Their land also is
full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also
full of horses, neither is there any end of their
chariots:
Their land is
full of silver and gold, with no limit to their treasures; their land is
full of horses, with no limit to their
chariots.
Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
Their land is full of idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their fingers have made.
And one
cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is
full of his glory.
And they were calling out to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts; all the earth is full of His glory.”
Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet
Ahaz, thou, and
Shear-jashub thy son, at the end of the
conduit of the upper
pool in the
highway of the
fuller’s field;

Shear-jashub to meet
Ahaz at the end of the
aqueduct that feeds the upper
pool, on the road to the
Launderer’s Field,
They shall not
hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be
full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
They will neither
harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be
full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is
full of water.
But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be
full of
doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
But desert creatures will lie down there, and
howling creatures will fill her houses. Ostriches will dwell there, and wild goats will
leap about.
For the waters of Dimon shall be
full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the
remnant of the land.

full of blood, but I will bring more upon Dimon— a lion upon the fugitives of Moab and upon the
remnant of the land.
Thou that art
full of stirs, a
tumultuous city, a
joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
O city of
commotion, O town of
revelry? Your slain did not die by the sword, nor were they killed in battle.
And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be
full of
chariots, and the
horsemen shall set themselves in
array at the gate.

full of
chariots, and
horsemen are posted at the gates.
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the
lees, of fat things

banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine.
By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be
purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in
sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
Therefore Jacob’s guilt will be
atoned for, and the
full fruit of the removal of his sin will be this: When he makes all the altar stones like
crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

full of
vomit and
filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

vomit; there is not a place without
filth.

full of
indignation, and his tongue as a
devouring fire:
Behold, the Name of the LORD comes from
afar, with burning anger and dense smoke. His lips are
full of
fury, and His tongue is like a
consuming fire.
But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and
widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy
sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
These two things will overtake you in a moment, in a single day: loss of children, and
widowhood. They will come upon you in
full measure, in spite of your many
sorceries and the
potency of your spells.
Thy sons have
fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are
full of the
fury of the LORD, the
rebuke of thy God.
Your sons have
fainted; they lie at the head of every street, like an
antelope in a net. They are
full of the wrath of the LORD, the
rebuke of your God.
Your
iniquities, and the
iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and
blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their
bosom.
both for your
iniquities and for those of your fathers,” says the LORD. “Because they burned incense on the mountains and
scorned Me on the hills, I will measure into their laps
full payment for their former deeds.”
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine
elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat. For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.

How shall I
pardon thee for this? thy children have
forsaken me, and
sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the
full, they then committed
adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.
“Why should I
forgive you? Your children have
forsaken Me and
sworn by gods that are not gods. I satisfied their needs, yet they committed
adultery and assembled at the houses of prostitutes.
Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD’S.

ravage them, but do not finish them off. Strip off her branches, for they do not belong to the LORD.
Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.

As a
cage is
full of birds, so are their houses
full of
deceit: therefore they are become great, and
waxen rich.
Like cages
full of birds, so their houses are
full of
deceit. Therefore they have become powerful and rich.
Therefore I am
full of the
fury of the LORD; I am
weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is
full of days.
But I am
full of the LORD’s wrath; I am
tired of holding it back. “Pour it out on the children in the street, and on the young men gathered together. For both husband and wife will be captured, the old and the very old alike.
For the land is
full of adulterers; for because of
swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
For the land is
full of adulterers— because of the
curse, the land mourns and the pastures of the wilderness have dried up— their course is evil and their power is misused.
The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a
full end of all nations
whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a
full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
For I am with you to save you, declares the LORD. Though I will completely destroy all the nations to which I have scattered you, I will not completely destroy you. Yet I will discipline you justly, and will by no means leave you unpunished.”

And I set before the sons of the house of the
Rechabites pots
full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.
Then I set pitchers
full of wine and some cups before the men of the house of the
Rechabites, and I said to them, “Drink some wine.”
Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a
full end of all the nations
whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a
full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.
And you, My servant Jacob, do not be afraid, declares the LORD, for I am with you. Though I will completely destroy all the nations to which I have banished you, I will not completely destroy you. Yet I will discipline you justly, and will by no means leave you unpunished.”
Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall
howl.
This is what the LORD says: “See how the waters are rising from the north and becoming an overflowing
torrent. They will overflow the land and its
fullness, the cities and their inhabitants. The people will cry out, and all who dwell in the land will
wail For Israel hath not been
forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
For Israel and Judah have not been abandoned by their God, the LORD of Hosts, though their land is full of guilt before the Holy One of Israel.”
Because the
spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite.

