sumptuously every
day:

day in
joyous splendor.
And it came to pass, that the
beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s
bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
One
day the
beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. And the rich man also died and was buried.
And if he
trespass against thee seven times in a
day, and seven times in a
day turn again to thee, saying, I
repent; thou shalt
forgive him.
Even if he sins against you seven times in a
day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I
repent,’ you must
forgive him.”
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not seeit.

For as the
lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his
day.
For just as the
lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His
day.
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Just as it was in the
days of
Noah, so also will it be in the
days of the Son of Man:
They did eat, they
drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the
day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the
day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the
days of Lot; they did eat, they
drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
It was the same in the
days of Lot: People were eating and drinking,
buying and selling, planting and building.
But the same
day that Lot went out of
Sodom it rained fire and
brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
But on the
day Lot left
Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
On that
day, let no one on the housetop come down to
retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind.
And shall not God
avenge his own
elect, which cry
day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
Will not God bring about justice for His
elect who cry out to Him
day and night? Will He continue to
defer their help?
And they shall
scourge him, and put him to death: and the third
day he shall rise again.
They will
flog Him and kill Him, and on the third
day He will rise again.”
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make
haste, and come down; for to
day I must

hurry down, for I must stay at your house
today.”

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy
day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are
hid from thine eyes.

For the
days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a
trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
For the
days will come upon you when your enemies will
barricade you and
surround you and
hem you in on every side.
And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the
scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

day, but the chief priests,
scribes, and leaders of the people were intent on killing Him.

days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the
scribes came upon him with the elders,

proclaiming the gospel, the chief priests and
scribes, together with the elders, came up to Him.
As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
“As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
For these be the
days of
vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
But
woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give
suck, in those
days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
How
miserable those
days will be for
pregnant and
nursing mothers! For there will be great distress upon the land and wrath against this people.
And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the
cock shall not

day, before that thou shalt

When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on Me. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”
And as soon as it was
day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the
scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
At
daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and
scribes, met together. They led Jesus into their
Sanhedrin and said,
And the same
day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at
enmity between themselves.
That
day Herod and
Pilate became friends; before this time they had been enemies.
For, behold, the
days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave
suck.
Look, the
days are coming when people will say, ‘Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore, and breasts that never
nursed!’
And Jesus said unto him,
Verily I say unto thee, To
day shalt thou be with me in
paradise.

today you will be with Me in

It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was beginning.
And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
Then they returned to prepare spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath, according to the commandment.
Now upon the first
day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the
sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in recent
days?”
But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
But we were hoping He was the One who would
redeem Israel. And besides all this, it is the third
day since these things took place.
But they
constrained him, saying,
Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the
day is far spent. And he went in to
tarry with them.
But they
pleaded with Him, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening and the
day is almost over.” So He went in to stay with them.

The next
day John
seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

After this he went down to

days.
After this, He went down to
Capernaum with His mother and brothers and His disciples, and they stayed there a few
days.

passover, in the feast
day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

So when the
Samaritans were come unto him, they
besought him that he would
tarry with them: and he abode there two
days.

days.
Now after two
days he departed thence, and went into

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
Immediately the man was made well, and he
picked up his mat and began to walk. Now this happened on the Sabbath
day,
The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
so the Jews said to the man who had been
healed, “This is the Sabbath! It is unlawful for you to carry your mat.”
And therefore did the Jews
persecute Jesus, and sought to
slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath
day.
Now because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews began to
persecute Him.
But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
But Jesus answered them, “To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working.”
The
day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one
whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
The next day, the crowd that had remained on the other side of the sea realized that only one boat had been there, and that Jesus had not boarded it with His disciples, but they had gone away alone.
And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which
seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have
everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last
day.
For it is My Father’s will that
everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last
day.”
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

day.
Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last
day.
Moses therefore gave unto you
circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath
day circumcise a man.
But because Moses gave you
circumcision, you
circumcise a boy on the Sabbath (not that it is from Moses, but from the patriarchs.)
If a man on the sabbath
day receive
circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye
angry at me, because I have made a man every
whit whole on the sabbath
day?
If a boy can be
circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses will not be broken, why are you
angry with Me for making the whole man well on the Sabbath?
In the last
day, that great
day of the feast, Jesus stood and

rejoiced to see my
day: and he saw it, and was

When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
So on hearing that
Lazarus was sick, He stayed where He was for two
days,
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the
day? If any man walk in the
day, he stumbleth not, because he
seeth the light of this world.
Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of
daylight? If
anyone walks in the
daytime, he will not
stumble, because he sees by the light of this world.

day.

day.”
Jesus said, Take ye away the stone.
Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four
days.
“Take away the stone,” Jesus said. “Lord, by now he stinks,” said
Martha, the sister of the dead man. “It has already been four
days.”
Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
So from that
day on they
plotted to kill Him.
Then Jesus six
days before the
passover came to
Bethany, where

Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not receive My words: The word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.
And in that
day ye shall ask me nothing.
Verily,
verily, I say unto you,
Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.
At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
In that day you will ask in My name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.
And it was the preparation of the
passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
It was the
day of Preparation for the
Passover, about the sixth hour. And
Pilate said to the Jews, “Here is your King!”
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath
day, (for that sabbath
day was an high
day,)
besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
It was the
day of Preparation, and the next
day was a High Sabbath. In order that the bodies would not remain on the cross during the Sabbath, the Jews asked
Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies removed.
There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews’ preparation
day; for the
sepulchre was
nigh at hand.
And because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and the tomb was nearby, they placed Jesus there.
The first
day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the
sepulchre, and
seeth the stone taken away from the
sepulchre.
Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
Eight days later, His disciples were once again inside with the doors locked, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

until the day He was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen.
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
After His suffering, He presented Himself to them with many
convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a span of forty
days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
For John truly
baptized with water; but ye shall be
baptized with the Holy Ghost not many
days hence.
For John
baptized with water, but in a few
days you will be
baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (a gathering of about a hundred and twenty) and said,
Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
beginning from John’s baptism until the day Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.”

drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the
day.
These men are not
drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the
day!
And it shall come to pass in the last
days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
‘In the last
days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will
prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those
days of my Spirit; and they shall
prophesy:
Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those
days, and they will
prophesy.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his
sepulchre is with us unto this
day.
Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
Then they that
gladly received his word were
baptized: and the same
day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Those who embraced his message were
baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that
day.
And a certain man
lame from his mother’s
womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask
alms of them that entered into the temple;
And a man who was
lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every
day to
beg from those entering the temple courts.
