And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
And he cast four gold rings for its four feet, two rings on one side and two on the other.
One
cherub on the end on this side, and another
cherub on the
other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
one
cherub on one end and one on the
other, all made from one piece of gold.
And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
And the
cherubim had wings that spread upward, overshadowing the mercy seat. The
cherubim faced each
other, looking toward the mercy seat.
And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the
candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the
candlestick out of the
other side thereof:
Six branches extended from the sides, three on one side and three on the other.

And the curtains on the other side were also fifteen cubits long, with three posts and three bases as well.
And the two ends of the two
wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the
ephod, before it.
and they fastened the
other ends of the two chains to the two
filigree settings,
attaching them to the shoulder pieces of the
ephod at the front.
And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the
breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the
ephod inward.
They made two more gold rings and attached them to the
other two corners of the breastpiece, on the inside edge next to the
ephod.
And they made two
other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the
ephod underneath, toward the
forepart of it, over against the
other coupling thereof, above the curious
girdle of the
ephod.
They made two additional gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the
ephod, on its front, near the
seam just above its
woven waistband.
And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his
trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the
other for a burnt offering.
If, however, he cannot afford a lamb, he may bring to the LORD as
restitution for his sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering and the
other as a burnt offering.
And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
Then he must take off his garments, put on
other clothes, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a
ceremonially clean place.
And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.
Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it is to be burned up. As for any
other meat,
anyone who is
ceremonially clean may eat it.
And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is
torn with beasts, may be used in any
other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.
The fat of an animal found dead or
mauled by wild beasts may be used for any
other purpose, but you must not eat it.
And he brought the
other ram, the ram of
consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
After that, Moses presented the
other ram, the ram of
ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
All
other flying insects that have four legs are
detestable to you.
And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the
other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an
atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
But if she cannot afford a lamb, she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the
other for a sin offering. Then the priest will make
atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”
But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
But if the priest examines it and there is no white hair in the spot, and it is not beneath the skin but has
faded, the priest shall
isolate him for seven days.
And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
and two turtledoves or two young pigeons,
whichever he can afford, one to be a sin offering and the
other a burnt offering.
Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the
other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him that is to be
cleansed before the LORD.
one as a sin offering and the
other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement before the LORD for the one to be
cleansed.
And they shall take
other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take
other morter, and shall
plaister the house.
So different stones must be obtained to replace the
contaminated ones, as well as additional mortar to replaster the house.
And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the
other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the
other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for the man before the LORD because of his discharge.
And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
When a woman has a discharge of her blood for many days at a time
other than her
menstrual period, or if it continues beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean discharge, just as she is during the days of her
menstruation.
And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the
other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
The priest is to sacrifice one as a sin offering and the
other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for her before the LORD for her unclean discharge.
And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the
other lot for the
scapegoat.
After Aaron casts lots for the two goats, one for the LORD and the
other for the
scapegoat,
Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to
vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the
other in her life time.
You must not take your wife’s sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is still alive.
But I have said unto you, Ye shall
inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from
other people.
But I have told you that you will
inherit their land, since I will give it to you as an inheritance—a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the LORD your God, who has set you apart from the peoples.
And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
You are to be holy to Me because I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be My own.
If the priest’s daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
If the priest’s daughter is married to a man other than a priest, she is not to eat of the sacred contributions.
Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a
blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. Just as he injured the other person, the same must be inflicted on him.
And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour’s hand, ye shall not
oppress one another:
If you make a sale to your
neighbor or a purchase from him, you must not take advantage of each
other.
Ye shall not therefore
oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.
Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God; for I am the LORD your God.
And as a yearly
hired servant shall he be with him: and the
other shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight.
He shall be treated like a man
hired from year to year, but a foreign owner must not rule over him harshly in your sight.
Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
“Do not number the tribe of Levi in the census with the other Israelites.
But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
But the Levites were not counted among the other Israelites, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall
appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
All the service of the Gershonites—all their transport duties and
other work—is to be done at the direction of Aaron and his sons; you are to
assign to them all that they are responsible to carry.
And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have
lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the
curse:
And he is to put the woman under oath and say to her, ‘If no
other man has
slept with you and you have not gone
astray and become
defiled while under your husband’s authority, may you be
immune to this bitter water that brings a
curse.
But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be
defiled, and some man have
lain with thee beside thine husband:
And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the
other for a burnt offering, and make an
atonement for him, for that he
sinned by the dead, and shall
hallow his head that same day.
And the priest is to offer one as a sin offering and the
other as a burnt offering to make
atonement for him, because he has
sinned by being in the presence of the dead body. On that day he must
consecrate his head again.
And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the
other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an
atonement for the Levites.
And the Levites are to lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and offer to the LORD one as a sin offering and the
other as a burnt offering, to make
atonement for the Levites.
