Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it
doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is
under heaven;
whereof I Paul am made a minister;
if indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of
understanding, to the acknowledgement of the

knit together in love, and filled with the full riches of complete
understanding, so that they may know the
mystery of God, namely Christ,

understanding neither what they say, nor
whereof they

If therefore perfection were by the
Levitical priesthood, (for
under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Now if perfection could have been attained through the
Levitical priesthood (for on this basis the people received the law), why was there still need for another priest to appear—one in the order of
Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron?
And for this cause he is the
mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions that were
under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

redeem them from the transgressions committed
under the first covenant.

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath
trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was
sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done
despite unto the Spirit of grace?
How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has
trampled on the Son of God,
profaned the blood of the covenant that
sanctified him, and
insulted the Spirit of grace?

under my
footstool:

Who is a wise man and

But above all things, my brethren,
swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your
yea be
yea; and your
nay,
nay; lest ye fall into
condemnation.

swear, not by heaven or earth or by any other oath. Simply let your “
Yes” be

under judgment.

brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they
understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
These men are like

blaspheme in matters they do not
understand, and like such creatures, they too will be destroyed.
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable
wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to
understand, which ignorant and unstable people
distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he hath reserved in

under darkness, bound for judgment on that great day.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and
under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power
forever and ever!”
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

trample the holy city for 42 months.

But
understand thou for
thyself, and seek out the glory for such as be like thee.

And I
beheld, and, lo, the feathers that were
under the wing thought to set up themselves and to have the rule.
And, behold, the head was turned with them that were with it, and did eat up the two feathers under the wing that would have reigned.
