ceremonially clean place where the ashes are poured out, and there he must burn it on a wood fire on the ash
heap.
And he shall
carry forth the
bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first

carcase of unclean
creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

Ithamar, Aaron’s remaining sons, and asked,
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their
carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
You must not eat their meat or touch their
carcasses; they are unclean for you.
They shall be even an
abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their
carcases in
abomination.
And for these ye shall be unclean:
whosoever toucheth the
carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
These creatures will make you unclean.
Whoever touches their
carcasses will be unclean until evening,

carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
and
whoever picks up one of their
carcasses must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean until evening.

carcases of every beast which divideth the
hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the
cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.

hooves not completely divided or that does not
chew the
cud is unclean for you.
Whoever touches any of them will be unclean.
And
whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you:
whoso toucheth their
carcase shall be unclean until the even.
All the four-footed animals that walk on their paws are unclean for you;
whoever touches their
carcasses will be unclean until evening,
And he that beareth the
carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
and
anyone who picks up a
carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean until evening. They are unclean for you.

whereupon any part of their
carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether it be
oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.

carcasses falls will be unclean. If it is an
oven or
cooking pot, it must be
smashed; it is unclean and will remain unclean for you.

iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to
defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down
thereto: it is confusion.
And
whosoever lieth
carnally with a woman, that is a
bondmaid,
betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be
scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
If a man lies
carnally with a slave
girl promised to another man but who has not been redeemed or given her freedom, there must be due punishment. But they are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed.
And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall
slay the beast.
If a man lies
carnally with an animal, he must be put to death. And you are also to kill the animal.
Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
You are to keep My statutes and carefully observe My judgments, so that you may dwell securely in the land.
Ye shall make you no idols nor
graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
“You must not make idols for
yourselves or set up a
carved image or sacred
pillar; you must not place a sculpted stone in your land to bow down to it. For I am the LORD your God.
If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
If you follow My statutes and carefully keep My commandments,
But if ye will not
hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
If, however, you fail to obey Me and to carry out all these commandments,
And if ye shall
despise my statutes, or if your soul
abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
and if you
reject My statutes,
despise My ordinances, and neglect to
carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant,
And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your
carcases upon the
carcases of your idols, and my soul shall
abhor you.
I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and
heap your lifeless bodies on the lifeless remains of your idols; and My soul will
despise you.

appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall
encamp round about the tabernacle.
Instead, you are to
appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, all its furnishings, and everything in it. They shall
carry the tabernacle and all its articles,
care for it, and camp around it.
And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
They shall take
care of all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting and
fulfill obligations for the Israelites by attending to the service of the tabernacle.
And thou shalt
appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh
nigh shall be put to death.

appoint Aaron and his sons to
carry out the duties of the priesthood; but any outsider who approaches the tabernacle must be put to death.”
