And it came to pass afterward, that David’s heart
smote him, because he had
cut off Saul’s
skirt.
Afterward, David’s conscience was
stricken because he had
cut off the corner of Saul’s
robe.
Moreover, my father, see,
yea, see the
skirt of thy
robe in my hand: for in that I
cut off the
skirt of thy
robe and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor
transgression in mine hand, and I have not
sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to take it.
See, my father, look at the corner of your
robe in my hand. For I
cut it off, but I did not kill you. See and know that there is no evil or rebellion in my hands. I have not
sinned against you, even though you are hunting me down to take my life.
Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD, that thou
wilt not
cut off my seed after me, and that thou
wilt not destroy my name out of my father’s house.
So now,
swear to me by the LORD that you will not
cut off my descendants or
wipe out my name from my father’s house.”
And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath
cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a
snare for my life, to cause me to die?
But the woman replied, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has killed the mediums and spiritists in the land. Why have you set a
trap to get me killed?”
And they
cut off his head, and
stripped off his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to
publish it in the house of their idols, and among the people.
They
cut off Saul’s head,
stripped off his
armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to
proclaim the news in the temples of their idols and among their people.
And David commanded his young men, and they
slew them, and
cut off their hands and their feet, and
hanged them up over the
pool in
Hebron. But they took the head of
Ish-bosheth, and buried it in the
sepulchre of
Abner in
Hebron.
So David commanded his young men, and they killed Rechab and Baanah. They
cut off their hands and feet and hung their bodies by the
pool in
Hebron, but they took the head of
Ish-bosheth and buried it in
Abner’s tomb in
Hebron.
And I was with thee
whithersoever thou wentest, and have
cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.
I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make for you a name like the greatest in the land.
Wherefore Hanun took David’s servants, and
shaved off the one half of their beards, and
cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them away.
So Hanun took David’s servants,
shaved off half of each man’s
beard,
cut off their garments at the hips, and sent them away.
And, behold, the whole family is risen against thine
handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that
smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his brother whom he
slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall
quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband neither name nor remainder upon the earth.
Now the whole clan has risen up against your
maidservant and said, ‘Hand over the one who struck down his brother, that we may put him to death for the life of the brother whom he killed. Then we will
cut off the heir as well!’ So they would
extinguish my one remaining
ember by not preserving my husband’s name or
posterity on the earth.”
For the king will hear, to deliver his
handmaid out of the hand of the man that would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.
For the king will hear and deliver his
maidservant from the hand of the man who would
cut off both me and my son from God’s inheritance.’
And when he
polled his head, (for it was at every year’s end that he
polled it: because the hair was heavy on him, therefore he
polled it:) he
weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the king’s weight.
And when he
cut the hair of his head—he
shaved it every year because his hair got so heavy—he would
weigh it out to be two hundred shekels, according to the royal standard.
Then said
Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog
curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.
Then
Abishai son of Zeruiah said to the king, “Why should this dead dog
curse my lord the king? Let me go over and
cut off his head!”
Then the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they
cut off the head of
Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out to
Joab. And he
blew a
trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to his tent. And
Joab returned to Jerusalem unto the king.
Then the woman went to all the people with her wise counsel, and they
cut off the head of
Sheba son of Bichri and threw it to
Joab. So he
blew the ram’s horn and his men
dispersed from the city, each to his own home. And
Joab returned to the king in Jerusalem.
And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
and the king declared, “Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.”
Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her
bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise
slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
Then the woman whose son was alive spoke to the king because she
yearned with
compassion for her son. “Please, my lord,” she said, “give her the living
baby. Do not kill him!” But the other woman said, “He will be neither mine nor yours.
Cut him in two!”
Now therefore command thou that they
hew me
cedar trees out of
Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give
hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt
appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to
hew timber like unto the Sidonians.
Now therefore, order that cedars of
Lebanon be
cut down for me. My servants will be with your servants, and I will pay your servants whatever wages you set, for you know that there are none among us as skilled in
logging as the Sidonians.”
And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor
axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
The temple was constructed using finished stones
cut at the
quarry, so that no hammer or
chisel or any other iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.
All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of
hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the
coping, and so on the outside toward the great court.
