So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at
nought; but also that the
temple of the great goddess
Diana should be
despised, and her
magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

temple of the great goddess Artemis will be discredited and her majesty
deposed—she who is worshiped by all the province of Asia and the whole world.”

everyone know that the city of Ephesus is
guardian of the

hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.

robbed our
temple nor
blasphemed our goddess.

purifying himself with them entered into the

temple, and hath
polluted this holy place.

temple and

Trophimus an
Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the

temple.
And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the
temple: and

profane the
temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.

desecrate the
temple; so we seized him.
And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
Yet my accusers did not find me
debating with
anyone in the
temple or
riling up a crowd in the synagogues or in the city.
At the time they found me in the
temple, I was
ceremonially clean and was not
inciting a crowd or an
uproar. But there are some Jews from the province of Asia
While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Do you not know that you
yourselves are God’s
temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
If any man
defile the
temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the
temple of God is holy, which
temple ye are.
If
anyone destroys God’s
temple, God will destroy him; for God’s
temple is holy, and you are that
temple.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the
idol’s
temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be
emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
For if someone with a weak conscience sees you who are well informed eating in an
idol’s
temple, will he not be encouraged to eat food sacrificed to idols?
Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
Do you not know that those who work in the
temple eat of its food, and those who serve at the altar
partake of its offerings?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”

temple of God,
proclaiming himself to be God.

pillar in the
temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
The one who overcomes I will make a
pillar in the
temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name.

trample the holy city for 42 months.

temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his

temple. And there were
flashes of

thunder, and an
earthquake, and a great
hailstorm.

temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy
sickle, and

temple, crying out in a loud voice to the One seated on the cloud, “
Swing Your
sickle and
reap, because the time has come to harvest; for the crop of the earth is ripe.”

temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp
sickle.

sickle.

girded with golden sashes around their chests.
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

bowls of God’s wrath.”
And the seventh angel poured out his
vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the
temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
Then the seventh angel poured out his
bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the
temple, saying, “It is done!”
And I saw no
temple therein: for the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are the
temple of it.
But I saw no
temple in the city, because the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are its
temple.

temple are now in hand, we think it meet not to neglect such a matter,

scribe, and the rest that were in commission with them, removing in
haste toward Jerusalem with a
troop of
horsemen and a multitude of people in battle
array, began to hinder the builders; and the building of the