And those men said unto him, We are
defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
and said to Moses, “We are unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be excluded from presenting the LORD’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?”
And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
Then the Kohathites set out, transporting the holy objects; the tabernacle was to be set up before their arrival.
And the
mixt multitude that was among them fell a
lusting: and the children of Israel also
wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
Meanwhile, the
rabble among them had a strong
craving for
other food, and again the Israelites
wept and said, “Who will feed us meat?
But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was
Eldad, and the name of the
other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they
prophesied in the camp.
Two men, however, had remained in the camp—one named
Eldad and the
other Medad—and the Spirit rested on them. They were among those listed, but they had not gone out to the tent, and they
prophesied in the camp.
And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
Now a wind sent by the LORD came up, drove in
quail from the sea, and brought them near the camp, about two cubits above the surface of the ground, for a day’s journey in every direction around the camp.
And he called the name of that place
Kibroth-hattaavah: because there they buried the people that
lusted.
So they called that place
Kibroth-hattaavah, because there they buried the people who had
craved other food.
From thence they removed, and pitched on the
other side of
Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the
Amorites: for
Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the
Amorites.
From there they moved on and camped on the
other side of the
Arnon, in the wilderness that extends into the Amorite territory. Now the
Arnon is the border between the Moabites and the
Amorites.
And Balak sent yet again princes, more, and more honourable than they.
Then Balak sent other princes, more numerous and more distinguished than the first messengers.
Now therefore, I pray you,
tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me more.
So now, please stay here overnight as the others did, that I may find out what else the LORD has to tell me.”
And when
Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to
bless Israel, he went not, as at
other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
And when
Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to
bless Israel, he did not resort to
sorcery as on previous occasions, but he turned his face toward the wilderness.
And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
The
registration of the Levites totaled 23,000, every male a month old or more; they were not numbered among the
other Israelites, because no inheritance was given to them among the Israelites.
The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;
Offer one lamb in the morning and the
other at
twilight,
And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
And offer the second lamb at
twilight, with the same grain offering and drink offering as in the morning. It is an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the
beeves, of the
asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
From the Israelites’ half, take one out of every fifty, whether persons, cattle,
donkeys, sheep, or
other animals, and give them to the Levites who keep charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.”
And
Nebo, and
Baal-meon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave
other names unto the cities which they builded.
as well as
Nebo and
Baal-meon (whose names were changed), and Sibmah. And they renamed the cities they rebuilt.
And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.
The cities will be for them to live in, and the pasturelands will be for their herds, their flocks, and all their
other livestock.
And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall
appoint for the
manslayer, that he may
flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities.
Six of the cities you give the Levites are to be appointed as cities of refuge, to which a
manslayer may
flee. In addition to these, give the Levites forty-two
other cities.
And if they be married to any of the sons of the
other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe
whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
But if they marry any of the men from the
other tribes of Israel, their inheritance will be withdrawn from the portion of our fathers and added to the tribe into which they marry. So our
allotted inheritance would be taken away.
For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?
Indeed, ask now from one end of the heavens to the other about the days that long preceded you, from the day that God created man on earth: Has anything as great as this ever happened or been reported?
Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.
You were shown these things so that you would know that the LORD is God; there is no other besides Him.
Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
Know therefore this day and take to heart that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.
Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
You shall have no other gods before Me.
Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you.
(For the LORD thy God is a
jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be
kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
For the LORD your God, who is among you, is a
jealous God.
Otherwise the anger of the LORD your God will be
kindled against you, and He will
wipe you off the face of the earth.
For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve
other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be
kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
because they will turn your sons away from following Me to serve other gods. Then the anger of the LORD will burn against you, and He will swiftly destroy you.
The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
The LORD did not set His affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than the other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.
Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses in which to dwell,
And it shall be, if thou do at all
forget the LORD thy God, and walk after
other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I
testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
If you ever
forget the LORD your God and go after
other gods to worship and bow down to them, I
testify against you
today that you will surely perish.
Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he
hated them, he hath brought them out to
slay them in the wilderness.
Otherwise, those in the land from which You brought us out will say, ‘Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land He had promised them, and because He
hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.’
Take
heed to
yourselves, that your heart be not
deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve
other gods, and worship them;
But be careful that you are not
enticed to turn aside to worship and bow down to
other gods,
And a
curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after
other gods, which ye have not known.
but a
curse if you disobey the commandments of the LORD your God and turn aside from the path I command you
today by following
other gods, which you have not known.
Are they not on the
other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the
Canaanites, which dwell in the
champaign over against
Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?
Are not these mountains across the Jordan, west of the road toward the
sunset, in the land of the
Canaanites who live in the Arabah opposite
Gilgal near the Oak of Moreh?
And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
Present the meat and blood of your burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD your God. The blood of your other sacrifices must be poured out beside the altar of the LORD your God, but you may eat the meat.