All these buildings were constructed with costly stones,
cut to size and
trimmed with saws inside and out from the foundation to the
eaves, and from the outside to the great
courtyard.
And above were costly stones, after the measures of
hewed stones, and cedars.
Above these were high-
grade stones,
cut to size, and
cedar beams.
Then will I
cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have
hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a
proverb and a
byword among all people:
then I will
cut off Israel from the land that I have given them, and I will
banish from My presence this temple I have
sanctified for My Name. Then Israel will become an object of
scorn and
ridicule among all peoples.
(For six months did
Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had
cut off every male in
Edom:)
Joab and all Israel had stayed there six months, until he had killed every male in
Edom.
And this thing became sin unto the house of
Jeroboam, even to
cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
And this was the sin of the house of
Jeroboam that led to its
extermination and destruction from the face of the earth.
Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of
Jeroboam, and will
cut off from
Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the
remnant of the house of
Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.
Because of all this, behold, I am bringing
disaster on the house of
Jeroboam: I will
cut off from
Jeroboam every male, both slave and free, in Israel; I will burn up the house of
Jeroboam as one burns up dung until it is gone!
Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall
cut off the house of
Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.
Moreover, the LORD will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will
cut off the house of
Jeroboam. This is the day—
yes, even
today!
For it was so, when
Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that
Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and
hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)
for when
Jezebel had slaughtered the prophets of the LORD,
Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them, fifty men per cave, providing them with food and water.)
Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one
bullock for themselves, and
cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other
bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:
Get two bulls for us. Let the prophets of
Baal choose one bull for themselves,
cut it into pieces, and place it on the wood but not light the fire. And I will prepare the other bull and place it on the wood but not light the fire.
And they
cried aloud, and
cut themselves after their manner with
knives and lancets, till the blood
gushed out upon them.
So they
shouted louder and
cut themselves with
knives and lances, as was their custom, until the blood
gushed over them.
And he put the wood in order, and
cut the
bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.
Next, he arranged the wood, cut up the bull, placed it on the wood,
Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy
posterity, and will
cut off from
Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
This is what the LORD says: ‘I will bring
calamity on you and
consume your descendants; I will
cut off from
Ahab every male in Israel, both slave and free.
And ye shall
smite every
fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and
mar every good piece of land with stones.
And you shall attack every fortified city and every city of importance. You shall cut down every good tree, stop up every spring, and ruin every good field with stones.”
And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kir-haraseth left they the stones thereof;
howbeit the slingers went about it, and
smote it.
They destroyed the cities, and each man threw stones on every good field until it was covered. They stopped up every spring and
cut down every good tree. Only Kir-haraseth was left with stones in place, but men with
slings surrounded it and attacked it as well.
And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his
lap full, and came and
shred them into the pot of
pottage: for they knew them not.
One of them went out to the field to gather herbs, and he found a wild vine from which he gathered as many wild gourds as his garment could hold. Then he came back and
cut them up into the pot of
stew, though no one knew what they were.
So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.
So
Elisha went with them, and when they came to the Jordan, they began to
cut down some trees.
But as one was felling a beam, the
axe head fell into the water: and he
cried, and said,
Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
As one of them was
cutting down a tree, the iron
axe head fell into the water. “Oh, my master,” he
cried out, “it was borrowed!”
And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he
cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did
swim.
“Where did it fall?” asked the man of God. And when he showed him the place, the man of God
cut a stick, threw it there, and made the iron
float.
But
Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but
ere the
messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head? look, when the
messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?
Now
Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. The king sent a
messenger ahead, but before he arrived,
Elisha said to the elders, “Do you see how this murderer has sent someone to
cut off my head? Look, when the
messenger comes, shut the door to keep him out. Is not the sound of his master’s footsteps behind him?”
For the whole house of
Ahab shall perish: and I will
cut off from
Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:
The whole house of
Ahab will perish, and I will
cut off from
Ahab every male, both slave and free, in Israel.
In those days the LORD began to
cut Israel short: and
Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;
In those days the LORD began to reduce the size of Israel.
Hazael defeated the Israelites throughout their territory
And king
Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the
laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the
brasen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a
pavement of stones.
King
Ahaz also
cut off the frames of the movable stands and removed the bronze basin from each of them. He took down the Sea from the bronze oxen that were under it and put it on a stone base.