retribution; He will repay in
full.

doth the city sit solitary, that was
full of people how is she become as a widow she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary

full of
bloody crimes, and the city is

full of blood, and the city
full of
perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath
forsaken the earth, and the LORD
seeth not.
He replied, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is
full of
bloodshed, and the city is
full of
perversity. For they say, ‘The LORD has
forsaken the land; the LORD does not see.’

cherub, and stood over the
threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was

And it came to pass, when I
prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and
cried with a loud voice, and said,
Ah Lord GOD!
wilt thou make a
full end of the
remnant of Israel?
Now as I was
prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and
cried out in a loud voice, “Oh, Lord GOD, will You bring the
remnant of Israel to a complete end?”

full of feathers of many colors, came to
Lebanon and took away the top of the
cedar.

Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall
mock thee, which art infamous and much
vexed.
Those near and far will
mock you, O infamous city,
full of
turmoil.
For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and
rejoiced in heart with all thy
despite against the land of Israel;
For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you
clapped your hands and stomped your feet and
rejoiced over the land of Israel with a heart
full of contempt,

When I shall make the land of Egypt
desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that
whereof it was
full, when I shall
smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.

desolation and empty it of all that filled it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the LORD.’

And the sticks
whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
When the sticks on which you write are in your hand and in full view of the people,
And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and
horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and bring you out with all your army—your horses, your
horsemen in
full armor, and a great company armed with shields and bucklers, all
brandishing their swords.

full, and drink blood till ye be
drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

gorged and drink blood until you are

Then was
Nebuchadnezzar full of
fury, and the form of his
visage was changed against
Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was

Nebuchadnezzar was filled with

I will not
execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
I will not
execute the
full fury of My anger; I will not turn back to destroy Ephraim. For I am God and not man— the Holy One among you— and I will not come in wrath.

sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is
full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
Swing the
sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come,
trample the grapes, for the winepress is
full; the wine vats overflow because their wickedness is great.
Behold, I am pressed under you, as a
cart is pressed that is
full of
sheaves.
Behold, I am about to
crush you in your place as with a
cart full of grain.
But truly I am
full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his
transgression, and to Israel his sin.
As for me, however, I am filled with power by the Spirit of the LORD, with justice and courage, to declare to Jacob his
transgression and to Israel his sin.
For the rich men thereof are
full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is
deceitful in their mouth.
For the wealthy of the city are
full of violence, and its residents speak lies; their tongues are
deceitful in their mouths.
For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are
drunken as drunkards, they shall be
devoured as
stubble fully dry.
Woe to the
bloody city! it is all
full of lies and
robbery; the prey departeth not;
Woe to the city of blood,
full of lies,
full of
plunder, never without prey.

But who may
abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like
fullers’
sope:
But who can
endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire, like a
launderer’s soap.
Bring ye all the
tithes into the
storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now
herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Bring the
full tithe into the
storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,” says the LORD of Hosts. “See if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing without measure.
Therefore when thou doest thine
alms, do not sound a
trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
So when you give to the
needy, do not sound a
trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their
full reward.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a
sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
When you fast, do not be
somber like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they already have their
full reward.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

ate and were satisfied, and the disciples
picked up seven

Woe unto you,
scribes and
Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited
sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within
full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Woe to you,
scribes and
Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like
whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are
full of dead men’s bones and every kind of impurity.
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are
full of
hypocrisy and iniquity.
In the same way, on the outside you appear to be righteous, but on the inside you are
full of
hypocrisy and wickedness.

Full well ye
reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
He went on to say, “You
neatly set aside the command of God to maintain your own tradition.
When I
brake the five
loaves among five thousand, how many baskets
full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.

loaves for the five thousand, how many
basketfuls of broken pieces did you collect?” “Twelve,” they answered.
And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

spunge full of
vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man
full of
leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and
besought him, saying, Lord, if thou

leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell facedown and
begged Him, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Woe unto you that are
full! for ye shall hunger.
Woe unto you that
laugh now! for ye shall
mourn and
weep.
Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will hunger.
Woe to you who
laugh now, for you will
mourn and
weep.
And if ye
lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what
thank have ye? for sinners also
lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
And if you
lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners
lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in
full.
The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
A disciple is not above his teacher, but
