And Bezaleel the son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD commanded Moses.
Bezalel son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made
everything that the LORD had commanded Moses.
All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place,
even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the
shekel of the sanctuary.
All the gold from the wave offering used for the work on the sanctuary totaled 29 talents and 730 shekels, according to the sanctuary
shekel.
A
bekah for
every man, that is, half a
shekel, after the
shekel of the sanctuary, for
every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.
a beka per person, that is, half a
shekel, according to the sanctuary
shekel, from
everyone twenty years of age or older who had crossed over to be numbered, a total of 603,550 men.
And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a
signet,
every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.
The twelve stones corresponded to the names of the sons of Israel. Each stone was engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.
Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
So all the work for the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
The pure
candlestick, with the lamps thereof,
even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
the pure gold lampstand with its row of lamps and all its utensils, as well as the oil for the light;
And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they have done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.
And Moses
inspected all the work and saw that they had accomplished it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
And thou shalt take the
anointing oil, and
anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt
hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
Take the
anointing oil and
anoint the tabernacle and
everything in it;
consecrate it along with all its furnishings, and it shall be holy.
And thou shalt
anoint them, as thou
didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their
anointing shall surely be an
everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
Anoint them just as you
anointed their father, so that they may also serve Me as priests. Their
anointing will
qualify them for a permanent priesthood throughout their generations.”
Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
Moses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle,
even of the
herd, and of the flock.
“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the LORD, you may bring as your offering an animal from the
herd or the flock.
And
every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
And you shall season each of your grain offerings with salt. You must not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offering; you are to add salt to each of your offerings.
And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer
crushed heads of new grain
roasted on the fire.
And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from his offering he shall present an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
Even the whole
bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
all the rest of the bull—he must take outside the camp to a
ceremonially clean place where the ashes are poured out, and there he must burn it on a wood fire on the ash
heap.
And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and
sprinkle it seven times before the LORD,
even before the
vail.
and he is to dip his finger in the blood and
sprinkle it seven times before the LORD in front of the
veil.
Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a
carcase of an unclean beast, or a
carcase of unclean cattle, or the
carcase of unclean
creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
Or if a person touches anything unclean—whether the
carcass of any unclean wild animal or
livestock or
crawling creature—
even if he is unaware of it, he is unclean and guilty.
Or if he touch the uncleanness of man,
whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be
defiled withal, and it be
hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
Or if he touches human uncleanness—anything by which one becomes unclean—even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty.
Or if a soul
swear,
pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good,
whatsoever it be that a man shall
pronounce with an oath, and it be
hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
Or if someone swears
thoughtlessly with his lips to do anything good or evil—in whatever matter a man may
rashly pronounce an oath—
even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty in the matter.
Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it,
even a
memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
He is to bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful from it as a
memorial portion and burn it on the altar
atop the offerings made by fire to the LORD; it is a sin offering.
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he
wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
If someone sins and
violates any of the LORD’s commandments
even though he was unaware, he is guilty and shall bear his punishment.
Or all that about which he hath
sworn falsely; he shall
even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more
thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his
trespass offering.
or anything else about which he has
sworn falsely. He must make
restitution in full, add a fifth of the value, and pay it to the owner on the day he acknowledges his guilt.
And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it
every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn
thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
The fire on the altar shall be kept burning; it must not be
extinguished.
Every morning the priest is to add wood to the fire, arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn the fat portions of the peace offerings on it.
The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
The fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not be
extinguished.
And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the
frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour,
even the
memorial of it, unto the LORD.
The priest is to remove a handful of fine flour and olive oil, together with all the
frankincense from the grain offering, and burn the
memorial portion on the altar as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.
Any male among the sons of Aaron may eat it. This is a permanent portion from the offerings made by fire to the LORD for the generations to come. Anything that touches them will become holy.”
This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is
anointed; the tenth part of an
ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.
“This is the offering that Aaron and his sons must present to the LORD on the day he is
anointed: a tenth of an
ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the
evening.
And the priest of his sons that is
anointed in his
stead shall offer it: it is a statute for
ever unto the LORD, it shall be wholly burnt.
The priest, who is one of Aaron’s sons and will be
anointed to take his place, is to prepare it. As a permanent portion for the LORD, it must be burned completely.
For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.
Every grain offering for a priest shall be burned completely; it is not to be eaten.”
Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.
Every male among the priests may eat of it. It must be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.
And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.
As for the priest who presents a burnt offering for
anyone, the hide of that offering belongs to him.
And all the meat offering that is
baken in the
oven, and all that is dressed in the
fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest’s that offereth it.
