The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.
The
threshing floor and winepress will not
feed them, and the new wine will fail them.
I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.
I led them with cords of kindness, with ropes of love; I lifted the yoke from their necks and bent down to feed them.
Ephraim
feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and
desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.
Ephraim chases the wind and pursues the east wind all day long; he multiplies lies and violence; he makes a covenant with Assyria and sends olive oil to Egypt.
And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through
Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast,
herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not
feed, nor drink water:
Then he issued a
proclamation in
Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Let no man or beast,
herd or flock, taste anything at all. They must not eat or drink.
And he shall stand and
feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall
abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
He will stand and
shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD, in the
majestic name of the LORD His God. And they will dwell securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth.
Shepherd with Your staff Your people, the flock of Your inheritance. They live alone in a
woodland, surrounded by pastures. Let them
graze in
Bashan and
Gilead, as in the days of old.
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all
acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the
whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his
feet.
The LORD is slow to anger and great in power; the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. His path is in the
whirlwind and storm, and clouds are the dust beneath His
feet.
Behold upon the mountains the
feet of him that bringeth good
tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
Look to the mountains— the
feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace!
Celebrate your feasts, O Judah;
fulfill your vows. For the wicked will never again march through you; they will be utterly cut off.
Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the
feeding place of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion’s
whelp, and none made them afraid?
Where is the lions’
lair or the
feeding ground of the young lions, where the lion and
lioness prowled with their cubs, with nothing to
frighten them away?
Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall
weary themselves for very vanity?
Is it not indeed from the LORD of Hosts that the labor of the people only
feeds the fire, and the nations
weary themselves in vain?
Before him went the
pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his
feet.
Plague went before Him, and fever followed in His steps.
The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
GOD the Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like those of a deer; He makes me walk upon the heights! For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments.
And the coast shall be for the
remnant of the house of Judah; they shall
feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.
The coast will belong to the
remnant of the house of Judah; there they will find pasture. They will lie down in the evening among the houses of Ashkelon, for the LORD their God will attend to them and restore their
captives.
The
remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a
deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall
feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
The
remnant of Israel will no longer do wrong or speak lies, nor will a
deceitful tongue be found in their mouths. But they will
feed and lie down, with no one to make them
tremble.”
Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
This is what the LORD my God says: “Pasture the flock marked for slaughter,
And I will
feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two
staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
So I pastured the flock marked for slaughter, especially the
afflicted of the flock. Then I took for myself two staffs, calling one Favor and the other Union, and I pastured the flock.
Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
Then I said, “I will no longer
shepherd you. Let the dying die, and the perishing perish; and let those who remain
devour one another’s flesh.”
For, lo, I will raise up a
shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor
heal that that is broken, nor
feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and
tear their claws in pieces.
For behold, I will raise up a
shepherd in the land who will neither care for the lost, nor seek the young, nor
heal the broken, nor
sustain the healthy, but he will
devour the flesh of the choice sheep and
tear off their
hooves.
In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
On that day the LORD will defend the people of Jerusalem, so that the weakest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the LORD going before them.
And his
feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall
cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half the mountain moving to the north and half to the south.
And this shall be the plague
wherewith the LORD will
smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall
consume away while they stand upon their
feet, and their eyes shall
consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall
consume away in their mouth.
And this will be the plague with which the LORD strikes all the peoples who have
warred against Jerusalem: Their flesh will
rot while they stand on their
feet, their eyes will
rot in their sockets, and their tongues will
rot in their mouths.
And ye shall
tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your
feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
Then you will
trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your
feet on the day I am preparing,” says the LORD of Hosts.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they
sow not, neither do they
reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father
feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Look at the birds of the air: They do not
sow or
reap or gather into barns—and yet your heavenly Father
feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before
swine, lest they
trample them under their
feet, and turn again and
rend you.
Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before
swine. If you do, they may
trample them under their
feet, and then turn and
tear you to pieces.
And there was a good way off from them an
herd of many
swine feeding.
In the distance a large

And
whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city,
shake off the dust of your
feet.
And if
anyone will not
welcome you or
heed your words,
shake the dust off your
feet when you leave that home or town.
And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were
lame, blind,
dumb,
maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’
feet; and he
healed them:
Large crowds came to Him, bringing the
lame, the blind, the
crippled, the
mute, and many others, and laid them at His
feet, and He
healed them.
And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
The disciples replied, “Where in this
desolate place could we find enough bread to
feed such a large crowd?”
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot
offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life
halt or
maimed, rather than having two hands or two
feet to be cast into
everlasting fire.
If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life
crippled or
lame than to have two hands and two
feet and be thrown into the eternal fire.
And his fellowservant fell down at his
feet, and
besought him, saying, Have
patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
So his fellow servant fell down and
begged him, ‘Have
patience with me, and I will pay you back.’
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy
footstool?
‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an
hungred, and fed thee? or
thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You
hungry and
feed You, or
thirsty and give You something to drink?
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All
hail. And they came and held him by the
feet, and worshipped him.
Suddenly Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” They came to Him,
grasped His
feet, and worshiped Him.
Now there was there
nigh unto the mountains a great
herd of
swine feeding.
There on the nearby

And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the
synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his

A
synagogue leader named Jairus arrived, and seeing Jesus, he fell at His

whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence,
shake off the dust under your
feet for a testimony against them.
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more
tolerable for
Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
If
anyone will not
welcome you or
listen to you,
shake the dust off your
feet when you leave that place, as a testimony against them.”

