And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall
nourish a
young cow, and two sheep;
On that day a man will raise a young cow and two sheep,
Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their
young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an
hypocrite and an
evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Therefore the Lord takes no pleasure in their
young men; He has no
compassion on their fatherless and widows. For every one of them is godless and wicked, and every mouth speaks folly.
Despite all this, His anger is not turned away; His hand is still upraised.
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the
leopard shall lie down with the
kid; and the
calf and the
young lion and the
fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
The wolf will live with the lamb, and the
leopard will lie down with the goat; the
calf and
young lion and
fatling will be together, and a little child will lead them.
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The cow will
graze with the bear, their
young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
Their bows also shall
dash the
young men to pieces; and they shall have no
pity on the fruit of the
womb; their eye shall not
spare children.
Their bows will
dash young men to pieces; they will have no mercy on the fruit of the
womb; they will not look with
pity on the children.
So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians
captives,
young and old, naked and
barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
so the king of Assyria will lead away the
captives of Egypt and the exiles of
Cush,
young and old alike, naked and
barefoot, with bared buttocks—to Egypt’s shame.
Be thou
ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I
travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I
nourish up
young men, nor bring up virgins.
Be
ashamed, O
Sidon, the
stronghold of the sea, for the sea has spoken: “I have not been in labor or given birth. I have not raised
young men or brought up
young women.”
The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and
anguish, from whence come the
young and old lion, the
viper and
fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of
young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
This is the burden against the beasts of the Negev: Through a land of
hardship and distress, of
lioness and lion, of
viper and flying serpent, they carry their wealth on the backs of
donkeys and their treasures on the humps of camels, to a people of no profit to them.
For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the
young lion
roaring on his prey, when a multitude of
shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor
abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount
Zion, and for the hill thereof.
For this is what the LORD has said to me: “Like a lion
roaring or a
young lion over its prey— and though a band of
shepherds is called out against it, it is not
terrified by their
shouting or subdued by their
clamor— so the LORD of Hosts will come down to do battle on Mount
Zion and its heights.
Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall
devour him: but he shall
flee from the sword, and his
young men shall be
discomfited.
“Then Assyria will fall, but not by the sword of man; a sword will
devour them, but not one made by mortals. They will
flee before the sword, and their
young men will be put to forced labor.
And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be
soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
And the wild oxen will fall with them, the
young bulls with the strong ones. Their land will be
drenched with blood, and their soil will be
soaked with fat.
He shall feed his flock like a
shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his
bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with
young.
He tends His flock like a
shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads the
nursing ewes.
Even the youths shall
faint and be
weary, and the
young men shall utterly fall:
The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the
dromedaries of
Midian and
Ephah; all they from
Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall
shew forth the praises of the LORD.
For as a
young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the
bridegroom rejoiceth over the
bride, so shall thy God
rejoice over thee.
For as a
young man marries a
young woman, so your sons will marry you; and as a
bridegroom rejoices over his
bride, so your God will
rejoice over you.
The
young lions
roared upon him, and
yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.
The
young lions have
roared at him; they have
growled with a loud voice. They have laid waste his land; his cities lie in ruins, without inhabitant.
How canst thou say, I am not
polluted, I have not gone after
Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift
dromedary traversing her ways;
“How can you say, ‘I am not
defiled; I have not run after the Baals’? Look at your
behavior in the valley; acknowledge what you have done. You are a swift
young she-
camel galloping here and there,
Therefore I am full of the
fury of the LORD; I am
weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of
young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
But I am full of the LORD’s wrath; I am
tired of holding it back. “Pour it out on the children in the street, and on the
young men gathered together. For both husband and wife will be captured, the old and the very old alike.
For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.
For death has
climbed in through our windows; it has entered our fortresses to cut off the children from the streets, the
young men from the town squares.
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will
punish them: the
young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
So this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I will
punish them. Their
young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters by famine.
Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the
young men a
spoiler at
noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
I will make their widows more numerous than the sand of the sea. I will bring a destroyer at
noon against the mothers of
young men. I will suddenly bring upon them
anguish and dismay.
Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be
bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their
young men be slain by the sword in battle.
Therefore, hand their children over to famine; pour out the power of the sword upon them. Let their wives become childless and widowed; let their husbands be slain by disease, their young men struck down by the sword in battle.
Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of
Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the
young of the flock and of the
herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
They will come and
shout for joy on the heights of
Zion; they will be
radiant over the
bounty of the LORD— the grain, new wine, and oil, and the
young of the flocks and herds. Their life will be like a well-watered garden, and never again will they
languish.
Then shall the virgin
rejoice in the dance, both
young men and old together: for I will turn their
mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them
rejoice from their sorrow.
Then the maidens will
rejoice with dancing,
young men and old as well. I will turn their
mourning into joy, and give them comfort and joy for their sorrow.
Moab is
spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen
young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
Moab has been destroyed and its towns have been invaded; the best of its young men have gone down in the slaughter, declares the King, whose name is the LORD of Hosts.
Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
For her young men will fall in the streets, and all her warriors will be silenced in that day,” declares the LORD of Hosts.
Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter:
woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their
visitation.
Kill all her
young bulls; let them go down to the slaughter.
Woe to them, for their day has come— the time of their punishment.
Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD.
Therefore, her young men will fall in the streets, and all her warriors will be silenced in that day,” declares the LORD.
Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his
brigandine: and
spare ye not her
young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.
Do not let the archer bend his bow or put on his
armor. Do not
spare her
young men;
devote all her army to destruction!
With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and
young; and with thee will I break in pieces the
young man and the
maid;
They shall
roar together like lions: they shall
yell as lions’ whelps.
They will
roar together like
young lions; they will
growl like lion cubs.
The Lord hath
trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to
crush my
young men: the Lord hath
trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress.
The Lord has rejected all the mighty men in my midst; He has summoned an army against me to
crush my
young warriors. Like grapes in a winepress, the Lord has
trampled the Virgin Daughter of Judah.
The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.
The LORD is righteous, for I have rebelled against His command.
Listen, all you people; look upon my suffering. My
young men and maidens have gone into captivity.
The elders of the daughter of
Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have
girded themselves with
sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem
hang down their heads to the ground.
The elders of the Daughter of
Zion sit on the ground in silence. They have thrown dust on their heads and put on
sackcloth. The
young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.
Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy
young children, that
faint for hunger in the top of every street.
Arise, cry out in the night from the first watch of the night. Pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to Him for the lives of your children who are
fainting from hunger on the corner of every street.
The
young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my
young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not
pitied.
Both
young and old lie together in the dust of the streets. My
young men and maidens have fallen by the sword. You have slain them in the day of Your anger; You have slaughtered them without
compassion.
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young.
Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give
suck to their
young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.
Even jackals offer their breasts to
nurse their
young, but the daughter of my people has become cruel, like an
ostrich in the wilderness.
The tongue of the
sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for
thirst: the
young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them.
The
nursing infant’s tongue clings in
thirst to the roof of his mouth. Little children
beg for bread, but no one gives them any.
They took the
young men to
grind, and the children fell under the wood.
Young men
toil at millstones; boys
stagger under loads of wood.
The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick.
The elders have left the city gate; the young men have stopped their music.
Slay utterly old and
young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
Slaughter the old men, the
young men and maidens, the women and children; but do not go near
anyone who has the mark. Now begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the temple.
And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy
younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is
Sodom and her daughters.
Your older sister was Samaria, who lived with her daughters to your north; and your
younger sister was
Sodom, who lived with her daughters to your south.
Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be
ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy
younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.
Then you will remember your ways and be
ashamed when you receive your older and
younger sisters. I will give them to you as daughters, but not because of My covenant with you.
He
cropped off the top of his
young twigs, and carried it into a land of
traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.
He
plucked off its
topmost shoot, carried it to the land of merchants, and planted it in a city of traders.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high
cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his
young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent:
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take a shoot from the lofty top of the
cedar, and I will set it out. I will
pluck a tender
sprig from its
topmost shoots, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
And say, What is thy mother? A
lioness: she lay down among lions, she
nourished her whelps among
young lions.
and say: ‘What was your mother? A
lioness among the lions! She lay down among the
young lions; she reared her cubs.
And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a
young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it
devoured men.
She brought up one of her cubs, and he became a
young lion. After learning to
tear his prey, he
devoured men.
Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion.
When she saw that she had waited in vain, that her hope was lost, she took another of her cubs and made him a young lion.
And he went up and down among the lions, he became a
young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and
devoured men.
He
prowled among the lions, and became a
young lion. After learning to
tear his prey, he
devoured men.
Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable
young men,
horsemen riding upon horses.
clothed in blue, governors and commanders, all desirable
young men,
horsemen mounted on steeds.
She
doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most
gorgeously,
horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable
young men.
She too
lusted after the Assyrians—governors and commanders, warriors dressed in
splendor,
horsemen riding on steeds, all desirable
young men.
So you revisited the
indecency of your youth, when the Egyptians
caressed your
bosom and pressed your
young breasts.
The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable
young men, captains and rulers, great lords and
renowned, all of them riding upon horses.
the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod, Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them—all desirable
young men, governors and commanders, officers and men of
renown, mounted on horses.
The
young men of
Aven and of
Pi-beseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.
The
young men of On and
Pi-beseth will fall by the sword, and those cities will go into captivity.
All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
All the birds of the air nested in its branches, and all the beasts of the field gave birth beneath its boughs; all the great nations lived in its shade.
Son of man, take up a
lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a
young lion of the nations, and thou art as a
whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
“Son of man, take up a
lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him: ‘You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a
monster in the seas. You
thrash about in your rivers,
churning up the waters with your feet and
muddying the streams.’
Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of
Tarshish, with all the
young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a
spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great
spoil?
Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of
Tarshish with all its villages will ask, ‘Have you come to capture the
plunder? Have you assembled your hordes to carry away
loot, to make off with silver and gold, to take cattle and goods, to seize great
spoil?’
So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about.
the face of a man was toward the palm tree on one side, and the face of a young lion was toward the palm tree on the other side. They were carved all the way around the temple.
And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of
Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a
young bullock for a sin offering.
You are to give a
young bull from the
herd as a sin offering to the
Levitical priests who are of the family of
Zadok, who approach Me to minister before Me, declares the Lord GOD.
Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a
young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without
blemish.
For seven days you are to provide a male goat daily for a sin offering; you are also to provide a
young bull and a ram from the flock, both
unblemished.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a
young bullock without
blemish, and
cleanse the sanctuary:
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘On the first day of the first month you are to take a
young bull without
blemish and
purify the sanctuary.
And in the day of the new moon it shall be a
young bullock without
blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without
blemish.
On the day of the New Moon he shall offer a
young,
unblemished bull, six lambs, and a ram without
blemish.
Children in whom was no
blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and
cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
young men without
blemish, handsome, gifted in all wisdom, knowledgeable, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace—and to teach them the language and literature of the Chaldeans.
Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and
Azariah:
Among these
young men were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and
Azariah.
And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me
endanger my head to the king.
but he said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who has assigned your food and drink. For why should he see your faces looking
thinner than those of the other
young men your age? You would
endanger my head before the king!”
Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
Then compare our appearances with those of the young men who are eating the royal food, and deal with your servants according to what you see.”
And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat.
And at the end of ten days, they looked healthier and better
nourished than all the
young men who were eating the king’s food.
As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding in every kind of literature and wisdom. And Daniel had insight into all kinds of visions and dreams.
And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and
Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.
And the king spoke with them, and among all the
young men he found no one equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and
Azariah. So they entered the king’s service.
For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a
young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will
tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall
rescue him.
For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a
young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will
tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can
rescue them.
And I will restore to you the years that the
locust hath eaten, the
cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the
palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your
young men shall see visions:
And afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will
prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your
young men will see visions.
And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your
young men for
Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
I raised up prophets from your sons and Nazirites from your young men. Is this not true, O children of Israel?” declares the LORD.
Will a lion
roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a
young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
Does a lion
roar in the forest when he has no prey? Does a
young lion
growl in his den if he has caught nothing?
I have sent among you the
pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your
young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the
stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
“I sent plagues among you like those of Egypt; I killed your
young men with the sword, along with your captured horses. I filled your nostrils with the
stench of your camp, yet you did not return to Me,” declares the LORD.
In that day shall the fair virgins and
young men
faint for
thirst.
In that day the lovely
young women— the
young men as well— will
faint from
thirst.
And the
remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a
young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
Then the
remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a
young lion among flocks of sheep, which tramples and tears as it passes through, with no one to
rescue them.
Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feeding place of the
young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion’s
whelp, and none made them afraid?
Where is the lions’
lair or the feeding ground of the
young lions, where the lion and
lioness prowled with their cubs, with nothing to
frighten them away?
Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her
chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall
devour thy
young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.
“Behold, I am against you,” declares the LORD of Hosts. “I will send your
chariots up in smoke, and the sword will
devour your
young lions. I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voices of your messengers will no longer be heard.”
Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity: her
young children also were
dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains.
Yet she became an exile; she went into captivity. Her infants were
dashed to pieces at the head of every street. They cast lots for her
dignitaries, and all her nobles were bound in chains.
Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven: the
cankerworm spoileth, and fleeth away.
You have multiplied your merchants more than the stars of the sky. The
young locust strips the land and
flies away.
And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
and said to him, “Run and tell that
young man: ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the multitude of men and
livestock within it.
For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the
young men
cheerful, and new wine the maids.
How lovely they will be, and how beautiful! Grain will make the
young men
flourish, and new wine, the
young women.
For, lo, I will raise up a
shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the
young one, nor
heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and
tear their claws in pieces.
For behold, I will raise up a
shepherd in the land who will neither care for the lost, nor seek the
young, nor
heal the broken, nor
sustain the healthy, but he will
devour the flesh of the choice sheep and
tear off their
hooves.
And he sent them to
Bethlehem, and said, Go and search
diligently for the
young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
And sending them to
Bethlehem, he said: “Go and search carefully for the Child, and when you find Him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship Him.”
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went
ahead of them until it stood over the place where the Child was.
And when they were come into the house, they saw the
young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and
frankincense, and
myrrh.
On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and
frankincense and
myrrh.
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the
young child and his mother, and
flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the
young child to destroy him.
When the
Magi had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and
flee to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”
When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
So he got up, took the Child and His mother by night, and withdrew to Egypt,
Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.
“Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and go to the land of Israel, for those seeking the Child’s life are now dead.”
And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
So Joseph got up, took the Child and His mother, and went to the land of Israel.
The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
“All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?”
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.
For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
Instead, a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit soon heard about Jesus, and she came and fell at His feet.
