And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
And the LORD descended in a cloud, stood with him there, and proclaimed His name, the LORD.
And the
LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The
LORD, The
LORD God,
merciful and
gracious,
longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Then the
LORD passed in front of Moses and called out: “The
LORD, the
LORD God, is
compassionate and
gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion and faithfulness,
And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O
Lord, let my
Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and
pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
“O
Lord,” he said, “if I have indeed found favor in Your sight, my
Lord, please go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people,
forgive our iniquity and sin, and take us as Your inheritance.”
And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
And the
LORD said, “Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will perform wonders that have never been done in any nation in all the world. All the people among whom you live will see the
LORD’s work, for it is an
awesome thing that I am doing with you.
For thou shalt worship no other god: for the
LORD, whose name is
Jealous, is a
jealous God:
For you must not worship any other god, for the
LORD, whose name is
Jealous, is a
jealous God.
Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the
Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
For I will cast out the nations before thee, and
enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the
LORD thy God
thrice in the year.
For I will drive out the nations before you and
enlarge your borders, and no one will
covet your land when you go up three times a year to appear before the
LORD your God.
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the
LORD thy God. Thou shalt not
seethe a
kid in his mother’s milk.
Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the
LORD your God. You must not
cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”
And the
LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the
tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
The LORD also said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
So Moses was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount
Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses
wist not that the skin of his face
shone while he talked with him.
And when Moses came down from Mount
Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was unaware that his face had become
radiant from speaking with the
LORD.
And afterward all the children of Israel came
nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the
LORD had spoken with him in mount
Sinai.
And after this all the Israelites came near, and Moses commanded them to do everything that the
LORD had told him on Mount
Sinai.
But when Moses went in before the
LORD to speak with him, he took the
vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
But whenever Moses went in before the
LORD to speak with Him, he would remove the
veil until he came out. And when he came out, he would tell the Israelites what he had been commanded,
And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face
shone: and Moses put the
vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
and the Israelites would see that the face of Moses was
radiant. So Moses would put the
veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the
LORD.
And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
Then Moses assembled the whole congregation of Israel and said to them, “These are the things that the LORD has commanded you to do:
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the
LORD:
whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
For six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the
LORD.
Whoever does any work on that day must be put to death.
And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
Moses also told the whole congregation of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:
Take ye from among you an offering unto the
LORD:
whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the
LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,
Take from among you an offering to the
LORD. Let
everyone whose heart is willing bring an offering to the
LORD: gold, silver, and bronze;
And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;
Let every skilled
craftsman among you come and make everything that the
LORD has commanded:
And they came, every one whose heart
stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the
LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
And
everyone whose heart
stirred him and whose spirit
prompted him came and brought an offering to the
LORD for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its services, and for the holy garments.
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.
So all who had willing hearts, both men and women, came and brought brooches and earrings, rings and necklaces, and all kinds of gold
jewelry. And they all presented their gold as a wave offering to the
LORD.
Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the
LORD’S offering: and every man, with whom was found
shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
And all who could present an offering of silver or bronze brought it as a contribution to the
LORD. Also,
everyone who had
acacia wood for any part of the service brought it.
The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
So all the men and women of the Israelites whose hearts
prompted them brought a
freewill offering to the
LORD for all the work that the
LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.
And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the
LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the
LORD has called by name Bezalel son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of
Dan.
And the
LORD has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of
Dan, the ability to teach others.
Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
“So Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person are to carry out everything commanded by the LORD, who has given them skill and ability to know how to perform all the work of constructing the sanctuary.”
And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the
LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart
stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
Then Moses summoned Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person whom the
LORD had gifted—
everyone whose heart
stirred him to come and do the work.
And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD has commanded us to do.”
And Bezaleel the son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the
LORD commanded Moses.
Bezalel son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything that the
LORD had commanded Moses.
And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
From the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made specially
woven garments for ministry in the sanctuary, as well as the holy garments for Aaron, just as the
LORD had commanded Moses.
And the curious
girdle of his
ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine
twined linen; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
And he put them on the shoulders of the
ephod, that they should be stones for a
memorial to the children of Israel; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
Then they fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the
ephod as
memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the
LORD had commanded Moses.
And they did bind the
breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the
ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious
girdle of the
ephod, and that the
breastplate might not be loosed from the
ephod; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
Then they
tied the rings of the breastpiece to the rings of the
ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so that the breastpiece was above the
waistband of the
ephod and would not
swing out from the
ephod, just as the
LORD had commanded Moses.
alternating the bells and pomegranates around the lower
hem of the
robe to be worn for ministry, just as the
LORD had commanded Moses.
And a
girdle of fine
twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of
needlework; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
and the
sash of finely
spun linen,
embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, just as the
LORD had commanded Moses.
And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a
signet,
HOLINESS TO THE
LORD.
They also made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and they engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD.
And they
tied unto it a lace of blue, to
fasten it on high upon the
mitre; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
Then they fastened to it a blue cord to mount it on the
turban, just as the
LORD had commanded Moses.
Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
So all the work for the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
The Israelites had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they have done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.
And Moses
inspected all the work and saw that they had accomplished it just as the
LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
Moses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.
And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, just as the LORD had commanded him.
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the
vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the
veil for the screen, and shielded off the ark of the Testimony, just as the
LORD had commanded him.
And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
He arranged the bread on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
and set up the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
And he burnt sweet incense
thereon; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
and he burned
fragrant incense on it, just as the
LORD had commanded him.
And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
He placed the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, just as the LORD had commanded him.
When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode
thereon, and the glory of the
LORD filled the tabernacle.
Moses was unable to enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel through all their journeys.
