forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

proclaim Your power to the next generation, Your might to all who are to come.

harp for Your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to You with the
lyre, O Holy One of Israel.
My lips shall greatly
rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
When I sing praise to You my lips will
shout for joy, along with my soul, which You have redeemed.
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long:

hurt.

flourish like the
forests of
Lebanon, and its people like the grass of the field.

endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

And blessed be his glorious name
for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory;
Amen, and
Amen.
And blessed be His glorious name
forever; may all the earth be filled with His glory.

amen.

for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well

O God, why hast thou cast us off
for ever? why
doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
Why have You rejected us
forever, O God? Why does Your anger
smolder against the sheep of Your pasture?
Thine enemies
roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns
for signs.
Your foes have
roared within Your meeting place; they have
unfurled their banners as signs,
We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
There are no signs for us to see. There is no longer any prophet. And none of us knows how long this will last.
O God, how long shall the
adversary reproach? shall the enemy
blaspheme thy name
for ever?

Unto thee, O God, do we give
thanks, unto thee do we give
thanks:
for that thy name is near thy

We give
thanks to You, O God; we give
thanks,
for Your Name is near. The people declare Your
wondrous works.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the
dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall
wring them out, and drink them.
For a cup is in the hand of the LORD, full of
foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours from His cup, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to the
dregs.
But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
“Will the Lord
spurn us
forever and never show His favor again?
Is his mercy clean gone
for ever?
doth his promise fail
for evermore?
Is His loving devotion gone
forever? Has His promise failed
for all time?

skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

skies resounded with
thunder; Your arrows
flashed back and
forth.

forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
that they should put their confidence in God, not
forgetting His works, but keeping His commandments.

forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.
They
forgot what He had done, the wonders He had shown them.

smote the rock, that the waters
gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh
for his people?
When He struck the rock, water
gushed out and torrents
raged. But can He also give bread or supply His people with meat?”

manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.
He rained down
manna for them to eat; He gave them grain from heaven.
