nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we
preach;
But what does it say? “The word is
near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are
proclaiming:
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to
awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation
nearer than when we believed.
And do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to
wake up from your
slumber, for our salvation is
nearer now than when we first believed.

nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make
intercession for them.

And almost all things are by the law
purged with blood; and without
shedding of blood is no remission.
According to the law, in fact,
nearly everything must be
purified with blood, and without the
shedding of blood there is no
forgiveness.
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers
thereunto perfect.
For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come, not the
realities themselves. It can never, by the same sacrifices offered year after year, make perfect those who draw
near to worship.
Let us draw
near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

afar off, and hath forgotten that he was
purged from his old sins.
But

cleansed from his past sins.

polluted my name, nor the name of my father, in the land of my captivity: I am the only daughter of my father, neither hath he any child to be his heir, neither any
near kinsman, nor any son of his alive, to whom I may keep myself for a wife: my seven husbands are already dead; and why should I live? but if it please not thee that I should die, command some regard to be had of me, and
pity taken of me, that I hear no more reproach.

Ammon, Let my lord now hear a word from the mouth of thy servant, and I will declare unto thee the truth concerning this people, which dwelleth
near thee, and inhabiteth the hill countries: and there shall no lie come out of the mouth of thy servant.
And they camped in the valley
near unto Bethulia, by the fountain, and they spread themselves in breadth over Dothaim even to Belmaim, and in length from Bethulia unto Cynamon, which is over against
Esdraelon.
For all the inhabitants of Bethulia have their water thence; so shall
thirst kill them, and they shall give up their city, and we and our people shall go up to the tops of the mountains that are
near, and will camp upon them, to watch that none go out of the city.

withstand him; for he will
mightily prevail against us:
Now when
Judas came
near the
brook, he caused the
scribes of the people to remain by the
brook: unto whom he gave commandment, saying, Suffer no man to remain in the camp, but let all come to the battle.
