hour be cast into the midst of a burning
fiery furnace.

blazing fiery furnace.”
Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the
cornet,
flute,
harp,
sackbut,
psaltery, and
dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same
hour into the midst of a burning
fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
Now, if you are ready, as soon as you hear the sound of the horn,
flute,
zither,
lyre,
harp, pipes, and all kinds of music, you must fall down and worship the statue I have made. But if you refuse to worship, you will be thrown at once into the
blazing fiery furnace. Then what god will be able to deliver you from my hands?”

astonied for one
hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that
hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.
For a time, Daniel, who was also known as Belteshazzar, was
perplexed, and his thoughts

hate you, and its interpretation to your enemies!

dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles feathers, and his
nails like birds’ claws.

ate grass like an ox, and his body was
drenched with the
dew of heaven, until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his
nails like the claws of a bird.
In the same
hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the

plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. As the king watched the hand that was writing,

travail hath sorrow, because her
hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the

anguish because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.
These things have I spoken unto you in
proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in

hour. Suddenly a man in

And this did she many days. But Paul, being
grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same

And he took them the same
hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to
awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
And do this, understanding the occasion. The
hour has come for you to
wake up from your
slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
Even unto this present
hour we both hunger, and
thirst, and are naked, and are
buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
To this very
hour we are
hungry and
thirsty, we are poorly clothed, we are
brutally treated, we are homeless.
Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the
idol unto this
hour eat it as a thing offered unto an
idol; and their conscience being weak is
defiled.
But not
everyone has this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that they eat such food as if it were sacrificed to an
idol. And since their conscience is weak, it is
defiled.
And why stand we in
jeopardy every
hour?
And why do we
endanger ourselves every
hour?
To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that
antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Children, it is the last
hour; and just as you have heard that the
antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. This is how we know it is the last
hour.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and
repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a
thief, and thou shalt not know what
hour I will come upon thee.
Remember, then, what you have received and heard. Keep it and
repent. If you do not
wake up, I will come like a
thief, and you will not know the
hour when I will come upon you.
Because thou hast kept the word of my
patience, I also will keep thee from the
hour of
temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Because you have kept My command to
persevere, I will also keep you from the
hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

And the same
hour was there a great
earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the
earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the
remnant were
affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

earthquake, and a tenth of the city
collapsed. Seven thousand were killed in the
quake, and the rest were
terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Standing
afar off for the fear of her
torment, saying,
Alas,
alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one
hour is thy judgment come.
In fear of her
torment, they will stand at a distance and cry out: “
Woe,
woe to the great city, the mighty city of Babylon! For in a single
hour your judgment has come.”
For in one
hour so great riches is come to
nought. And every
shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood
afar off,
For in a single
hour such
fabulous wealth has been destroyed!” Every
shipmaster,
passenger, and
sailor, and all who make their living from the sea, will stand at a distance
Then they will throw dust on their heads as they
weep and
mourn and cry out: “
Woe,
woe to the great city, where all who had ships on the sea were enriched by her wealth! For in a single
hour she has been destroyed.”
