But let none come into the house of the LORD, save the priests, and they that minister of the Levites; they shall go in, for they are holy: but all the people shall keep the watch of the LORD.

Also they have shut up the doors of the
porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the

Holy Place of the God of Israel.
Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.

consult the
Urim and
Thummim.
And I said unto them, Ye are
holy unto the LORD; the vessels are
holy also; and the silver and the gold are a
freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

holy. The silver and gold are a
freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.
For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the
holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands:
yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this
trespass.

And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a
remnant to escape, and to give us a
nail in his
holy place, that our God may
lighten our eyes, and give us a little
reviving in our
bondage.
But now, for a brief moment, grace has come from the LORD our God to preserve for us a
remnant and to give us a
stake in His
holy place. Even in our
bondage, our God has given us new life and light to our eyes.
And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most
holy things, till there stood up a priest with

holy things until there was a priest to
consult the

Thummim.
And
Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and
Ezra the priest the
scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is
holy unto the LORD your God;
mourn not, nor
weep. For all the people
wept, when they heard the words of the law.
Nehemiah the governor,
Ezra the priest and
scribe, and the Levites who were
instructing the people said to all of them, “This day is
holy to the LORD your God. Do not
mourn or
weep.” For all the people were
weeping as they heard the words of the Law.
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is
holy unto our Lord: neither be ye
sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Nehemiah told them, “Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send out portions to those who have nothing prepared, since
today is
holy to our Lord. Do not
grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not
buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the
holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the
exaction of every debt.
When the people of the land bring
merchandise or any kind of grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we will not
buy from them on a Sabbath or
holy day. Every seventh year we will let the fields lie
fallow, and will
cancel every debt.
For the
shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the

atonement for Israel, and for all the duties of the house of our God.
And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.

