat—the fat tail, all the fat
that was on the
entrails, the
lobe of the liver, and both
kidneys with their fat—as well as the right
thigh.
And Moses took of the
anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and
sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons’ garments with him; and
sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
Next, Moses took some of the
anointing oil and some of the blood
that was on the altar and
sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments, as well as Aaron’s sons and their garments.
And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons,
Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread
that is in the
basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.
And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “
Boil the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and eat it there with the bread
that is in the
basket of
ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’
And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.
Then you must burn up the remainder of the meat and bread.
