heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said,
Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
And I
heard the voice of a man calling from between the banks of the Ulai: “
Gabriel, explain the vision to this man.”
Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
I
heard the sound of his words, and as I
listened, I fell into a deep sleep, with my face to the ground.
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou
didst set thine heart to understand, and to
chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were
heard, and I am come for thy words.

yourself before your God, your words were
heard, and I have come in
response to them.
And I
heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and
sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to
scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
And the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I
heard him
swear by Him who lives
forever, saying, “It will be for a time, and times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people has finally been
shattered, all these things will be completed.”
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will
chastise them, as their congregation hath
heard.

chastise them when I hear them flocking together.
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have
heard him, and observed him: I am like a green
fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

cypress; your fruit comes from Me.
The vision of
Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning
Edom; We have
heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
This is the vision of
Obadiah: This is what the Lord GOD says about
Edom— We have
heard a message from the LORD; an
envoy has been sent among the nations to say, “Rise up, and let us go to battle against her!”—

belly of
Sheol I called for help, and You
heard my voice.
I will take
vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations that have not obeyed Me.”
Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her

chariots up in smoke, and the sword will
devour your young lions. I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voices of your messengers will no longer be

O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
O LORD, I have
heard the report of You; I stand in
awe, O LORD, of Your deeds. Revive them in these years; make them known in these years. In Your wrath, remember mercy!
When I
heard, my
belly trembled; my lips
quivered at the voice:
rottenness entered into my bones, and I
trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will
invade them with his troops.
I
heard and
trembled within; my lips
quivered at the sound. Decay entered my bones; I
trembled where I stood. Yet I must wait patiently for the day of distress to come upon the people who
invade us.
I have
heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of

taunted My people and threatened their borders.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the

Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have
heard that God is with you.

tightly grasp the
robe of a

listened and
heard them. So a

ahead of them until it stood over the place where the Child was.
