Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that
touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to
inherit; Behold, I will
pluck them out of their land, and
pluck out the house of Judah from among them.
This is what the LORD says: “As for all My evil neighbors who attack the inheritance that I
bequeathed to My people Israel, I am about to
uproot them from their land, and I will
uproot the house of Judah from among them.
Thus saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen
girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.
This is what the LORD said to me: “Go and
buy yourself a linen loincloth and put it around your
waist, but do not let it
touch water.”
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that
prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
Therefore this is what the LORD says about the prophets who
prophesy in My name: I did not send them, yet they say, ‘No sword or famine will
touch this land.’ By sword and famine these very prophets will meet their end!
And touching the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
Moreover, tell the house of the king of Judah to hear the word of the LORD.
For thus saith the LORD
touching Shallum the son of
Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of
Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:

Josiah but has gone forth from this place: “He will never return,
They have
wandered as blind men in the streets, they have
polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not
touch their garments.
They
wandered blind in the streets,
defiled by this blood, so that no one
dared to
touch their garments.
They
cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart,
touch not: when they fled away and
wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more
sojourn there.
“Go away! Unclean!” men
shouted at them. “Away, away! Do not
touch us!” So they fled and
wandered. Among the nations it was said, “They can stay here no longer.”
Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
and their wings were
touching one another. They did not turn as they moved; each one went straight
ahead.
Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
Such were their faces. Their wings were spread upward; each had two wings touching the wings of the creature on either side, and two wings covering its body.
I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that
touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great
rushing.
It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures
brushing against one another and the sound of the wheels beside them, a great
rumbling sound.
For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is
touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any
strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
The seller will surely not recover what he sold while both remain alive. For the vision concerning the whole multitude will not be
revoked, and because of their iniquity, not one of them will preserve his life.
Yea, behold, being planted, shall it
prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind
toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew.
Even if it is
transplanted, will it
flourish? Will it not completely wither when the east wind strikes? It will wither on the bed where it
sprouted.’”
And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
As I was
contemplating all this, suddenly a goat with a prominent horn between his eyes came out of the west, crossing the surface of the entire earth without
touching the ground.
Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
While he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep, with my face to the ground. Then he touched me, helped me to my feet,
Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man
Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly,
touched me about the time of the evening
oblation.
while I was still praying,
Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice.
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
Suddenly, a hand

trembling on my hands and knees.
And, behold, one like the
similitude of the sons of men
touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
And suddenly one with the likeness of a man
touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and said to the one standing before me, “My lord, because of the vision, I am overcome with
anguish, and I have no strength.
Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
Again the one with the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me.
And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that
toucheth the land, and it shall
melt, and all that dwell therein shall
mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be
drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
The Lord GOD of Hosts, He who
touches the earth and it melts, and all its dwellers
mourn— all the land rises like the Nile, then sinks like the river of Egypt—
If one bear holy flesh in the
skirt of his garment, and with his
skirt do
touch bread, or
pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
If a man carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and it
touches bread,
stew, wine, oil, or any other food, does that
item become holy?’” “No,” replied the priests.
Then said
Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body
touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which
spoiled you: for he that
toucheth you
toucheth the apple of his eye.
For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “After His Glory has sent Me against the nations that have
plundered you—for
whoever touches you
touches the apple of His eye—

leprosy was

touched the

cloak.

touch His
cloak, I will be
healed.”

touched were made perfectly whole.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
So Jesus had
compassion on them, and
touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
Moved with
compassion, Jesus
touched their eyes, and at once they received their sight and followed Him.
But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you:
And Jesus, moved with
compassion, put forth his hand, and
touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
Moved with
compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and
touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!”

healed many;
insomuch that they pressed upon him for to

cloak.

touch His garments, I will be
healed.”

And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude
thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who
touched me?
His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”
And
whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and
besought him that they might
touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as
touched him were made whole.
And wherever He went—villages and towns and countrysides—they laid the sick in the marketplaces and
begged Him just to let them
touch the
fringe of His
cloak. And all who
touched Him were
healed.
And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he
spit, and
touched his tongue;

spit and
touched the man’s tongue.

And as
touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the
bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
But concerning the dead rising, have you not read about the burning
bush in the Book of Moses, how God told him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
And he put forth his hand, and
touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the
leprosy departed from him.

