punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the
pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

destroyed.

tumult of their voices will resound.
The Lord was as an enemy: he hath
swallowed up Israel, he hath

daubed with untempered
morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

tear down the wall you
whitewashed and level it to the ground, so that its foundation is exposed. The city will fall, and you will be
destroyed within it. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou
destroyed, that
wast inhabited of
seafaring men, the
renowned city, which
wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that
haunt it!
Then they will
lament for you, saying, “How you have perished, O city of
renown inhabited by
seafaring men— she who was powerful on the sea, along with her people, who imposed terror on all peoples!
And in their
wailing they shall take up a
lamentation for thee, and
lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the
destroyed in the midst of the sea?
As they
wail and
mourn over you, they will take up a
lament for you: ‘Who was ever like Tyre, silenced in the middle of the sea?

spoil the
pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be
destroyed.

ruthless of all nations. They will
ravage the pride of Egypt and all her multitudes will be
destroyed.
And they shall say, This land that was
desolate is become like the garden of
Eden; and the waste and
desolate and ruined cities are become
fenced, and are inhabited.
Then they will say, ‘This land that was
desolate has become like the garden of
Eden. The cities that were once ruined,
desolate, and
destroyed are now fortified and inhabited.’
Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was
desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
Then the nations around you that remain will know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt what was
destroyed, and I have replanted what was
desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be
destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and
consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will
shatter all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself stand
forever.

tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and

hereby decree that in every part of my kingdom, men are to
tremble in fear before the God of Daniel: For He is the living God, and He endures

destroyed, and His dominion will never end.
I
beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I
beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body
destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

arrogant words the horn was speaking. As I continued to watch, the beast was slain, and its body was
destroyed and thrown into the
blazing fire.
And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an
everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be
destroyed.

kingship, that the people of every nation and language should serve Him. His dominion is an
everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be
destroyed.
But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to
consume and to destroy it unto the end.
But the court will
convene, and his dominion will be taken away and completely
destroyed forever.

destroyed, though not in anger or in battle.

destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also
forget thy children.

destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also
reject you as My priests. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also
forget your children.

Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be
destroyed: the
thorn and the
thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

Aven will be
destroyed— it is the sin of Israel; thorns and thistles will overgrow their altars. Then they will say to the mountains, “Cover us!” and to the hills, “Fall on us!”

destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.

drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and
