sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt

groaning, but there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my trouble; they are
glad that You have caused it. May You bring the day You have
announced, so that they may
become like me.

shriveled on their bones; it has
become as dry as a stick.

yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast
defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a

Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the
filthiness of it may be
molten in it, that the
scum of it may be consumed.

melt within; its
rust will be consumed.

To the end that none of all the trees by the waters
exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the
nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.
This happened so that no other trees by the waters would
become great in height and set their tops among the clouds, and no other well-watered trees would reach them in height. For they have all been
consigned to death, to the depths of the earth, among the mortals who descend to the Pit.’

shepherd, neither did my
shepherds search for my flock, but the
shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, because My flock lacks a
shepherd and has
become prey and food for every wild beast, and because My
shepherds did not search for My flock but fed themselves instead,

desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be
desolate, O mount
Seir, and all

desolate wastes, and to the cities that are
forsaken, which became a prey and
derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD. This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the
desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have
become a
spoil and a
mockery to the rest of the nations around you.
And they shall say, This land that was
desolate is
become like the garden of

healed; they shall be given to salt.

yourself will die on pagan soil. And Israel will surely go into exile, away from their homeland.’”

become a land of pastures, with wells for
shepherds and folds for sheep.

become, a resting place for beasts.
Everyone who passes by her hisses and shakes his
fist.

become a plain. Then he will bring forth the
capstone accompanied by shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”

become a
remnant for our God; they will
become like a clan in Judah, and
Ekron will be like the Jebusites.

worries of this life and the
deceitfulness of wealth
choke the word, and it
becomes unfruitful.
Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and

become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is
marvelous in our eyes’?
Woe to you,
scribes and
Pharisees, you hypocrites! You
traverse land and sea to
win a single convert, and when he
becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of
hell as you are.
Thou blind
Pharisee,
cleanse first that which is within the cup and
platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Blind
Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and
dish, so that the outside may
become clean as well.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is
nigh:
Now learn this
lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches
become tender and
sprout leaves, you know that summer is near.

choke the word, and it
becomes unfruitful.

becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may

miraculous powers are at work in him.”
And
wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked Your disciples to drive it out, but they were unable.”
And they
twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more
twain, but one flesh.

But it shall not be this way among you. Instead,
whoever wants to
become great among you must be your servant,

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
The devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”
And he
beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is
become the head of the corner?
But Jesus looked directly at them and said, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into

become His disciples?”

stir among the soldiers, what was
