And the rest of the acts of
Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a
pool, and a
conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
As for the rest of the acts of
Hezekiah, along with all his might and how he constructed the
pool and the
tunnel to
bring water into the city, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am
bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that
whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall
tingle.
this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I am
bringing such
calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah that the news will
reverberate in the ears of all who hear it.
Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:
that this is what the LORD says: I am about to
bring calamity on this place and on its people, according to all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read,
Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
‘Therefore I will indeed gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the
calamity that I will
bring on this place.’” So they brought her answer back to the king.
And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to
bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for
Baal, and for the
grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto
Bethel.
Then the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests second in rank, and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the LORD all the articles made for
Baal, Asherah, and all the host of heaven. And he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron and carried their ashes to
Bethel.
And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
Some of them were in charge of the articles used in worship, to count them whenever they were brought in or taken out.
Moreover they that were
nigh them, even unto
Issachar and
Zebulun and
Naphtali, brought bread on
asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of
raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.
And their neighbors from as far away as
Issachar,
Zebulun, and
Naphtali came
bringing food on
donkeys, camels, mules, and oxen—abundant supplies of flour, fig cakes and
raisin cakes, wine and oil, oxen and sheep. Indeed, there was joy in Israel.

bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the
cherubim—the ark that is called by the Name.
And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?

bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-
edom.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name:
bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of
holiness.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name;
bring an offering and come before Him. Worship the LORD in the
splendor of His
holiness;

And David said to
Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer-
sheba even to
Dan; and
bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.
So David said to
Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from
Beersheba to
Dan and
bring me a report, so that I may know their number.”
And
Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why then
doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of
trespass to Israel?
But
Joab replied, “May the LORD multiply His troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all servants of my lord? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he
bring guilt on Israel?”
Either three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the
pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore
advise thyself what word I shall
bring again to him that sent me.
between three years of famine, three months of being swept away before your enemies and overtaken by their swords, or three days of the sword of the LORD—days of plague upon the land, with the angel of the LORD
ravaging every part of Israel.’ Now then, decide how I should reply to Him who sent me.”
Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.
Now set your heart and soul to seek the LORD your God. Get started building the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the holy articles of God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD.”
And we will cut wood out of
Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will
bring it to thee in flotes by sea to
Joppa; and thou shall carry it up to Jerusalem.
We will cut logs from
Lebanon, as many as you need, and we will
float them to you as rafts by sea down to
Joppa. Then you can take them up to Jerusalem.”

Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by
recompensing his way upon his own head; and by
justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.
then may You hear from heaven and act. May You judge Your servants,
condemning the wicked man by
bringing down on his own head what he has done, and
justifying the righteous man by rewarding him according to his righteousness.
Then hear thou from the heavens, and
forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and
bring them again unto the land which thou gavest to them and to their fathers.
then may You hear from heaven and
forgive the sin of Your people Israel. May You restore them to the land You gave to them and their fathers.
For the king’s ships went to
Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of
Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
For the king had the ships of
Tarshish that went with
Hiram’s servants, and once every three years the ships of
Tarshish would arrive bearing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.
And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and
raiment,
harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
Year after year, each
visitor would
bring his tribute: articles of silver and gold, clothing, weapons, spices, horses, and mules.
And when
Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and
fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might

Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her forth of the ranges: and
whoso followeth her, let him be slain with the sword. For the priest said,
Slay her not in the house of the LORD.
And Jehoiada the priest sent out the commanders of hundreds in charge of the army, saying, “
Bring her out between the ranks, and put to the sword
anyone who follows her.” For the priest had said, “She must not be put to death in the house of the LORD.”
And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of Moses the servant of the LORD, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?
So the king called Jehoiada the high priest and said, “Why have you not required the Levites to bring from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by Moses the servant of the LORD and by the assembly of Israel for the Tent of the Testimony?”
And they made a
proclamation through Judah and Jerusalem, to
bring in to the LORD the collection that Moses the servant of God laid upon Israel in the wilderness.
And a
proclamation was issued in Judah and Jerusalem that they were to
bring to the LORD the tax imposed by Moses the servant of God on Israel in the wilderness.
Yet he sent prophets to them, to
bring them again unto the LORD; and they
testified against them: but they would not give ear.
Nevertheless, the LORD sent prophets to
bring the people back to Him and to
testify against them; but they would not
listen.
And said unto them, Ye shall not
bring in the
captives hither: for whereas we have
offended against the LORD already, ye intend to add more to our sins and to our
trespass: for our
trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.
“You must not
bring the
captives here,” they said, “for you are
proposing to
bring guilt upon us from the LORD and to add to our sins and our guilt. For our guilt is great, and fierce anger is upon Israel.”
Then
Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated
yourselves unto the LORD, come near and
bring sacrifices and
thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and
thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
Then
Hezekiah said, “Now that you have consecrated
yourselves to the LORD, come near and
bring sacrifices and
thank offerings to the house of the LORD.” So the assembly brought sacrifices and
thank offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings.
And
Azariah the chief priest of the house of
Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to
bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left
plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
and
Azariah, the chief priest of the household of
Zadok, answered him, “Since the people began to
bring their contributions into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat and there is
plenty left over, because the LORD has blessed His people; this great abundance is what is left over.”
And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the LORD given by Moses.
While they were bringing out the money that had been taken into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the LORD written by Moses.
Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah:
that this is what the LORD says: I am about to
bring calamity on this place and on its people, according to all the curses written in the book that has been read in the presence of the king of Judah,
Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king word again.
‘Now I will indeed gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the
calamity that I will
bring on this place and on its inhabitants.’” So they brought her answer back to the king.
Even those did Cyrus king of Persia
bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the
treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.
Cyrus king of Persia had them brought out by the hand of Mithredath the
treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.
All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
In all, there were 5,400 gold and silver articles. Sheshbazzar brought all these along when the exiles went up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to
bring cedar trees from
Lebanon to the sea of
Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.
They gave money to the masons and carpenters, and food and drink and oil to the people of
Sidon and Tyre to
bring cedar logs from
Lebanon to
Joppa by sea, as authorized by Cyrus king of Persia.
And I sent them with commandment unto
Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto
Iddo, and to his brethren the
Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should
bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.
And I sent them to
Iddo, the leader at Casiphia, with a message for him and his
kinsmen, the temple servants at Casiphia, that they should
bring to us ministers for the house of our God.
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
So the priests and Levites took charge of the silver and gold and sacred articles that had been
weighed out to be taken to the house of our God in Jerusalem.
But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the
uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will
bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.
but if you return to Me and keep and practice My commandments, then even if your exiles have been banished to the
farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and
bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for My Name.’
And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they
fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the
rubbish which are burned?
before his associates and the army of Samaria, saying, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Can they restore the wall by themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they complete it in a day? Can they
bring these burnt stones back to life from the mounds of
rubble?”
Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we
bring into
bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto
bondage already: neither is it in our power to
redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards.
We and our children are just like our countrymen and their children, yet we are subjecting our sons and daughters to slavery. Some of our daughters are already
enslaved, but we are powerless to
redeem them because our fields and vineyards belong to others.”
And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto
Ezra the
scribe to
bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
At that time all the people gathered together in the square before the Water Gate, and they asked
Ezra the
scribe to
bring out the Book of the Law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded for Israel.
And that they should
publish and
proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and
fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and
myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.
So they proclaimed this message and spread it throughout their towns and in Jerusalem, saying, “Go out to the hill country and
bring back branches of olive, wild olive,
myrtle, palm, and other
leafy trees, to make booths, as it is written.”
And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest
bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and
hearkened not unto thy commandments, but
sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and
hardened their neck, and would not hear.
You
admonished them to turn back to Your law, but they were
arrogant and disobeyed Your commandments. They
sinned against Your ordinances, by which a man will live if he practices them. They
stubbornly shrugged their shoulders; they
stiffened their necks and would not obey.
And if the people of the land
bring ware or any
victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not
buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the
exaction of every debt.
When the people of the land
bring merchandise or any kind of grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we will not
buy from them on a Sabbath or holy day. Every seventh year we will let the fields lie
fallow, and will
cancel every debt.
And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law:
We have cast lots among the priests, Levites, and people for the
donation of wood by our families at the appointed times each year. They are to
bring it to the house of our God to burn on the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the Law.
And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:
We will also bring the firstfruits of our land and of every fruit tree to the house of the LORD year by year.
