But he,
being full of
compassion,
forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not:
yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not
stir up all his wrath.
And yet He was
compassionate; He
forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. He often restrained His anger and did not
unleash His full wrath.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from
being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in
remembrance.

erase them as a nation; may the name of Israel be remembered no more.”
For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be
likened unto the LORD?
For who in the
skies can compare with the LORD? Who among the heavenly
beings is like the LORD?
I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
being bound in
affliction and iron;
Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in
affliction and chains,
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
My heart is
steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my
being.
Be
surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud
oppress me.
For thou hast possessed my
reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s
womb.
For You formed my inmost
being; You
knit me together in my mother’s
womb.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.
While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

snare.
The words of a
gossip are like choice morsels that go down into the inmost
being.
The spirit of man is the
candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the
belly.
The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, searching out his inmost being.
My inmost
being will
rejoice when your lips speak what is right.
If thou
forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
Rescue those
being led away to death, and restrain those
stumbling toward the slaughter.
The words of a
gossip are like choice morsels that go down into the inmost
being.
He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
A man who remains stiff-necked after much reproof will suddenly be
shattered beyond recovery.
Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the
fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity.
So I said to myself, “The fate of the
fool will also
befall me. What then have I gained by
being wise?” And I said to myself that this too is
futile.
They all hold swords,
being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his

He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof

Zion will
lament and
mourn; destitute, she will sit on the ground.

bowels shall sound like an
harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-haresh.

harp, my inmost
being for Kir-heres.

being a city, and it shall be a
ruinous heap.

Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or informed Him as His
counselor?
Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
Your gates will always stand open; they will never be shut, day or night, so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings
being led in
procession.
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the
sinner being an hundred years old shall be
accursed.
No longer will a
nursing infant live but a few days, or an old man fail to live out his years. For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered
accursed.
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a
contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

being,” declares the LORD. “This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and
contrite in spirit, who trembles at My word.
Withhold thy foot from
being unshod, and thy throat from
thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
You should have kept your feet from going bare and your throat from
being thirsty. But you said, ‘It is hopeless! For I love foreign gods, and I must go after them.’
They have made it
desolate, and
being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made
desolate, because no man layeth it to heart.

Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.

As for me, I have not
hastened from
being a
pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the
woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was right before thee.
But I have not run away from
being Your
shepherd; I have not desired the day of
despair. You know that the
utterance of my lips was spoken in Your presence.

beseech thee, let this man be put to death: for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the
welfare of this people, but the
hurt.

captives of Jerusalem and Judah who were
being exiled to Babylon.
There shall be no more praise of Moab: in
Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from
being a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O
Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.
There is no longer praise for Moab; in
Heshbon they
devise evil against her: ‘Come, let us cut her off from nationhood.’ You too, O people of
Madmen, will be silenced; the sword will pursue you.

Yea, behold,
being planted, shall it
prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew.
Even if it is
transplanted, will it
flourish? Will it not completely wither when the east wind strikes? It will wither on the bed where it
sprouted.’”

Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it
brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass
hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
And just as you saw a stone
being cut out of the mountain without human hands, and it
shattered the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold, so the great God has told the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is
trustworthy.”
