But now that there are no further
opportunities for me in these regions, and since I have longed for many
years to visit you,
And

For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I
boast of you to them of
Macedonia, that
Achaia was ready a
year ago; and your zeal hath
provoked very many.

boasting to the Macedonians that since last
year you in

And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty
years after, cannot
disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
What I mean is this: The law that came 430
years later does not
revoke the covenant previously established by God, so as to
nullify the promise.

But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
But only the high priest entered the second room, and then only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
Nor did He enter heaven to offer Himself again and again, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered
year by
year continually make the comers
thereunto perfect.
For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come, not the
realities themselves. It can never, by the same sacrifices offered
year after
year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.
But in those sacrifices there is a
remembrance again made of sins every
year.
Instead, those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins,
By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;
By faith Moses, when he was grown, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to
envy?
Or do you think the Scripture says without reason that the Spirit He caused to dwell in us
yearns with
envy?
Go to now, ye that say, To day or to
morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a
year, and
buy and sell, and get gain:
Come now, you who say, “
Today or
tomorrow we will go to this or that city,
spend a
year there, carry on business, and make a profit.”

years,

deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years.
Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been
beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image, and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand
years.

And when the thousand

And they laid the foundation of the house of God in the first day of the second month, in the second
year after they were come to

accord setters forward of the business, labouring to advance the works in the house of God. So the workmen built the temple of the Lord.