And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
His disciples replied, “Where in this
desolate place could
anyone find enough bread to
feed all these people?”
But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up.
And if thy foot
offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter
halt into life, than having two
feet to be cast into
hell, into the fire that never shall be
quenched:
If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life
lame than to have two
feet and be thrown into
hell.
For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy
footstool.
Speaking by the Holy Spirit, David himself declared: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
to
shine on those who live in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our
feet into the path of peace.”
And stood at his
feet behind him
weeping, and began to wash his
feet with tears, and did
wipe them with the hairs of her head, and
kissed his
feet, and
anointed them with the
ointment.
As she stood behind Him at His
feet weeping, she began to wet His
feet with her tears and
wipe them with her hair. Then she
kissed His
feet and
anointed them with the
perfume.
And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my
feet: but she hath washed my
feet with tears, and
wiped them with the hairs of her head.
And turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give Me water for My
feet, but she wet My
feet with her tears and
wiped them with her hair.
Thou gavest me no
kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to
kiss my
feet.
You did not
greet Me with a
kiss, but she has not stopped
kissing My
feet since I arrived.
And there was there an
herd of many
swine feeding on the mountain: and they
besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.

So the people went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus and found the man whom the demons had left, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the
synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’

Just then a
synagogue leader named Jairus came and fell at Jesus’
feet. He
begged Him to come to his house,
And
whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city,
shake off the very dust from your
feet for a testimony against them.
If
anyone does not
welcome you,
shake the dust off your
feet when you leave that town, as a testimony against them.”
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do
wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come
nigh unto you.
‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our
feet, we
wipe off as a testimony against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.’

Consider the ravens: for they neither
sow nor
reap; which neither have
storehouse nor
barn; and God
feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
Consider the ravens: They do not
sow or
reap, they have no
storehouse or
barn; yet God
feeds them. How much more valuable you are than the birds!

So he went and

But which of you, having a servant
plowing or
feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
Which of you whose servant comes in from
plowing or
shepherding in the field will say to him, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
And fell down on his face at his
feet, giving him
thanks: and he was a
Samaritan.
until I make Your enemies a
footstool for Your
feet.”’
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
“Never shall You wash my feet!” Peter told Him. Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.”
Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
“Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not only my feet, but my hands and my head as well!”
Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his
feet, but is clean every

feet and put on His outer garments, He
reclined with them again and asked, “Do you know what I have done for you?
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.
So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
And

feet, where the body of Jesus had
lain.

So when they had
dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of
Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him,
Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him,
Feed my lambs.
When they had finished eating, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?” “
Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.” Jesus replied, “
Feed My lambs.”
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of
Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him,
Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him,
Feed my sheep.
Jesus asked a second time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” “
Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.” Jesus told him, “
Shepherd My sheep.”
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of
Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was
grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him,
Feed my sheep.
Jesus asked a third time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was deeply

Feed My sheep.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to
tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the
feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
“How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord?” Peter replied. “Look, the feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”
Then fell she down
straightway at his
feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

sandals I am not worthy to
untie.’

Iconium.

Lystra there sat a man
crippled in his
feet, who was

feet!” And the man
jumped up and began to walk.

That they should seek the Lord, if
haply they might
feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
Take
heed therefore unto
yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to
feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Keep watch over
yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be
shepherds of the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.
And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s
girdle, and bound his own hands and
feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this
girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own feet and hands, and said, “The Holy Spirit says: ‘In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and hand him over to the Gentiles.’”
I am
verily a man which am a
Jew, born in
Tarsus, a city in
Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the
feet of
Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was
zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
“I am a
Jew, born in
Tarsus of
Cilicia, but raised in this city. I was educated at the
feet of
Gamaliel in strict conformity to the law of our fathers. I am just as
zealous for God as any of you here
today.
But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
‘But get up and stand on your
feet. For I have appeared to you to
appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen from Me and what I will show you.
Their feet are swift to shed blood:

And how shall they
preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the
feet of them that
preach the gospel of peace, and bring
glad tidings of good things!
And how can they
preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the
feet of those who bring good news!”
Therefore if thine enemy hunger,
feed him; if he
thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt
heap coals of fire on his head.
On the contrary, “If your enemy is

heap burning coals on his head.”
