listen or pay attention to Me, declares the LORD.
So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am

Proclaim this word: This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘I am very
jealous for Jerusalem and
Zion,
Therefore
thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with
mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there My house will be rebuilt, declares the LORD of Hosts, and a measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem.’
Cry yet, saying,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort

whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not.

desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land
desolate.

desolate behind them so that no one could come or go.
Thus they turned the pleasant land into a
desolation.”

remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.

thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to
punish you, when your fathers
provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I
repented not:

disaster upon you when your fathers
provoked Me to anger, and I did not relent,” says the LORD of Hosts,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and
gladness, and
cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.

indignant forever.

weariness is it! and ye have
snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was
torn, and the
lame, and the sick;

You also say: ‘Oh, what a
nuisance!’ And you turn up your nose at it,” says the LORD of Hosts. “You bring offerings that are
stolen,
lame, or sick! Should I accept these from your hands?” asks the LORD.
And they said unto him, In
Bethlehem of Judaea: for

Bethlehem in
Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:

“Let it be so now,” Jesus replied. “It is fitting for us to
fulfill all righteousness in this way.” Then John permitted Him.
And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
he need not honor his father or mother with it.
Thus you
nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?”
Why
doth this man
thus speak blasphemies? who can
forgive sins but God only?
“Why does this man speak like this? He is
blaspheming! Who can
forgive sins but God alone?”
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.”
Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the
belly, and goeth out into the draught,
purging all meats?
because it does not enter his heart, but it goes into the stomach and then is
eliminated.” (

amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou

thank You that I am not like the other men—swindlers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax
collector.

betray Me.”

girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said,
Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this
girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own feet and hands, and said, “The Holy Spirit says: ‘In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and hand him over to the Gentiles.’”

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
For what the law was powerless to do in that it was
weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He
thus condemned sin in the flesh,
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me
thus?
But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, “Why did You make me like this?”
And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
and the secrets of his heart will be made known. So he will fall facedown and worship God,
proclaiming, “God is truly among you!”
When I therefore was
thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be
yea yea, and
nay nay?
When I
planned this, did I do it
carelessly? Or do I make my plans by human standards, so as to say “
Yes,
yes” when I really mean “No, no”?
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are
convinced that One died for all, therefore all died.
Having abolished in his flesh the
enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of
twain one new man, so making peace;
by
abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees. He did this to
create in Himself one new man out of the two,
thus making peace
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be
thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall
reveal even this unto you.
All of us who are
mature should embrace this point of view. And if you think differently about some issue, God will
reveal this to you as well.
Having
damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.
and
thus will
incur judgment because they are setting aside their first faith.
which some have professed and
thus swerved away from the faith. Grace be with you all.
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that
accompany salvation, though we
thus speak.
Even though we speak like this, beloved, we are
convinced of better things in your case—things that
accompany salvation.
That by two
immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong
consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged.
Now when these things were
thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle,

Neither by the blood of goats and
calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal
redemption for us.
He did not enter by the blood of goats and
calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood,
thus securing eternal
redemption.
And
thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of
jacinth, and
brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and
brimstone.
Now the horses and riders in my vision looked like this: The riders had breastplates the colors of fire,
sapphire, and sulfur. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths proceeded fire, smoke, and sulfur.
And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and
wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged
thus.

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great
millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying,
Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
Then a mighty angel
picked up a stone the size of a great
millstone and cast it into the sea, saying: “With such violence the great city of Babylon will be cast down, never to be seen again.
And according to the several
dignities of the fathers, before the people, to offer to the Lord, as it is written in the book of Moses: and
thus did they in the morning.
Thus were the things that belonged to the sacrifices of the Lord accomplished in that day, that they might hold the
passover,
Saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of the Persians; The Lord of Israel, the most high Lord, hath made me king of the whole world,
And he said
thus, O ye men, how exceeding strong is wine! it causeth all men to
err that drink it:
O ye men, is not wine the strongest, that enforceth to do thus? And when he had so spoken, he held his peace.
O ye men, how can it be but women should be strong, seeing they do thus?
And
thus was the holy house finished in the three and
twentieth day of the month
Adar, in the sixth year of
Darius king of the Persians
Speak thou therefore unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord,
Thus saith the
Almighty Lord, Have I not prayed you as a father his sons, as a mother her daughters, and a
nurse her young babes,
Thus saith the Lord, I brought this people out of
bondage, and I gave them my commandments by menservants the prophets; whom they would not hear, but
despised my counsels.
Thus saith the Lord unto
Esdras, Tell my people that I will give them the kingdom of Jerusalem, which I would have given unto Israel.
Thus infirmity was made permanent; and the law (also) in the heart of the people with the
malignity of the root; so that the good departed away, and the evil abode still.
And I said, O Lord, thou spakest from the beginning of the creation, even the first day, and saidst thus; Let heaven and earth be made; and thy word was a perfect work.
Behold, Lord, I will go, as thou hast commanded me, and reprove the people which are present: but they that shall be born afterward, who shall
admonish them?
thus the world is set in darkness, and they that dwell therein are without light.
Like as they do yet this day unto my chosen, so will I do also, and
recompense in their
bosom.
Thus saith the Lord God;
Thus saith the great king, the lord of the whole earth, Behold, thou shalt go forth from my presence, and take with thee men that trust in their own strength, of
footmen an hundred and twenty thousand; and the number of horses with their riders twelve thousand.
Thus every man and women, and the little children, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, fell before the temple, and cast ashes upon their heads, and spread out their
sackcloth before the face of the Lord: also they put
sackcloth about the altar,
Thus shalt thou render them an evil reward; because they rebelled, and met not thy person
peaceably.
Thus all the company of Assur remained about them, both their
footmen,
chariots, and
horsemen, four and thirty days, so that all their vessels of water failed all the inhibitants of Bethulia.