Likewise,
every grain offering that is
baked in an
oven or
cooked in a pan or on a
griddle belongs to the priest who presents it,
And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.
and every grain offering, whether dry or mixed with oil, belongs equally to all the sons of Aaron.
But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that
pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him,
even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
But if
anyone who is unclean eats meat from the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.
Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any
abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which
pertain unto the LORD,
even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
If one touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any unclean,
detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.”
For
whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD,
even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
If
anyone eats the fat of an animal from which an offering made by fire may be presented to the LORD, the one who eats it must be cut off from his people.
Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood,
even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
If
anyone eats blood, that person must be cut off from his people.’”
For the wave breast and the
heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for
ever from among the children of Israel.
I have taken from the sons of Israel the breast of the wave offering and the
thigh of the contribution of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as a permanent portion from the sons of Israel.’”
Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he
anointed them, by a statute for
ever throughout their generations.
On the day they were
anointed, the LORD commanded that this be given them by the sons of Israel. It is a permanent portion for the generations to come.
And he put the
mitre upon his head; also upon the
mitre,
even upon his
forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Moses also put the
turban on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the holy
diadem, on the front of the
turban, as the LORD had commanded him.
Next, Moses took the
anointing oil and
anointed the tabernacle and
everything in it; and so he consecrated them.
So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD had commanded through Moses.
Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
“You and your sons are not to drink wine or strong drink when you enter the Tent of Meeting, or else you will die; this is a permanent statute for the generations to come.
The
heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons’ with thee, by a statute for
ever; as the LORD hath commanded.
They are to bring the
thigh of the contribution and the breast of the wave offering, together with the fat portions of the offerings made by fire, to wave as a wave offering before the LORD. It will belong permanently to you and your children, as the LORD has commanded.”
And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an
abomination unto you:
But the following among all the
teeming life and creatures in the water are
detestable to you:
everything in the seas or streams that does not have fins and scales.
They shall be
even an
abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in
abomination.
Everything in the water that does not have fins and scales shall be
detestable to you.
Every raven after his kind;
Yet these may ye eat of
every flying
creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to
leap withal upon the earth;
However, you may eat the following kinds of flying insects that walk on all fours: those having jointed legs above their feet for
hopping on the ground.
And for these ye shall be unclean:
whosoever toucheth the
carcase of them shall be unclean until the
even.
These creatures will make you unclean.
Whoever touches their
carcasses will be unclean until
evening,
And
whosoever beareth ought of the
carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the
even.
and
whoever picks up one of their
carcasses must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean until
evening.
The carcases of
every beast which divideth the
hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the
cud, are unclean unto you:
every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
Every animal with
hooves not completely divided or that does not
chew the
cud is unclean for you.
Whoever touches any of them will be unclean.
And
whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you:
whoso toucheth their
carcase shall be unclean until the
even.
All the four-footed animals that walk on their paws are unclean for you;
whoever touches their
carcasses will be unclean until
evening,
And he that beareth the
carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the
even: they are unclean unto you.
and
anyone who picks up a
carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean until
evening. They are unclean for you.
These are unclean to you among all that
creep:
whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the
even.
These animals are unclean for you among all the
crawling creatures.
Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until
evening.
And upon
whatsoever any of them, when they are dead,
doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or
raiment, or skin, or
sack,
whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the
even; so it shall be
cleansed.
When one of them dies and falls on something, that article becomes unclean; any article of wood, clothing, leather,
sackcloth, or any
implement used for work must be
rinsed with water and will remain unclean until
evening; then it will be clean.
If any of them falls into a clay pot, everything in it will be unclean; you must break the pot.
Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be
drunk in
every such vessel shall be unclean.
Any food coming into contact with water from that pot will be unclean, and any drink in such a container will be unclean.
And
every thing
whereupon any part of their
carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether it be
oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
Anything upon which one of their
carcasses falls will be unclean. If it is an
oven or
cooking pot, it must be
smashed; it is unclean and will remain unclean for you.
And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the
carcase thereof shall be unclean until the
even.
If an animal that you may eat dies,
anyone who touches the
carcass will be unclean until
evening.
And he that eateth of the
carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the
even: he also that beareth the
carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the
even.
Whoever eats from the
carcass must wash his clothes and will be unclean until
evening, and
anyone who picks up the
carcass must wash his clothes and will be unclean until
evening.
And
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an
abomination; it shall not be eaten.
Every creature that moves along the ground is
detestable; it must not be eaten.
This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
This is the law regarding animals, birds, all living creatures that move in the water, and all creatures that
crawl along the ground.