Also the
firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to
bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:
And we will
bring the
firstborn of our sons and our
livestock, as it is written in the Law, and will
bring the
firstborn of our herds and flocks to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God.
And that we should
bring the firstfruits of our
dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the
tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the
tithes in all the cities of our
tillage.
Moreover, we will
bring to the priests at the storerooms of the house of our God the firstfruits of our
dough, of our grain offerings, of the fruit of all our trees, and of our new wine and oil. A tenth of our produce belongs to the Levites, so that they shall receive
tithes in all the towns where we labor.
And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take
tithes: and the Levites shall
bring up the
tithe of the
tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the
treasure house.
A priest of Aaron’s line is to
accompany the Levites when they collect the tenth, and the Levites are to
bring a tenth of these
tithes to the storerooms of the treasury in the house of our God.
For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall
bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the
porters, and the singers: and we will not
forsake the house of our God.
For the Israelites and the Levites are to bring the contributions of grain, new wine, and oil to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are kept and where the ministering priests, the gatekeepers, and the singers stay. Thus we will not neglect the house of our God.”
And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
Now the leaders of the people settled in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in the holy city of Jerusalem, while the remaining nine were to dwell in their own towns.
And at the
dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to
bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the
dedication with
gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals,
psalteries, and with harps.
In those days saw I in Judah some
treading winepresses on the sabbath, and
bringing in
sheaves, and
lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I
testified against them in the day wherein they sold
victuals.
In those days I saw people in Judah
treading winepresses on the Sabbath and
bringing in grain and loading it on
donkeys, along with wine, grapes, and figs. All kinds of goods were being brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. So I
warned them against selling food on that day.
Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God
bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye
bring more wrath upon Israel by
profaning the sabbath.
Did not your forefathers do the same things, so that our God brought all this
disaster on us and on this city? And now you are
rekindling His wrath against Israel by
profaning the Sabbath!”
To
bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to
shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.
to bring Queen Vashti before him, wearing her royal crown, to display her beauty to the people and officials. For she was beautiful to behold.
If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to
bring it into the king’s
treasuries.
If it pleases the king, let a decree be issued to destroy them, and I will deposit ten thousand talents of silver into the royal treasury to pay those who carry it out.”
On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
That night sleep escaped the king; so he ordered the Book of Records, the Chronicles, to be brought in and read to him.
And the king’s servants said unto him, Behold,
Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.
So the king’s attendants answered him, “
Haman is there, standing in the court.” “
Bring him in,” ordered the king.
Let the royal
apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:
have them
bring a royal
robe that the king himself has worn and a horse on which the king himself has
ridden—one with a royal crest placed on its head.
And let this
apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that they may
array the man
withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and
bring him on
horseback through the street of the city, and
proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour.
Let the
robe and the horse be entrusted to one of the king’s most noble princes. Let them
array the man the king wants to honor and
parade him on the horse through the city square,
proclaiming before him, ‘This is what is done for the man whom the king is delighted to honor!’”
And while they were yet talking with him, came the king’s chamberlains, and hasted to
bring Haman unto the
banquet that
Esther had prepared.
While they were still speaking with
Haman, the king’s eunuchs arrived and
rushed him to the
banquet that
Esther had prepared.
Then should I yet have comfort;
yea, I would
harden myself in sorrow: let him not
spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.
It still
brings me comfort, and joy through
unrelenting pain, that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.
They were confounded because they had hoped; they came thither, and were
ashamed.
They are confounded because they had hoped; their arrival brings disappointment.
Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance?
Have I ever said, ‘Give me something; offer me a
bribe from your wealth;
When the
scourge brings sudden death, He mocks the
despair of the innocent.
Remember, I
beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and
wilt thou
bring me into dust again?
Please remember that You
molded me like clay. Would You now return me to dust?
Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the
womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
Why then did You
bring me from the
womb? Oh, that I had died, and no eye had seen me!
The tabernacles of robbers
prosper, and they that
provoke God are secure; into whose hand God
bringeth abundantly.
The tents of robbers are safe, and those who
provoke God are secure— those who carry their god in their hands.
He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into light.
And
dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and
bringest me into judgment with thee?
Do You open Your eyes to one like this? Will You bring him into judgment before You?
Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
Who can bring out clean from unclean? No one!
Yet through the
scent of water it will
bud, and
bring forth boughs like a plant.
They conceive mischief, and
bring forth vanity, and their
belly prepareth
deceit.
But I would
strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should
asswage your grief.
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
He is
torn from the shelter of his tent and is marched off to the king of terrors.
Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
then you should fear the sword
yourselves, because wrath
brings punishment by the sword, so that you may know there is a judgment.”
He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is
hid bringeth he forth to light.
He stops up the sources of the streams to bring what is hidden to light.
For I know that thou
wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.
Yes, I know that You will
bring me down to death, to the place appointed for all the living.
To
bring back his soul from the pit, to be
enlightened with the light of the living.
to
bring back his soul from the Pit, that he may be
enlightened with the light of life.
For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
For according to a man’s deeds He repays him; according to a man’s ways He brings consequences.
To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
to bring rain on a barren land, on a desert where no man lives,
Canst thou
bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide
Arcturus with his sons?
Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear and her cubs?
Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock

calve?
“Do you know when mountain goats give birth? Have you watched the

Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
Can you count the months they are

They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.
They
crouch down and
bring forth their young; they deliver their

Wilt thou believe him, that he will
bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy

Can you trust him to