And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from
Cuthah, and from
Ava, and from
Hamath, and from
Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
Then the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon,
Cuthah, Avva,
Hamath, and
Sepharvaim and settled them in the towns of Samaria to replace the Israelites. They took possession of Samaria and lived in its towns.
And the men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of
Cuth made Nergal, and the men of
Hamath made Ashima,
The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, the men of
Cuth made Nergal, the men of
Hamath made Ashima,
He removed the high places, and
brake the images, and
cut down the groves, and
brake in pieces the
brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it
Nehushtan.
He removed the high places,
shattered the sacred pillars, and
cut down the Asherah poles. He also
demolished the bronze
snake called
Nehushtan that Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had burned incense to it.
At that time did
Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD, and from the pillars which
Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.
At that time
Hezekiah stripped the gold with which he had plated the doors and doorposts of the temple of the LORD, and he gave it to the king of Assyria.
By the messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my
chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of
Lebanon, and will
cut down the tall
cedar trees thereof, and the choice
fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his
Carmel.
Through your servants you have
taunted the Lord, and you have said: “With my many
chariots I have ascended to the heights of the mountains, to the remote peaks of
Lebanon. I have
cut down its tallest cedars, the finest of its
cypresses. I have reached its
farthest outposts, the densest of its forests.
And he
brake in pieces the images, and
cut down the groves, and filled their places with the bones of men.
He
smashed the sacred pillars to pieces,
cut down the Asherah poles, and covered the sites with human bones.
And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.
As the LORD had declared,
Nebuchadnezzar also carried off all the treasures from the house of the LORD and the royal palace, and he
cut into pieces all the gold articles that Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD.
And when they had
stripped him, they took his head, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry
tidings unto their idols, and to the people.
They
stripped Saul,
cut off his head, took his
armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to
proclaim the news in the temple of their idols and among their people.
And I have been with thee
whithersoever thou hast walked, and have
cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make for you a name like the greatest in the land.
Wherefore Hanun took David’s servants, and
shaved them, and
cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away.
So Hanun took David’s servants,
shaved their beards,
cut off their garments at the hips, and sent them away.
And he brought out the people that were in it, and
cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of
Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
David brought out the people who were there and put them to work with saws, iron picks, and axes. And he did the same to all the
Ammonite cities. Then David and all his troops returned to Jerusalem.
Send me also
cedar trees,
fir trees, and
algum trees, out of
Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to
cut timber in
Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,
Send me also
cedar,
cypress, and
algum logs from
Lebanon, for I know that your servants have skill to
cut timber there. And indeed, my servants will work with yours
And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.
I will pay your servants, the woodcutters, 20,000 cors of ground wheat, 20,000 cors of barley, 20,000 baths of wine, and 20,000 baths of olive oil.”
And we will
cut wood out of
Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in flotes by sea to
Joppa; and thou shall carry it up to Jerusalem.
We will
cut logs from
Lebanon, as many as you need, and we will
float them to you as rafts by sea down to
Joppa. Then you can take them up to Jerusalem.”
For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and
brake down the images, and
cut down the groves:
He removed the foreign altars and high places,
shattered the sacred pillars, and
chopped down the Asherah poles.
And also concerning Maachah the mother of
Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an
idol in a
grove: and
Asa cut down her
idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the
brook Kidron.
And they buried him in his own
sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and
divers kinds of spices prepared by the
apothecaries’ art: and they made a very great burning for him.
And he was buried in the tomb that he had
cut out for himself in the City of David. They laid him on a
bier that was full of spices and various
blended perfumes; then they made a great fire in his honor.
And the destruction of
Ahaziah was of God by coming to
Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against
Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had
anointed to
cut off the house of
Ahab.
And Uzziah the king was a
leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a
leper; for he was
cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.
So King Uzziah was a
leper until the day of his death. He lived in
isolation,
leprous and
cut off from the house of the LORD, while his son Jotham had charge of the royal palace to
govern the people of the land.
And
Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and
cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
Then
Ahaz gathered up the articles of the house of God,
cut them into pieces, shut the doors of the house of the LORD, and set up altars of his own on every street corner in Jerusalem.
Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and
brake the images in pieces, and
cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and
Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
When all this had ended, the Israelites in attendance went out to the cities of Judah and broke up the sacred pillars,
chopped down the Asherah poles, and
tore down the high places and altars throughout Judah and Benjamin, as well as in Ephraim and
Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the Israelites returned to their cities, each to his own property.
And the LORD sent an angel, which
cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own
bowels slew him there with the sword.
and the LORD sent an angel who
annihilated every mighty man of
valor and every leader and commander in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he entered the temple of his god, some of his own sons struck him down with the sword.
And they
brake down the altars of
Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he
cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the
molten images, he
brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and
strowed it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
Then in his presence the altars of the Baals were
torn down, and he
cut to pieces the incense altars that were above them. He
shattered the Asherah poles, the carved idols, and the cast images,
crushed them to dust, and scattered them over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.
And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the
graven images into powder, and
cut down all the idols throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.
He
tore down the altars and Asherah poles,
crushed the idols to powder, and
cut to pieces all the incense altars throughout the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.
With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expences be given out of the king’s house:
with three layers of cut stones and one of timbers. The costs are to be paid from the royal treasury.
Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
Consider now, I
plead: Who, being innocent, has ever perished? Or where have the upright been destroyed?
Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
that God would be willing to
crush me, to
unleash His hand and
cut me off!
Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not
cut down, it withereth before any other
herb.
While the shoots are still uncut, they dry up quicker than grass.
Whose hope shall be
cut off, and whose trust shall be a
spider’s web.
If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
If He comes along to imprison you, or convenes a court, who can stop Him?
He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
Like a flower, he comes forth, then
withers away; like a fleeting shadow, he does not
endure.
For there is hope of a tree, if it be
cut down, that it will
sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
For there is hope for a tree: If it is
cut down, it will
sprout again, and its tender shoots will not fail.
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
The roots beneath him dry up, and the branches above him wither away.
For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?
For what does he care about his household after him, when the number of his months has run out?
Which were
cut down out of time, whose foundation was
overflown with a flood:
They were
snatched away before their time, and their foundations were swept away by a flood.
Whereas our substance is not
cut down, but the
remnant of them the fire consumeth.
‘Surely our foes are destroyed, and fire has consumed their excess.’
Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
Yet I am not silenced by the darkness, by the thick darkness that covers my face.
They are
exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and
cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
They are
exalted for a moment, then they are gone; they are brought low and gathered up like all others; they are
cut off like heads of grain.
For what is the hope of the
hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?
The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
Far from human
habitation he
cuts a shaft in places forgotten by the foot of man. Far from men he dangles and sways.
He
cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye
seeth every precious thing.
He hews out channels in the rocks, and his eyes spot every
treasure.
Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
Do not long for the night, when people
vanish from their homes.
Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the
lightning of
thunder;
Who
cuts a channel for the flood or clears a path for the
thunderbolt,
The LORD shall
cut off all
flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
For I said in my
haste, I am
cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I
cried unto thee.
In my
alarm I said, “I am
cut off from Your sight!” But You heard my
plea for mercy when I called to You for help.
The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to
cut off the
remembrance of them from the earth.
But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to
wipe out all memory of them from the earth.
For they shall soon be
cut down like the grass, and wither as the green
herb.
For they wither quickly like grass and
wilt like tender plants.
For evildoers shall be
cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall
inherit the earth.
For the evildoers will be
cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will
inherit the land.
For such as be blessed of him shall
inherit the earth; and they that be
cursed of him shall be
cut off.
Surely those He blesses will
inherit the land, but the
cursed will be destroyed.
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
For the LORD loves justice and will not
forsake His saints. They are preserved
forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be
cut off.
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall
exalt thee to
inherit the land: when the wicked are
cut off, thou shalt see it.
Wait for the LORD and keep His way, and He will raise you up to
inherit the land. When the wicked are
cut off, you will see it.
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
But the transgressors will all be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off.
He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and
cutteth the
spear in
sunder; he burneth the
chariot in the fire.
He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and
shatters the
spear; He burns the shields in the fire.
He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them.
Let them
melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as
cut in pieces.
May they
vanish like water that runs off; when they draw the bow, may their arrows be
blunted.
He shall come down like rain upon the
mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
May he be like rain that falls on freshly cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.
All the horns of the wicked also will I
cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be