And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
Then the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the
LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the
herd, and of the flock.
“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the
LORD, you may bring as your offering an animal from the
herd or the flock.
If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the
herd, let him offer a male without
blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the
LORD.
If one’s offering is a burnt offering from the
herd, he is to present an
unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before the
LORD.
And he shall kill the
bullock before the
LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood, and
sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And he shall slaughter the young bull before the
LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and
sprinkle it on all sides of the altar at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The
entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall burn all of it on the altar as a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the
LORD.
And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the
LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall
sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.
He shall slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the
LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to
sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The
entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall bring all of it and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the
LORD.
And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
If, instead, one’s offering to the
LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present a
turtledove or a young
pigeon.
And he shall
cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it
asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the
LORD.
He shall
tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to burn it on the altar
atop the burning wood. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the
LORD.
And when any will offer a meat offering unto the
LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put
frankincense thereon:
“When
anyone brings a grain offering to the
LORD, his offering must consist of fine flour. He is to pour olive oil on it, put
frankincense on it,
And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take
thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the
frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the
memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the
LORD:
and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the
frankincense, and burn this as a
memorial portion on the altar, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the
LORD.
And the
remnant of the meat offerings shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the
LORD made by fire.
The remainder of the grain offering shall belong to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD.
And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.
When you bring to the LORD the grain offering made in any of these ways, it is to be presented to the priest, and he shall take it to the altar.
And the priest shall take from the meat offering a
memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the
LORD.
The priest is to remove the
memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the
LORD.
And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
But the remainder of the grain offering shall belong to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD.
No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the
LORD, shall be made with
leaven: for ye shall burn no
leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the
LORD made by fire.
No grain offering that you present to the
LORD may be made with
leaven, for you are not to burn any
leaven or honey as an offering made by fire to the
LORD.
As for the
oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the
LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
You may bring them to the
LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing
aroma.
And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the
LORD, you shall offer
crushed heads of new grain
roasted on the fire.
And the priest shall burn the
memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the
frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the
LORD.
The priest shall then burn the
memorial portion of the
crushed grain and the oil, together with all its
frankincense, as an offering made by fire to the
LORD.
And if his
oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the
herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without
blemish before the
LORD.
“If one’s offering is a peace offering and he offers an animal from the
herd, whether male or female, he must present it without
blemish before the
LORD.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
From the peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the
LORD: the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar
atop the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the
LORD.
And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the
LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without
blemish.
If, however, one’s peace offering to the
LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without
blemish.
If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.
If he is presenting a lamb for his offering, he must present it before the LORD.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the
LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole
rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from the peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to the
LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the
backbone, the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Then the priest is to burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.
If one’s offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.
And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from his offering he shall present an offering made by fire to the
LORD: the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD’S.
Then the priest is to burn the food on the altar as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma. All the fat is the
LORD’s.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
“Tell the Israelites to do as follows with one who sins
unintentionally against any of the
LORD’s commandments and does what is forbidden by them:
If the priest that is
anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath
sinned, a young
bullock without
blemish unto the
LORD for a sin offering.
If the
anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the
LORD a young bull without
blemish as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.
And he shall bring the
bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the
LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the
bullock’s head, and kill the
bullock before the
LORD.
He must bring the bull to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD, lay his hand on the bull’s head, and slaughter it before the LORD.
And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and
sprinkle of the blood seven times before the
LORD, before the
vail of the sanctuary.
The priest is to dip his finger in the blood and
sprinkle some of it seven times before the
LORD, in front of the
veil of the sanctuary.
And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the
LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation: and shall pour all the blood of the
bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
The priest must then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of
fragrant incense that is before the
LORD in the Tent of Meeting. And he is to pour out the rest of the bull’s blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be
hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the
LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
Now if the whole congregation of Israel strays
unintentionally and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly so that they
violate any of the
LORD’s commandments and
incur guilt by doing what is forbidden,
And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the
bullock before the
LORD: and the
bullock shall be killed before the
LORD.
The elders of the congregation are to lay their hands on the bull’s head before the LORD, and it shall be slaughtered before the LORD.
And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and
sprinkle it seven times before the
LORD, even before the
vail.
and he is to dip his finger in the blood and
sprinkle it seven times before the
LORD in front of the
veil.
And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
He is also to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar that is before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting, and he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
When a ruler hath
sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the
LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
When a leader sins
unintentionally and does what is prohibited by any of the commandments of the
LORD his God, he incurs guilt.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.
He is to lay his hand on the head of the goat and slaughter it at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the LORD. It is a sin offering.
And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
And if one of the common people sins
unintentionally and does what is prohibited by any of the
LORD’s commandments, he incurs guilt.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the
LORD; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him, and it shall be
forgiven him.
Then he is to remove all the fat, just as it is removed from the peace offering, and the priest is to burn it on the altar as a pleasing
aroma to the
LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the
LORD: and the priest shall make an
atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be
forgiven him.
And he shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the peace offerings, and he shall burn it on the altar along with the offerings made by fire to the
LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall bring his
trespass offering unto the
LORD for his sin which he hath
sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a
kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him concerning his sin.
and he must bring his guilt offering to the
LORD for the sin he has committed: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. And the priest will make
atonement for him concerning his sin.
And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his
trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the
LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
If, however, he cannot afford a lamb, he may bring to the
LORD as
restitution for his sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.
Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a
memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the
LORD: it is a sin offering.
He is to bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful from it as a
memorial portion and burn it on the altar
atop the offerings made by fire to the
LORD; it is a sin offering.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