Zerubbabel, and in the days of
Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the
porters, every day his portion: and they
sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites
sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
So in the days of
Zerubbabel and
Nehemiah, all Israel contributed the daily portions for the singers and gatekeepers. They also set aside daily portions for the Levites, and the Levites set aside daily portions for the descendants of Aaron.
And I commanded the Levites that they should
cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to
sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and
spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.
Then I
instructed the Levites to
purify themselves and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day
holy. Remember me for this as well, O my God, and show me mercy according to Your abundant loving devotion.
Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints
wilt thou turn?
“Call out if you please, but who will answer? To which of the holy ones will you turn?
Then should I yet have comfort;
yea, I would
harden myself in sorrow: let him not
spare; for I have not concealed the words of the
Holy One.
It still brings me comfort, and joy through
unrelenting pain, that I have not denied the words of the
Holy One.
Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints;
yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.
If God puts no trust in His holy ones, if even the heavens are not pure in His eyes,
Yet have I set my king upon my
holy hill of
Zion.
I
cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his
holy hill.
Selah.
To the LORD I cry
aloud, and He answers me from His
holy mountain.
Selah But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
But I will enter Your house by the abundance of Your loving devotion; in reverence I will bow down toward Your holy temple.
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD is on His heavenly throne. His eyes are watching closely; they examine the sons of men.
LORD, who shall
abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy
holy hill?
O LORD, who may
abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your
holy mountain?
For thou
wilt not leave my soul in
hell; neither
wilt thou suffer thine
Holy One to see corruption.
For You will not
abandon my soul to
Sheol, nor will You let Your
Holy One see decay.
Now know I that the LORD saveth his
anointed; he will hear him from his
holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Now I know that the LORD saves His
anointed; He answers him from His
holy heaven with the saving power of His right hand.
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Yet You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.
Who shall
ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his
holy place?
Who may
ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His
holy place?
Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy
holy oracle.
Hear my cry for mercy when I call to You for help, when I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
Sing to the LORD, O you His saints, and praise His holy name.
For our heart shall
rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his
holy name.
For our hearts
rejoice in Him, since we trust in His
holy name.
When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept
holyday.
These things come to mind as I pour out my soul: how I walked with the multitude, leading the
procession to the house of God with shouts of joy and praise.
O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain, and to the place where You dwell.
There is a river, the streams
whereof shall make
glad the city of God, the
holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
There is a river whose streams delight the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his
holiness.
God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his
holiness.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, His holy mountain.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Cast me not away from Your presence; take not Your Holy Spirit from me.
Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
Blessed is the one You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts! We are filled with the goodness of Your house, the
holiness of Your temple.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his
holy habitation.
A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in His
holy habitation.
The
chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in
Sinai, in the
holy place.
The
chariots of God are tens of thousands— thousands of thousands are they; the Lord is in His sanctuary as He was at
Sinai.
O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
O God, You are
awesome in Your sanctuary; the God of Israel Himself gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!
I will also praise thee with the
psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the
harp, O thou
Holy One of Israel.
So I will praise You with the
harp for Your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to You with the
lyre, O
Holy One of Israel.
Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
Your way, O God, is holy. What god is so great as our God?
Yea, they turned back and
tempted God, and limited the
Holy One of Israel.
Again and again they tested God and
provoked the
Holy One of Israel.
And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.
He brought them to His holy land, to the mountain His right hand had acquired.
O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy
holy temple have they
defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
The nations, O God, have invaded Your inheritance; they have
defiled Your
holy temple and reduced Jerusalem to
rubble.
Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
Preserve my soul, for I am godly. You are my God; save Your servant who trusts in You.
His foundation is in the holy mountains.
He has founded His city on the holy mountains.
And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
The heavens praise Your wonders, O LORD— Your faithfulness as well— in the assembly of the holy ones.
God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
In the council of the
holy ones, God is greatly feared, and
awesome above all who
surround Him.
For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
Surely our shield belongs to the LORD, and our king to the Holy One of Israel.
Then thou spakest in vision to thy
holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have
exalted one chosen out of the people.
You once spoke in a vision; to Your godly ones You said, “I have bestowed help on a
warrior; I have
exalted one chosen from the people.
I have found David my servant; with my
holy oil have I
anointed him:
I have found My servant David; with My sacred oil I have
anointed him.
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones, and praise His
holy name.
O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his
holy arm, hath
gotten him the victory.
Sing to the LORD a new song, for He has done wonders; His right hand and holy arm have gained Him the victory.
Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
Let them praise Your great and
awesome name— He is
holy!
Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his
footstool; for he is
holy.
Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his
holy hill; for the LORD our God is
holy.
Exalt the LORD our God and worship at His
holy mountain, for the LORD our God is
holy.
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me,
bless his
holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul; all that is within me,
bless His
holy name.
Glory ye in his
holy name: let the heart of them
rejoice that seek the LORD.
Glory in His
holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD
rejoice.
For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.
They
envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
In the camp they
envied Moses, as well as Aaron, the
holy one of the LORD.
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give
thanks unto thy
holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give
thanks to Your
holy name, that we may glory in Your praise.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of
holiness from the
womb of the morning: thou hast the
dew of thy youth.
Your people shall be willing on Your day of battle.
Arrayed in
holy splendor, from the
womb of the
dawn, to You belongs the
dew of Your youth.
He sent
redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever:
holy and
reverend is his name.
I will worship toward thy
holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast
magnified thy word above all thy name.
I bow down toward Your
holy temple and give
thanks to Your name for Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness; You have
exalted Your name and Your word above all else.
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh
bless his
holy name for ever and ever.
My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature
bless His
holy name
forever and ever.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
It is a
snare to the man who devoureth that which is
holy, and after vows to make
enquiry.
I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
I have not learned wisdom, and I have no knowledge of the Holy One.
And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.
Then too, I saw the burial of the wicked who used to go in and out of the
holy place, and they were praised in the city where they had done so. This too is
futile.
Ah sinful nation, a people
laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have
forsaken the LORD, they have
provoked the
Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
Alas, O sinful nation, a people
laden with iniquity, a
brood of evildoers, children of
depravity! They have
forsaken the LORD; they have
despised the
Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on Him.
And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in
Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called
holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
Whoever remains in
Zion and
whoever is left in Jerusalem will be called
holy— all in Jerusalem who are recorded among the living—
But the LORD of hosts shall be
exalted in judgment, and God that is
holy shall be
sanctified in righteousness.
But the LORD of Hosts will be
exalted by His justice, and the
holy God will show Himself
holy in righteousness.
That say, Let him make speed, and
hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the
Holy One of Israel draw
nigh and come, that we may know it!
to those who say, “Let Him
hurry and
hasten His work so that we may see it! Let the plan of the
Holy One of Israel come so that we may know it!”
Therefore as the fire devoureth the
stubble, and the flame consumeth the
chaff, so their root shall be as
rottenness, and their
blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and
despised the word of the
Holy One of Israel.
Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes the straw, and as dry grass shrivels in the flame, so their roots will decay and their blossoms will blow away like dust; for they have rejected the instruction of the LORD of Hosts and
despised the word of the
Holy One of Israel.
And one
cried unto another, and said,
Holy,
holy,
holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
And they were calling out to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts; all the earth is full of His glory.”
But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a
teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the
holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
And though a tenth remains in the land, it will be burned again. As the
terebinth and oak leave stumps when felled, so the
holy seed will be a
stump in the land.”
Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your
dread.
The LORD of Hosts is the One you shall regard as
holy. Only He should be feared; only He should be
dreaded.
And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his
Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and
devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
And the Light of Israel will become a fire, and its
Holy One a flame. In a single day it will burn and
devour Assyria’s thorns and thistles.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the
remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that
smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the
Holy One of Israel, in truth.
On that day the
remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no longer depend on him who struck them, but they will truly
rely on the LORD, the
Holy One of Israel.
They shall not
hurt nor destroy in all my
holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
They will neither
harm nor destroy on all My
holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water.
Cry out and
shout, thou inhabitant of
Zion: for great is the
Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
Cry out and sing, O citizen of
Zion, for great among you is the
Holy One of Israel.”
At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.
In that day men will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great
trumpet shall be
blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the
holy mount at Jerusalem.
And in that day a great ram’s horn will sound, and those who were perishing in Assyria will come forth with those who were exiles in Egypt. And they will worship the LORD on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.
The
meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall
rejoice in the
Holy One of Israel.
The humble will increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men will
rejoice in the
Holy One of Israel.
But when he
seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall
sanctify my name, and
sanctify the
Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
For when he sees his children around him, the work of My hands, they will honor My name, they will
sanctify the
Holy One of Jacob, and they will stand in
awe of the God of Israel.
Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Get out of the way; turn off the road. Rid us of the Holy One of Israel!”
