And there was Mary Magdalene, and the
other Mary, sitting over against the
sepulchre.
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.
Command therefore that the
sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and
steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
So give the order that the tomb be secured until the third day.
Otherwise, His disciples may come and
steal Him away and tell the people He has risen from the dead. And this last
deception would be worse than the first.”

choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

otherwise they might turn and be
forgiven.’”

deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of
other things entering in,
choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
but the
worries of this life, the
deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for
other things come in and
choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

hundredfold.”

And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many
other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots,
brasen vessels, and of tables.
And on returning from the market, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many
other traditions for them to observe, including the washing of cups, pitchers, kettles, and couches for
dining.

others.

match the old.

other also. And if someone takes your
cloak, do not
withhold your

luxury are found in palaces.

others,

Then it goes and brings seven
other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there. And the final
plight of that man is worse than the first.”
But
woe unto you,
Pharisees! for ye
tithe mint and
rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the
other undone.
Woe to you
Pharisees! You pay
tithes of
mint,
rue, and every
herb, but you disregard justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former.

others they will
persecute.’
When thou goest with thine
adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give
diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he
hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
Make every effort to
reconcile with your
adversary while you are on your way to the magistrate.
Otherwise, he may
drag you off to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and the officer may throw you into prison.
And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
To this He replied, “Do you think that these
Galileans were worse sinners than all the

Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and
slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam
collapsed on them: Do you think that they were more sinful than all the
others living in Jerusalem?
Then said he also to him that
bade him, When thou makest a
dinner or a
supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy
kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also
bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
Then Jesus said to the man who had invited Him, “When you host a
dinner or a
banquet, do not
invite your friends or brothers or relatives or rich neighbors.
Otherwise, they may
invite you in return, and you will be repaid.
Lest
haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to
mock him,
Otherwise, if he lays the foundation and is unable to finish the work,
everyone who sees it will
ridicule him,
Or else, while the
other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an
ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
And if he is unable, he will send a
delegation while the
other king is still far off, to ask for terms of peace.
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the
other; or else he will hold to the one, and
despise the
other. Ye cannot serve God and
mammon.
No servant can serve two masters. Either he will
hate the one and love the
other, or he will be devoted to the one and
despise the
other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten

For as the
lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the
other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
For just as the
lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the
other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.
I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left.
Two women shall be
grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the
other left.
Two women will be
grinding grain together: one will be taken and the
other left.”
Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and
despised others:
To some who trusted in their own righteousness and viewed others with contempt, He also told this parable:
Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a
Pharisee, and the
other a
publican.
“Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a
Pharisee and the
other a tax
collector.
The
Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I
thank thee, that I am not as
other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this
publican.
The
Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, ‘God, I
thank You that I am not like the
other men—swindlers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax
collector.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the
other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be
abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be
exalted.
I tell you, this man, rather than the
Pharisee, went home justified. For
everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be
exalted.”
He shall come and destroy these
husbandmen, and shall give the
vineyard to
others. And when they heard it, they said, God
forbid.
He will come and kill those tenants, and will give the
vineyard to
others.” And when the people heard this, they said, “May such a thing never happen!”

And there were also two others, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
Two others, who were criminals, were also led away to be executed with Jesus.
And when they were come to the place, which is called
Calvary, there they
crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the
other on the left.
When they came to the place called The Skull, they
crucified Him there, along with the criminals, one on His right and the
other on His left.
And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them
derided him, saying, He saved
others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
The people stood watching, and the rulers
sneered at Him, saying, “He saved
others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.”
But the
other one
rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same judgment?
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the
sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain
others with them.
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women came to the tomb, bringing the spices they had prepared.
And returned from the
sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
And when they returned from the tomb, they reported all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.
It was Mary Magdalene, and
Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and
other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
It was Mary Magdalene,
Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the
other women with them who told this to the apostles.
And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
They were talking with each other about everything that had happened.
And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us as He spoke with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
I sent you to
reap that
whereon ye bestowed no labour:
other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
I sent you to
reap what you have not worked for;
others have done the hard work, and now you have taken up their labor.”
After these things Jesus went over the sea of
Galilee, which is the sea of
Tiberias.
After this, Jesus crossed to the
other side of the Sea of
Galilee (that is, the Sea of
Tiberias).
The day following, when the people which stood on the
other side of the sea saw that there was none
other boat there, save that one
whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
The next day, the crowd that had remained on the other side of the sea realized that only one boat had been there, and that Jesus had not boarded it with His disciples, but they had gone away alone.
(
Howbeit there came
other boats from
Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given
thanks:)
However, some boats from
Tiberias landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given
thanks.
And when they had found him on the
other side of the sea, they said unto him,
Rabbi, when camest thou
hither?
When they found Him on the
other side of the sea, they asked Him, “
Rabbi, when did You get here?”
And there was much
murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man:
others said,
Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
Many in the crowds were
whispering about Him. Some said, “He is a good man.” But
others replied, “No, He deceives the people.”
Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of
Galilee?
Others declared, “This is the Christ.” But still
others asked, “How can the Christ come from
Galilee?
Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.
Some claimed that he was, but others said, “No, he just looks like him.” But the man kept saying, “I am the one.”
Therefore said some of the
Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day.
Others said, How can a man that is a
sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
Because of this, some of the
Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for He does not keep the Sabbath.” But
others said, “How can a sinful man perform such signs?” And there was division among them.