And the sign or the wonder come to pass,
whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after
other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
and if the sign or wonder he has spoken to you comes about, but he says, “Let us follow other gods (which you have not known) and let us worship them,”
If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy
bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul,
entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve
other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you embrace, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (which neither you nor your fathers have known,
Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you,
nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the
other end of the earth;
the gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, whether from one end of the earth or the other),
Certain men, the children of
Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve
other gods, which ye have not known;
that wicked men have arisen from among you and have led the people of their city
astray, saying, “Let us go and serve
other gods” (which you have not known),
And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
and going to worship other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or moon or any of the host of heaven—which I have forbidden—
But the prophet, which shall
presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of
other gods, even that prophet shall die.
But if any prophet
dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or to speak in the name of
other gods, that prophet must be put to death.”
Lest the
avenger of the blood pursue the
slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and
slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he
hated him not in time past.
Otherwise, the
avenger of blood might pursue the
manslayer in a
rage, overtake him if the distance is great, and strike him dead though he did not deserve to die, since he did not intend any
harm.
If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another
hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the
hated; and if the
firstborn son be hers that was
hated:
If a man has two wives, one beloved and the
other unloved, and both bear him sons, but the unloved wife has the
firstborn son,
Do not charge your brother interest on money, food, or any
other type of
loan.
At his day thou shalt give him his
hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
You are to pay his wages each day before
sunset, because he is poor and depends on them.
Otherwise he may cry out to the LORD against you, and you will be guilty of sin.
And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
Do not turn aside to the right or to the left from any of the words I command you
today, and do not go after
other gods to serve them.
The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
The LORD will bring you and the king you
appoint to a nation neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will worship
other gods—gods of wood and stone.
And the LORD shall
scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the
other; and there thou shalt serve
other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
Then the LORD will
scatter you among all the nations, from one end of the earth to the
other, and there you will worship
other gods, gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known.
For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
They went and served other gods, and they worshiped gods they had not known—gods that the LORD had not given to them.
But if thine heart turn away, so that thou
wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship
other gods, and serve them;
But if your heart turns away and you do not
listen, but are drawn away to bow down to
other gods and worship them,
And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.
And on that day I will surely hide My face because of all the evil they have done by turning to other gods.
For when I shall have brought them into the land which I
sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and
waxen fat; then will they turn unto
other gods, and serve them, and
provoke me, and break my covenant.
When I have brought them into the land that I
swore to give their fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey, they will eat their fill and
prosper. Then they will turn to
other gods and worship them, and they will
reject Me and break My covenant.
For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the
Amorites, that were on the
other side Jordan, Sihon and
Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
For we have heard how the LORD dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and
Og, the two kings of the
Amorites across the Jordan, whom you devoted to destruction.
And Joshua said,
Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the
Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the
other side Jordan!
“O, Lord GOD,” Joshua said, “why did You ever bring this people across the Jordan to deliver us into the hand of the
Amorites to be destroyed? If only we had been content to stay on the
other side of the Jordan!
And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
“Why have you brought this trouble upon us?” said Joshua. “
Today the LORD will bring trouble upon you!” And all Israel stoned him to death. Then they stoned the
others and burned their bodies.
And the
other issued out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they
smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape.
Meanwhile, those in the
ambush came out of the city against them, and the men of
Ai were
trapped between the
Israelite forces on both sides. So Israel struck them down until no
survivor or
fugitive remained.
There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the
Hivites the inhabitants of
Gibeon: all
other they took in battle.
No city made peace with the Israelites except the
Hivites living in
Gibeon; all
others were taken in battle.
Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel
smote, and possessed their land on the
other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river
Arnon unto mount
Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
Now these are the kings of the land whom the Israelites struck down and whose lands they took beyond the Jordan to the east, from the
Arnon Valley to Mount
Hermon, including all the Arabah eastward:
With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
The
other half of
Manasseh, along with the Reubenites and Gadites, had received the inheritance Moses had given them beyond the Jordan to the east, just as Moses the servant of the LORD had assigned to them:
Balaam also the son of Beor, the
soothsayer, did the children of Israel
slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
The Israelites also killed the diviner
Balaam son of Beor along with the
others they put to the sword.
And in the valley, Beth-
aram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of
Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the
other side Jordan eastward.
and in the valley, Beth-haram, Beth-nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, with the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of
Heshbon (the territory on the east side of the Jordan up to the edge of the Sea of Chinnereth).
These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the
other side Jordan, by
Jericho, eastward.
These were the portions Moses had given them on the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan, east of
Jericho.
For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe on the other side Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave none inheritance among them.
For Moses had given the inheritance east of the Jordan to the other two and a half tribes. But he granted no inheritance among them to the Levites.
There was also a lot for the rest of the children of
Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of
Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the male children of
Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families.
So this