And if a
leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the
leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head
even to his foot,
wheresoever the priest looketh;
But if the skin disease breaks out all over his skin so that it covers all the skin of the
infected person from head to foot, as far as the priest can see,
The flesh also, in which,
even in the skin thereof, was a
boil, and is
healed,
When a
boil appears on someone’s skin and it heals,
Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall
pronounce him unclean: it is a dry
scall,
even a
leprosy upon the head or
beard.
the priest shall examine the
infection, and if it appears to be deeper than the skin and the hair in it is yellow and thin, the priest must
pronounce him unclean; it is a
scaly outbreak, an
infectious disease of the head or
chin.
If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
When a man or a woman has white spots on the skin,
And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is
fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.
After it has been washed, the priest is to reexamine it, and if the
mildewed article has not changed in appearance, it is unclean.
Even though the
mildew has not spread, you must burn it, whether the
rot is on the front or back.
But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall
shave all his hair off his head and his
beard and his eyebrows,
even all his hair he shall
shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
On the seventh day he must
shave off all his hair—his head, his
beard, his eyebrows, and the rest of his hair. He must wash his clothes and
bathe himself with water, and he will be clean.
Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him that is to be
cleansed before the LORD.
one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement before the LORD for the one to be
cleansed.
Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.
Anyone who enters the house during any of the days that it is closed up will be unclean until
evening.
Every bed,
whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and
every thing,
whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
Any bed on which the man with the discharge lies will be unclean, and any furniture on which he sits will be unclean.
And
whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And he that sitteth on any thing
whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
Whoever sits on furniture on which the man with the discharge was sitting must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
Whoever touches the body of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And if he that hath the issue
spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
If the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, that person must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And
whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the
even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until
evening, and
whoever carries such things must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And
whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not
rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
If the man with the discharge touches
anyone without first
rinsing his hands with water, the one who was touched must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and
every vessel of wood shall be
rinsed in water.
Any clay pot that the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden
utensil must be
rinsed with water.
And if any man’s seed of
copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the
even.
When a man has an
emission of
semen, he must
bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And
every garment, and
every skin,
whereon is the seed of
copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the
even.
Any clothing or leather on which there is an
emission of
semen must be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until
evening.
The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of
copulation, they shall both
bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the
even.
If a man lies with a woman and there is an
emission of
semen, both must
bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until
evening.
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and
whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the
even.
When a woman has a discharge consisting of blood from her body, she will be unclean due to her
menstruation for seven days, and
anyone who touches her will be unclean until
evening.
And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
Anything on which she lies or sits during her
menstruation will be unclean,
And
whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
and
anyone who touches her bed must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And
whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
Whoever touches any furniture on which she was sitting must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And if it be on her bed, or on any thing
whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the
even.
And whether it is a bed or furniture on which she was sitting,
whoever touches it will be unclean until
evening.
Every bed
whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and
whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
Any bed on which she lies or any furniture on which she sits during the days of her discharge will be unclean, like her bed during her
menstrual period.
And
whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
Anyone who touches these things will be unclean; he must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening.
And this shall be a statute for
ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall
afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
This is to be a permanent statute for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month, you shall humble
yourselves and not do any work—whether the native or the foreigner who resides among you—
It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall
afflict your souls, by a statute for
ever.
It is a Sabbath of complete rest for you, that you may humble
yourselves; it is a permanent statute.
And the priest, whom he shall
anoint, and whom he shall
consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s
stead, shall make the
atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes,
even the holy garments:
The priest who is
anointed and ordained to succeed his father as high priest shall make
atonement. He will put on the sacred linen garments
And this shall be an
everlasting statute unto you, to make an
atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.
This is to be a permanent statute for you, to make
atonement once a year for the Israelites because of all their sins.” And all this was done as the LORD had commanded Moses.
To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
For this reason the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they have been offering in the open fields. They are to bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and offer them as sacrifices of peace to the LORD.
And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a
whoring. This shall be a statute for
ever unto them throughout their generations.
They must no longer offer their sacrifices to the goat demons to which they have
prostituted themselves. This will be a permanent statute for them for the generations to come.’
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
but does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD, that man must be cut off from his people.
And
whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that
sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will
even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
If
anyone from the house of Israel or a foreigner living among them eats any blood, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from among his people.
And
whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that
sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall
even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
And if any
Israelite or foreigner living among them hunts down a wild animal or bird that may be eaten, he must
drain its blood and cover it with
dirt.
And
every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was
torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even: then shall he be clean.
And any person, whether native or foreigner, who eats anything found dead or
mauled by wild beasts must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until
evening; then he will be clean.