Now when the
Pharisee which had
bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that
toucheth him: for she is a
sinner.
When the
Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who this is and what kind of woman is
touching Him—for she is a
sinner!”

touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood
stanched.

touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude

touched him and how she was
healed immediately.

trembling and fell down before Him. In the presence of all the people, she explained why she had
touched Him and how she had immediately been
healed.
And he said,
Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye
lade men with burdens
grievous to be borne, and ye
yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
“
Woe to you as well, experts in the law!” He replied. “You
weigh men down with heavy burdens, but you
yourselves will not lift a finger to
lighten their load.
And they brought unto him also infants, that he would
touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they

touched the man’s ear and
healed him.
Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man
touching those things
whereof ye
accuse him:
and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was
inciting the people to rebellion. I have examined Him here in your presence and found Him not guilty of your charges against Him.
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
Jesus saith unto her,
Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I
ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take
heed to

So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and the diseases and evil spirits left them.
As
touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from
strangled, and from
fornication.
As for the
Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they must
abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of
strangled animals, and from sexual immorality.”
Except it be for this one voice, that I
cried standing among them,
Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
unless it was this one thing I called out as I stood in their presence: ‘It is concerning the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial before you
today.’”
I think myself happy, king
Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee
touching all the things
whereof I am accused of the Jews:
“King
Agrippa, I consider myself fortunate to stand before you
today to defend myself against all the accusations of the Jews,
And the next day we
touched at
Sidon. And Julius
courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.
The next day we landed at
Sidon, and Julius treated Paul with consideration, allowing him to visit his friends and receive their care.
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
Regarding the gospel, they are enemies on your account; but regarding election, they are loved on account of the patriarchs.
Now concerning the things
whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to
touch a woman.
Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good to
abstain from sexual relations.
Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was not at all inclined to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
“Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
For as
touching the ministering to the saints, it is
superfluous for me to write to you:
Now about the service to the saints, there is no need for me to write to you.
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as
touching the law, a
Pharisee;
circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin; a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a
Pharisee;
as to zeal,
persecuting the church; as to righteousness in the law, faultless.
(Touch not; taste not; handle not;
“Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!”?
Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and
Marcus, sister’s son to
Barnabas, (
touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
My fellow prisoner
Aristarchus sends you greetings, as does Mark the cousin of
Barnabas. You have already received instructions about him: If he comes to you,
welcome him.
But as
touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye
yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
Now about brotherly love, you do not need
anyone to write to you, because you
yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.
And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
And we have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do what we command.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be
touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points
tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to
sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was
tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.
For ye are not come unto the mount that might be
touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and
tempest,
For you have not come to a mountain that can be
touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness,
gloom, and storm;
(For they could not
endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast
touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a
dart:
For they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.”
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have
gazed upon and
touched with our own hands—this is the Word of life.
We know that
whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is
begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one
toucheth him not.
We know that
anyone born of God does not keep on
sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot
touch him.
And now do ye not believe me? is not the king great in his power? do not all regions fear to touch him?
And again we
besought our Lord as
touching these things, and found him favourable unto us.
He answered me, and said, As for the
tokens whereof thou askest me, I may tell thee of them in part: but as
touching thy life, I am not sent to
shew thee; for I do not know it.
Now therefore, Lord, I will speak;
touching man in general, thou knowest best; but
touching thy people, for whose sake I am
sorry;
I will hold my tongue no more as
touching their wickedness, which they
profanely commit, neither will I suffer them in those things, in which they wickedly exercise themselves: behold, the innocent and righteous blood crieth unto me, and the souls of the just
complain continually.
And he said unto him,
Touching the heart and the liver, if a devil or an evil spirit trouble any, we must make a smoke thereof before the man or the woman, and the party shall be no more
vexed.
It is good to keep close the secret of a king, but it is honourable to
reveal the works of God. Do that which is good, and no evil shall
touch you.
And they came unto her, and she said unto them, Hear me now, O ye governors of the inhabitants of Bethulia: for your words that ye have spoken before the people this day are not right, touching this oath which ye made and pronounced between God and you, and have promised to deliver the city to our enemies, unless within these days the Lord turn to help you.
And are resolved to
spend the firstfruits of the tenths of wine and oil, which they had
sanctified, and reserved for the priests that serve in Jerusalem before the face of our God; the which things it is not lawful for any of the people so much as to
touch with their hands.
But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and there shall no
torment touch them.
And brought thine
unfeigned commandment as a sharp sword, and standing up filled all things with death; and it
touched the heaven, but it stood upon the earth.
Yea, the tasting of death
touched the righteous also, and there was a destruction of the multitude in the wilderness: but the wrath
endured not long.
He that washeth himself after the touching of a dead body, if he touch it again, what availeth his washing?
Neither
consult with a woman
touching her of whom she is
jealous; neither with a
coward in matters of war; nor with a merchant concerning exchange; nor with a
buyer of selling; nor with an
envious man of
thankfulness; nor with an
unmerciful man
touching kindness; nor with the
slothful for any work; nor with an
hireling for a year of finishing work; nor with an idle servant of much business:
hearken not unto these in any matter of counsel.
And made the midst of the furnace as it had been a moist
whistling wind, so that the fire
touched them not at all, neither
hurt nor troubled them.
And as
touching the evils that
Demetrius doeth to the Jews, we have written unto him, saying, Wherefore thou made thy yoke heavy upon our friends and confederates the Jews?
And as
touching the Jews, whom he had judged not worthy so much as to be buried, but to be cast out with their children to be
devoured of the fowls and wild beasts, he would make them all equals to the citizens of Athens:
