And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
and two turtledoves or two young pigeons,
whichever he can afford, one to be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.
And he
shall bring them on the eighth day for his
cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.
On the eighth day he is to bring them for his
cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD.
And the priest
shall take the lamb of the
trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest
shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
The priest shall take the lamb for the guilt offering, along with the log of olive oil, and wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.
And he
shall kill the lamb of the
trespass offering, and the priest
shall take some of the blood of the
trespass offering, and put it upon the
tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the
thumb of his right hand, and upon the great
toe of his right foot:
And after he slaughters the lamb for the guilt offering, the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be
cleansed, on the
thumb of his right hand, and on the
big toe of his right foot.
And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:
Then the priest is to pour some of the oil into his left palm
And the priest
shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:
and
sprinkle with his right
forefinger some of the oil in his left palm seven times before the LORD.
And the priest
shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the
tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the
thumb of his right hand, and upon the great
toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the
trespass offering:
The priest
shall also put some of the oil in his palm on the right earlobe of the one to be
cleansed, on the
thumb of his right hand, and on the
big toe of his right foot—on the same places as the blood of the guilt offering.
And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he
shall put upon the head of him that is to be
cleansed, to make an
atonement for him before the LORD.
The rest of the oil in his palm, the priest is to put on the head of the one to be
cleansed, to make
atonement for him before the LORD.
And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;
Then he must sacrifice the turtledoves or young pigeons,
whichever he can afford,
Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest
shall make an
atonement for him that is to be
cleansed before the LORD.
one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement before the LORD for the one to be
cleansed.
And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:
the owner of the house
shall come and tell the priest, ‘Something like
mildew has appeared in my house.’
Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:
The priest must order that the house be cleared before he enters it to examine the
mildew, so that nothing in the house will become unclean. After this, the priest
shall go in to
inspect the house.
And he
shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes,
greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;
He is to examine the house, and if the
mildew on the walls consists of green or red depressions that appear to be beneath the surface of the wall,
Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:
the priest
shall go outside the
doorway of the house and close it up for seven days.
And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;
On the seventh day the priest is to return and
inspect the house. If the
mildew has spread on the walls,
Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:
he must order that the
contaminated stones be pulled out and thrown into an unclean place outside the city.
And he
shall cause the house to be
scraped within round about, and they
shall pour out the dust that they
scrape off without the city into an unclean place:
And he
shall have the inside of the house
scraped completely and the
plaster that is
scraped off
dumped into an unclean place outside the city.
And they
shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he
shall take other
morter, and
shall plaister the house.
So different stones must be obtained to replace the
contaminated ones, as well as additional mortar to replaster the house.
Then the priest
shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a
fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.
the priest must come and
inspect it. If the
mildew has spread in the house, it is a destructive
mildew; the house is unclean.
And he
shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the
morter of the house; and he
shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.
It must be
torn down with its stones, its timbers, and all its
plaster, and taken outside the city to an unclean place.
Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.
Anyone who enters the house during any of the days that it is closed up will be unclean until evening.
And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.
And
anyone who sleeps in the house or eats in it must wash his clothes.
And if the priest
shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest
shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is
healed.
If, however, the priest comes and inspects it, and the
mildew has not spread after the house has been replastered, he
shall pronounce the house clean, because the
mildew is gone.
And he
shall take to
cleanse the house two birds, and
cedar wood, and scarlet, and
hyssop:
And he
shall kill the one of the birds in an
earthen vessel over running water:
and he shall slaughter one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot.
And he
shall take the
cedar wood, and the
hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and
sprinkle the house seven times:
Then he
shall take the
cedar wood, the
hyssop, the scarlet yarn, and the live bird, dip them in the blood of the slaughtered bird and the fresh water, and
sprinkle the house seven times.
And he
shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the
cedar wood, and with the
hyssop, and with the scarlet:
And he
shall cleanse the house with the bird’s blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the
cedar wood, the
hyssop, and the scarlet yarn.
But he
shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an
atonement for the house: and it
shall be clean.
Finally, he is to release the live bird into the open fields outside the city. In this way he will make
atonement for the house, and it will be clean.
And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
This uncleanness is from his discharge, whether his body allows the discharge to flow or blocks it. So his discharge will bring about uncleanness.
Every bed,
whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing,
whereon he sitteth,
shall be unclean.
Any bed on which the man with the discharge lies will be unclean, and any furniture on which he sits will be unclean.
And
whosoever toucheth his bed
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And he that sitteth on any thing
whereon he sat that hath the issue
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever sits on furniture on which the man with the discharge was sitting must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever touches the body of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And if he that hath the issue
spit upon him that is clean; then he
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, that person must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And what
saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue
shall be unclean.
Any
saddle on which the man with the discharge rides will be unclean.
And
whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him
shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and
whoever carries such things must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And
whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not
rinsed his hands in water, he
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If the man with the discharge touches
anyone without first
rinsing his hands with water, the one who was touched must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue,
shall be broken: and every vessel of wood
shall be
rinsed in water.
Any clay pot that the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden
utensil must be
rinsed with water.
And when he that hath an issue is
cleansed of his issue; then he
shall number to himself seven days for his
cleansing, and wash his clothes, and
bathe his flesh in running water, and
shall be clean.
When the man has been
cleansed from his discharge, he must count off seven days for his
cleansing, wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in fresh water, and he
shall be clean.
And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
On the eighth day he is to take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, come before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest.
And the priest
shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest
shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for the man before the LORD because of his discharge.
And if any man’s seed of
copulation go out from him, then he
shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
When a man has an
emission of
semen, he must
bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And every garment, and every skin,
whereon is the seed of
copulation,
shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
Any clothing or leather on which there is an
emission of
semen must be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until evening.
The woman also with whom man
shall lie with seed of
copulation, they
shall both
bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.
If a man lies with a woman and there is an
emission of
semen, both must
bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening.
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she
shall be put apart seven days: and
whosoever toucheth her
shall be unclean until the even.
When a woman has a discharge consisting of blood from her body, she will be unclean due to her
menstruation for seven days, and
anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.
And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
Anything on which she lies or sits during her
menstruation will be unclean,
And
whosoever toucheth her bed
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
and
anyone who touches her bed must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And
whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever touches any furniture on which she was sitting must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And if it be on her bed, or on any thing
whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he
shall be unclean until the even.
And whether it is a bed or furniture on which she was sitting,
whoever touches it will be unclean until evening.
And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he
shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed
whereon he lieth
shall be unclean.
If a man lies with her and her
menstrual flow touches him, he will be unclean for seven days, and any bed on which he lies will become unclean.
And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
When a woman has a discharge of her blood for many days at a time other than her
menstrual period, or if it continues beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean discharge, just as she is during the days of her
menstruation.
Every bed
whereon she lieth all the days of her issue
shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and
whatsoever she sitteth upon
shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
Any bed on which she lies or any furniture on which she sits during the days of her discharge will be unclean, like her bed during her
menstrual period.
And
whosoever toucheth those things
shall be unclean, and
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Anyone who touches these things will be unclean; he must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
But if she be
cleansed of her issue, then she
shall number to herself seven days, and after that she
shall be clean.
When a woman is
cleansed of her discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be
ceremonially clean.
And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
On the eighth day she is to take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And the priest
shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest
shall make an
atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
The priest is to sacrifice one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for her before the LORD for her unclean discharge.
Thus
shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they
defile my tabernacle that is among them.
You must keep the children of Israel separate from their uncleanness, so that they do not die by
defiling My tabernacle, which is among them.
Thus
shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young
bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
This is how Aaron is to enter the Holy Place: with a young bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.
He
shall put on the holy linen coat, and he
shall have the linen
breeches upon his flesh, and
shall be
girded with a linen
girdle, and with the linen
mitre shall he be
attired: these are holy garments; therefore
shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
He is to wear the sacred linen
tunic, with linen undergarments. He must
tie a linen
sash around him and put on the linen
turban. These are holy garments, and he must
bathe himself with water before he wears them.
And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
And he shall take from the congregation of Israel two male goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.
And Aaron
shall offer his
bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an
atonement for himself, and for his house.
Aaron is to present the bull for his sin offering and make
atonement for himself and his household.
And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Then he shall take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And Aaron
shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the
scapegoat.
After Aaron casts lots for the two goats, one for the LORD and the other for the
scapegoat,
And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
he shall present the goat chosen by lot for the LORD and sacrifice it as a sin offering.
But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the
scapegoat,
shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an
atonement with him, and to let him go for a
scapegoat into the wilderness.
But the goat chosen by lot as the
scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to make
atonement by sending it into the wilderness as the
scapegoat.
And Aaron
shall bring the
bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and
shall make an
atonement for himself, and for his house, and
shall kill the
bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:
When Aaron presents the bull for his sin offering and makes
atonement for himself and his household, he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering.
And he
shall take a
censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the
vail:
Then he must take a
censer full of burning coals from the altar before the LORD, and two handfuls of finely ground
fragrant incense, and take them inside the
veil.
And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the cloud of incense will cover the mercy seat above the Testimony, so that he will not die.
And he
shall take of the blood of the
bullock, and
sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat
shall he
sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
And he is to take some of the bull’s blood and
sprinkle it with his finger on the east side of the mercy seat; then he
shall sprinkle some of it with his finger seven times before the mercy seat.
Then
shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the
vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the
bullock, and
sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
Aaron
shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and bring its blood behind the
veil, and with its blood he must do as he did with the bull’s blood: He is to
sprinkle it against the mercy seat and in front of it.
And he
shall make an
atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so
shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
So he
shall make
atonement for the Most Holy Place because of the impurities and
rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to do the same for the Tent of Meeting which abides among them, because it is surrounded by their impurities.
And there
shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an
atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an
atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
No one may be in the Tent of Meeting from the time Aaron goes in to make
atonement in the Most Holy Place until he leaves, after he has made
atonement for himself, his household, and the whole assembly of Israel.
And he
shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an
atonement for it; and
shall take of the blood of the
bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.
Then he
shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD and make
atonement for it. He is to take some of the bull’s blood and some of the goat’s blood and put it on all the horns of the altar.
And he
shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and
cleanse it, and
hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
He is to
sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times to
cleanse it and
consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites.
And when he hath made an end of
reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he
shall bring the live goat:
When Aaron has finished
purifying the Most Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he is to bring forward the live goat.
And Aaron
shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and
confess over him all the
iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and
shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
Then he is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and
confess over it all the
iniquities and
rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to put them on the goat’s head and send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a man appointed for the task.
And the goat
shall bear upon him all their
iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he
shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
The goat will carry on itself all their
iniquities into a solitary place, and the man will release it into the wilderness.
And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
Then Aaron is to enter the Tent of Meeting, take off the linen garments he put on before entering the Most Holy Place, and leave them there.
And he
shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an
atonement for himself, and for the people.
He is to
bathe himself with water in a holy place and put on his own clothes. Then he must go out and sacrifice his burnt offering and the people’s burnt offering to make
atonement for himself and for the people.
And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.
He is also to burn the fat of the sin offering on the altar.
And he that let go the goat for the
scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and
bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
The man who released the goat as the
scapegoat must wash his clothes and
bathe himself with water; afterward he may reenter the camp.
And the
bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make
atonement in the holy place,
shall one carry forth without the camp; and they
shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought into the Most Holy Place to make
atonement, must be taken outside the camp; and their hides, flesh, and dung must be burned up.
And he that burneth them
shall wash his clothes, and
bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he
shall come into the camp.
The one who burns them must wash his clothes and
bathe himself with water, and afterward he may reenter the camp.
And this
shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye
shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
This is to be a permanent statute for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month, you
shall humble
yourselves and not do any work—whether the native or the foreigner who resides among you—
For on that day
shall the priest make an
atonement for you, to
cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
because on this day
atonement will be made for you to
cleanse you, and you will be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
It
shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye
shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
It is a Sabbath of complete rest for you, that you may humble
yourselves; it is a permanent statute.
And the priest, whom he
shall anoint, and whom he
shall consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s
stead,
shall make the
atonement, and
shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
The priest who is
anointed and ordained to succeed his father as high priest
shall make
atonement. He will put on the sacred linen garments
And he
shall make an
atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he
shall make an
atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he
shall make an
atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.
and make
atonement for the Most Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, and for the priests and all the people of the assembly.
And this
shall be an
everlasting statute unto you, to make an
atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.
This is to be a permanent statute for you, to make
atonement once a year for the Israelites because of all their sins.” And all this was done as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD before His tabernacle—that man
shall incur bloodguilt. He has shed blood and must be cut off from among his people.
And the priest
shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The priest will then
sprinkle the blood on the altar of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And they
shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a
whoring. This
shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
They must no longer offer their sacrifices to the goat demons to which they have
prostituted themselves. This will be a permanent statute for them for the generations to come.’
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
but does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD, that man must be cut off from his people.
Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
Therefore I say to the Israelites, ‘None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner living among you eat blood.’
And
whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that
sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he
shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
And if any
Israelite or foreigner living among them hunts down a wild animal or bird that may be eaten, he must
drain its blood and cover it with
dirt.
For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye
shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof:
whosoever eateth it
shall be cut off.
For the life of all flesh is its blood. Therefore I have told the Israelites, ‘You must not eat the blood of any living thing, because the life of all flesh is its blood;
whoever eats it must be cut off.’
And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was
torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he
shall both wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then
shall he be clean.
And any person, whether native or foreigner, who eats anything found dead or
mauled by wild beasts must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening; then he will be clean.
But if he wash them not, nor
bathe his flesh; then he
shall bear his iniquity.
But if he does not wash his clothes and
bathe himself, then he
shall bear his iniquity.”
After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt,
shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of
Canaan,
whither I bring you,
shall ye not do: neither
shall ye walk in their ordinances.
You must not follow the practices of the land of Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not follow the practices of the land of
Canaan, into which I am bringing you. You must not walk in their customs.
Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
You are to practice My judgments and keep My statutes by walking in them. I am the LORD your God.
