morrow is the rest of the

He told them, “This is what the LORD has said: ‘

boil what you want to
boil. Then set aside whatever remains and keep it until morning.’”

holy.’”

hang up the

girdle: and they shall make
holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
These are the garments that they shall make: a breastpiece, an

forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the
holy things, which the children of Israel shall

holy; whatever touches the altar will be
holy.

atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make
atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most
holy unto the LORD.

atonement on the horns of the altar. Throughout your generations he shall make
atonement on it annually with the blood of the sin offering of
atonement. The altar is most
holy to the LORD.”

whatsoever toucheth them shall be
holy.

holy. Whatever touches them shall be
holy.

anointing oil for the generations to come.
Upon man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.
It must not be used to
anoint an ordinary man, and you must not make anything like it with the same formula. It is
holy, and it must be
holy to you.
And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.
Grind some of it into fine powder and place it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most
holy to you.
And as for the
perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to
yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee
holy for the LORD.
You are never to use this formula to make incense for
yourselves; you shall regard it as
holy to the LORD.

holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for
whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Anyone who profanes it must surely be put to death.
Whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from among his people.
Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest,
holy to the LORD:
whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
For six days work may be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest,
holy to the LORD.
Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death.
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an
holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD:
whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
For six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be your
holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD.

stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the

shekel.

