spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither
doth God respect any
person: yet
doth he
devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.
For surely we will die and be like water poured out on the ground, which cannot be recovered. Yet God does not take away a life; but He devises ways that the banished one may not be cast out from Him.

hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to
Jezreel by to
morrow this time. Now the king’s sons, being seventy
persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.
Then
Jehu wrote them a second letter and said: “If you are on my side, and if you will obey me, then bring the heads of your master’s sons to me at
Jezreel by this time
tomorrow.” Now the sons of the king, seventy in all, were being brought up by the leading men of the city.
And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and
slew seventy
persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to

heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of
persons, nor taking of gifts.

partiality or
bribery.”

Passover lambs for every unclean
person to

Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king’s face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)

All the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that
whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden
sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.
“All the royal officials and the people of the king’s provinces know that one law applies to every man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned—that he be put to death. Only if the king extends the gold
scepter may that
person live. But I have not been summoned to appear before the king for the past thirty days.”

vile person is
contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own
hurt, and changeth not.

revise a costly oath,

Run ye to and
fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will
pardon it.

forgive the city.

person, which were found in the city; and the principal
scribe of the host, who
mustered the people of the land; and
threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
Of those still in the city, he took a court official who had been appointed over the men of war, as well as seven trusted royal advisers. He also took the

enlisted the people of the land, and sixty men who were found in the city.

pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have
compassion upon thee; but thou
wast cast out in the open field, to the
lothing of thy
person, in the day that thou
wast born.

compassion for you. Instead, you were thrown out into the open field, because you were
despised on the day of your birth.

watchman see the sword come, and blow not the
trumpet, and the people be not
warned; if the sword come, and take any
person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the
watchman’s hand.

And should not I
spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than
sixscore thousand
persons that cannot
discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
So should I not care about the great city of
Nineveh, which has more than 120,000 people who cannot tell their right hand from their left, and many cattle as well?”

lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy
person? saith the LORD of hosts.

lame and sick ones, is it not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you or show you favor?” asks the LORD of Hosts.
And now, I pray you,
beseech God that he will be
gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your
persons? saith the LORD of hosts.

And they sent out unto him their disciples with the
Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the
person of men.

Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that You are
honest and that You teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You seek favor from no one, because You pay no attention to external appearance.
When
Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a
tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just
person: see ye to it.

Pilate saw that he was
accomplishing nothing, but that instead a
riot was breaking out, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “You bear the
responsibility.”
And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

honest and seek favor from no one. Indeed, You are impartial and teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not? Should we pay them or not?”
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one
sinner that repenteth, more than over
ninety and nine just
persons, which need no
repentance.
In the same way, I tell you that there will be more joy in heaven over one
sinner who repents than over
ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to
repent.
And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:

Judas and
Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
Therefore we are sending
Judas and
Silas to tell you in
person the same things we are writing.
Therefore disputed he in the
synagogue with the Jews, and with the
devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
So he reasoned in the
synagogue with the Jews and God-fearing Gentiles, and in the marketplace with those he met each day.
For there is no respect of persons with God.
For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
For one person has faith to eat all things, while another, who is weak, eats only vegetables.
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
One
person regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully
convinced in his own mind.
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among
yourselves that wicked
person.
God will judge those outside. “
Expel the wicked man from among you.”
But if all
prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is
convinced of all, he is judged of all:
If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

thanks on our behalf for the favor shown us in answer to their prayers.

I was
personally unknown, however, to the churches of
Judea that are in Christ.
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (
whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s
person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
But as for the highly esteemed—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show
favoritism—those leaders added nothing to me.
For this ye know, that no
whoremonger, nor unclean
person, nor
covetous man, who is an
idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or
greedy person (that is, an
idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
And, ye masters, do the same things unto them,
forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of
persons with him.
And masters, do the same for your slaves. Give up your use of threats, because you know that He who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no
favoritism with Him.
Do not let
anyone who delights in false
humility and the worship of angels
disqualify you with speculation about what he has seen. Such a
person is
puffed up without basis by his unspiritual mind.
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
Brothers, although we were
torn away from you for a short time (in
person, not in heart), our desire to see you face to face was even more intense.
For whoremongers, for them that
defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for
perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave traders and liars and perjurers, and for
anyone else who is
averse to sound teaching
Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a beloved brother. He is especially beloved to me, but even more so to you, both in person and in the Lord.
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his
person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself
purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
The Son is the
radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided
purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
See to it that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like
Esau, who for a single meal sold his
birthright.
My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
My brothers, as you hold out your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, do not show
favoritism.
But if ye have respect to
persons, ye commit sin, and are
convinced of the law as transgressors.
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of
hell.
The tongue also is a fire, a world of wickedness among the parts of the body. It pollutes the whole
person, sets the course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by
hell.
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of
persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your
sojourning here in fear:
Since you call on a Father who judges each one’s work impartially, conduct
yourselves in
reverent fear during your stay as foreigners.
And
spared not the old world, but saved
Noah the eighth
person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
if He did not
spare the ancient world when He brought the flood on its ungodly people, but preserved
Noah, a preacher of righteousness, among the eight;
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of
persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and
godliness,
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct
yourselves in
holiness and
godliness For many deceivers are entered into the world, who
confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a
deceiver and an
antichrist.
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, refusing to
confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Any such
person is the
deceiver and the
antichrist.
For he that biddeth him God speed is
partaker of his evil deeds.
Whoever greets such a
person shares in his evil deeds.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
These men are discontented grumblers, following after their own lusts; their mouths
spew arrogance; they
flatter others for their own advantage.

And thou, Asia, that art
partaker of the hope of Babylon, and art the glory of her
person:
And they that occupy their
merchandise with
robbery, the more they deck their cities, their houses, their possessions, and their own
persons:
Thus shalt thou render them an evil reward; because they rebelled, and met not thy
person peaceably.
For, lo, it will be a shame for our
person, if we shall let such a woman go, not having had her company; for if we draw her not unto us, she will
laugh us to
scorn.
And take not only
thankfulness away from among men, but also lifted up with the glorious words of
lewd persons, that were never good, they think to escape the justice of God, that
seeth all things and hateth evil.
Had so far forth obtained the favour that we
shew toward every nation, as that he was called our father, and was continually honoured of all the next
person unto the king.
For he which is Lord over all shall fear no man’s
person, neither shall he stand in
awe of any man’s greatness: for he hath made the small and great, and careth for all alike.
For I thy servant and son of thine
handmaid am a feeble
person, and of a short time, and too young for the understanding of judgment and laws.
The master and the servant were punished after one manner; and like as the king, so suffered the common person.
Accept no person against thy soul, and let not the reverence of any man cause thee to fall.
Seek not to be judge, being not able to take away iniquity; lest at any time thou fear the person of the mighty, an stumblingblock in the way of thy uprightness.
Rise not up in anger at the presence of an injurious
person, lest he lie in wait to
entrap thee in thy words