From the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made specially
woven garments for ministry in the sanctuary, as well as the
holy garments for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And they made the plate of the
holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a
signet,
HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
They also made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and they engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD.
The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office.
and the
woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary, both the
holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.
And thou shalt take the
anointing oil, and
anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt
hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be
holy.
Take the
anointing oil and
anoint the tabernacle and everything in it;
consecrate it along with all its furnishings, and it shall be
holy.
And thou shalt
anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and
sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most
holy.
Anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils;
consecrate the altar, and it shall be most
holy.
And thou shalt put upon Aaron the
holy garments, and
anoint him, and
sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
And you are to
clothe Aaron with the
holy garments,
anoint him, and
consecrate him, so that he may serve Me as a priest.
And the
remnant of the meat offerings shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most
holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
The remainder of the grain offering shall belong to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD.
And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
But the remainder of the grain offering shall belong to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD.
If a soul commit a
trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the
holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his
trespass unto the LORD a ram without
blemish out of the flocks, with thy
estimation by shekels of silver, after the
shekel of the sanctuary, for a
trespass offering:
“If someone acts unfaithfully and sins
unintentionally against any of the LORD’s
holy things, he must bring his guilt offering to the LORD: an
unblemished ram from the flock, of proper value in silver shekels according to the sanctuary
shekel; it is a guilt offering.
And he shall make
amends for the
harm that he hath done in the
holy thing, and shall add the fifth part
thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him with the ram of the
trespass offering, and it shall be
forgiven him.
Regarding any
holy thing he has
harmed, he must make
restitution by adding a fifth of its value to it and giving it to the priest, who will make
atonement on his behalf with the ram as a guilt offering, and he will be
forgiven.
And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with
unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the
holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.
Aaron and his sons are to eat the remainder. It must be eaten without
leaven in a
holy place; they are to eat it in the
courtyard of the Tent of Meeting.
It shall not be
baken with
leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most
holy, as is the sin offering, and as the
trespass offering.
It must not be
baked with
leaven; I have assigned it as their portion of My offerings made by fire. It is most
holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.
All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.
Any male among the sons of Aaron may eat it. This is a permanent portion from the offerings made by fire to the LORD for the generations to come. Anything that touches them will become holy.”
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.
“Tell Aaron and his sons that this is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, the sin offering shall be slaughtered before the LORD; it is most holy.
The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.
The priest who offers it shall eat it; it must be eaten in a
holy place, in the
courtyard of the Tent of Meeting.
Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be
holy: and when there is
sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that
whereon it was
sprinkled in the
holy place.
Anything that touches its flesh will become
holy, and if any of the blood is
spattered on a garment, you must wash it in a
holy place.
All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.
Any male among the priests may eat it; it is most holy.
And no sin offering,
whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to
reconcile withal in the
holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.
But no sin offering may be eaten if its blood has been brought into the Tent of Meeting to make
atonement in the
Holy Place; it must be burned.
Likewise this is the law of the
trespass offering: it is most
holy.
“Now this is the law of the guilt offering, which is most holy:
Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.
Every male among the priests may eat of it. It must be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.
And he put the
mitre upon his head; also upon the
mitre, even upon his
forefront, did he put the golden plate, the
holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Moses also put the
turban on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the
holy diadem, on the front of the
turban, as the LORD had commanded him.
And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
You must distinguish between the holy and the common, between the clean and the unclean,
And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto
Eleazar and unto
Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without
leaven beside the altar: for it is most
holy:
And Moses said to Aaron and his remaining sons,
Eleazar and
Ithamar, “Take the grain offering that remains from the offerings made by fire to the LORD and eat it without
leaven beside the altar, because it is most
holy.
And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons’ due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.
You shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your share and your sons’ share of the offerings made by fire to the LORD; for this is what I have been commanded.
Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the
holy place, seeing it is most
holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make
atonement for them before the LORD?
“Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the
holy place? For it is most
holy; it was given to you to take away the guilt of the congregation by making
atonement for them before the LORD.
Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.
Since its blood was not brought inside the holy place, you should have eaten it in the sanctuary area, as I commanded.”
For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
For I am the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt so that I would be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
And he shall
slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the
holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the
trespass offering: it is most
holy:
Then he is to slaughter the lamb in the sanctuary area where the sin offering and burnt offering are slaughtered. Like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the
holy place within the
vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
And the LORD said to Moses: “Tell your brother Aaron not to enter freely into the Most
Holy Place behind the
veil in front of the mercy seat on the ark, or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.
Thus shall Aaron come into the
holy place: with a young
bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
This is how Aaron is to enter the Holy Place: with a young bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.
He shall put on the
holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen
breeches upon his flesh, and shall be
girded with a linen
girdle, and with the linen
mitre shall he be
attired: these are
holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
He is to wear the sacred linen
tunic, with linen undergarments. He must
tie a linen
sash around him and put on the linen
turban. These are
holy garments, and he must
bathe himself with water before he wears them.
And he shall make an
atonement for the
holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
So he shall make
atonement for the Most
Holy Place because of the impurities and
rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to do the same for the Tent of Meeting which abides among them, because it is surrounded by their impurities.
And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an
atonement in the
holy place, until he come out, and have made an
atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
No one may be in the Tent of Meeting from the time Aaron goes in to make
atonement in the Most
Holy Place until he leaves, after he has made
atonement for himself, his household, and the whole assembly of Israel.
And when he hath made an end of
reconciling the
holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:
When Aaron has finished
purifying the Most
Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he is to bring forward the live goat.
And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
Then Aaron is to enter the Tent of Meeting, take off the linen garments he put on before entering the Most Holy Place, and leave them there.
And he shall wash his flesh with water in the
holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an
atonement for himself, and for the people.
He is to
bathe himself with water in a
holy place and put on his own clothes. Then he must go out and sacrifice his burnt offering and the people’s burnt offering to make
atonement for himself and for the people.
And the
bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make
atonement in the
holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought into the Most
Holy Place to make
atonement, must be taken outside the camp; and their hides, flesh, and dung must be burned up.
And the priest, whom he shall
anoint, and whom he shall
consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s
stead, shall make the
atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the
holy garments:
The priest who is
anointed and ordained to succeed his father as high priest shall make
atonement. He will put on the sacred linen garments
And he shall make an
atonement for the
holy sanctuary, and he shall make an
atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an
atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.
and make
atonement for the Most
Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, and for the priests and all the people of the assembly.
Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
“Speak to the whole congregation of Israel and tell them: Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy.
Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath
profaned the
hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
Whoever eats it will bear his iniquity, for he has
profaned what is
holy to the LORD. That person must be cut off from his people.
But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be
holy to praise the LORD
withal.
In the fourth year all its fruit must be consecrated as a praise offering to the LORD.
And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto
Molech, to
defile my sanctuary, and to
profane my
holy name.
And I will set My face against that man and cut him off from his people, because by giving his offspring to
Molech, he has
defiled My sanctuary and
profaned My
holy name.
And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
You are to be holy to Me because I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be My own.
They shall be
holy unto their God, and not
profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be
holy.
They must be
holy to their God and not
profane the name of their God. Because they present to the LORD the offerings made by fire, the food of their God, they must be
holy.
They shall not take a wife that is a
whore, or
profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is
holy unto his God.
Thou shalt
sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be
holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which
sanctify you, am
holy.
You are to regard him as holy, since he presents the food of your God. He shall be holy to you, because I the LORD am holy—I who set you apart.
He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
He may eat the most holy food of his God as well as the holy food,
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the
holy things of the children of Israel, and that they
profane not my
holy name in those things which they
hallow unto me: I am the LORD.
“Tell Aaron and his sons to treat with respect the sacred offerings that the Israelites have consecrated to Me, so that they do not
profane My
holy name. I am the LORD.
Say unto them,
Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the
holy things, which the children of Israel
hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
Tell them that for the generations to come, if any of their descendants in a state of uncleanness approaches the sacred offerings that the Israelites
consecrate to the LORD, that person must be cut off from My presence. I am the LORD.
What man
soever of the seed of Aaron is a
leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the
holy things, until he be clean. And
whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.
the man who touches any of these will remain unclean until evening. He must not eat from the sacred offerings unless he has bathed himself with water.
And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.
When the sun has set, he will become clean, and then he may eat from the sacred offerings, for they are his food.
There shall no stranger eat of the
holy thing: a
sojourner of the priest, or an
hired servant, shall not eat of the
holy thing.
No one outside a priest’s family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the
guest of a priest or his
hired hand eat it.
If the priest’s daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
If the priest’s daughter is married to a man other than a priest, she is not to eat of the sacred contributions.
And if a man eat of the
holy thing
unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the
holy thing.
If
anyone eats a sacred offering in error, he must add a fifth to its value and give the sacred offering to the priest.
