While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard his message.
And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light
shined in the prison: and he
smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains
fell off from his hands.

shone in the cell. He
tapped Peter on the side and
woke him up, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains
fell off his wrists.
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there
fell on him a
mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
Now look, the hand of the Lord is against you, and for a time you will be blind and unable to see the light of the sun.” Immediately
mist and darkness came over him, and he
groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

fell asleep. His body was buried with his fathers and saw decay.
Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave
audience to
Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
The whole assembly
fell silent as they
listened to
Barnabas and Paul describing the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.
But the Jews which believed not, moved with
envy, took unto them certain
lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an
uproar, and
assaulted the house of
Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.
The Jews, however, became
jealous. So they brought in some troublemakers from the marketplace, formed a
mob, and sent the city into an
uproar. They
raided Jason’s house in search of Paul and
Silas, hoping to bring them out to the people.

And when the townclerk had
appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the
Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess
Diana, and of the image which
fell down from Jupiter?
Finally the city clerk quieted the crowd and declared, “Men of Ephesus, doesn’t
everyone know that the city of Ephesus is
guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of her image, which
fell from heaven?
So if
Demetrius and his
fellow craftsmen have a
complaint against
anyone, the courts are open and proconsuls are available. Let them bring charges against one another there.
And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and
fell down from the third
loft, and was taken up dead.
And a certain young man named Eutychus, seated in the window, was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound
asleep, he
fell from the third story and was
picked up dead.
And Paul went down, and
fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not
yourselves; for his life is in him.
But Paul went down, threw himself on the young man, and embraced him. “Do not be
alarmed!” he said. “He is still alive!”
They all
wept openly as they embraced Paul and
kissed him.

fell silent and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”

persecute Me?’
And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a
trance;
Later, when I had returned to Jerusalem and was praying at the temple, I
fell into a
trance And they gave him
audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a
fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.
The crowd
listened to Paul until he made this statement. Then they lifted up their voices and
shouted, “Rid the earth of him! He is not fit to live!”
And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to
kick against the pricks.
We all
fell to the ground, and I heard a voice say to me in Hebrew, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you
persecute Me? It is hard for you to
kick against the goads.’
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
For even Christ did not please Himself, but as it is written: “The insults of those who
insult You have fallen on Me.”
Greet Prisca and
Aquila, my
fellow workers in Christ Jesus,
Salute Andronicus and Junia, my
kinsmen, and my
fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.
Greet Andronicus and Junia, my
fellow countrymen and
fellow prisoners. They are outstanding among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was.
Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.
Greet Urbanus, our
fellow worker in Christ, and my beloved Stachys.
Timothy, my
fellow worker, sends you greetings, as do
Lucius,
Jason, and Sosipater, my
fellow countrymen.
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the
fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
God, who has called you into
fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s
husbandry, ye are God’s building.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
And ye are
puffed up, and have not rather
mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have been
stricken with grief and have removed from your
fellowship the man who did this?
Neither let us commit
fornication, as some of them committed, and
fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
Consider the people of Israel: Are not those who eat the sacrifices fellow partakers in the altar?
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have
fellowship with devils.
No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God. And I do not want you to be participants with demons.
That ye submit
yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
to submit to such as these, and to every fellow worker and laborer.
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
Not that we lord it over your faith, but we are fellow workers with you for your joy, because it is by faith that you stand firm.
We then, as workers together with him,
beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
As God’s
fellow workers, then, we
urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what
fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what
partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what
fellowship does light have with darkness?
Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the
fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
they earnestly
pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.
Whether any do
enquire of
Titus, he is my
partner and
fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.
As for
Titus, he is my
partner and
fellow worker among you. As for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, to the glory of Christ.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.
Amen.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the
fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
And when James,
Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and
Barnabas the right hands of
fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the
circumcision.
And recognizing the grace that I had been given, James,
Cephas, and John—those reputed to be pillars—gave me and
Barnabas the right hand of
fellowship, so that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the
circumcised.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
This
mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are
fellow heirs,
fellow members of the body, and
fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.
And to make all men see what is the
fellowship of the
mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been
hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
And have no
fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Have no
fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather
expose them.
For your
fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
because of your
partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,
Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any
fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and
compassion,
Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and
fellow soldier, but your
messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
But I thought it necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother,
fellow worker, and
fellow soldier, who is also your
messenger and minister to my needs.
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the
fellowship of his sufferings, being made
conformable unto his death;
I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the
fellowship of His sufferings, being
conformed to Him in His death,
And I intreat thee also, true
yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my
fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
Yes, and I ask you, my true
yokefellow, to help these women who have labored with me for the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my
fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
As ye also learned of Epaphras our
dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
You learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,
All my state shall
Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and
fellowservant in the Lord:
Tychicus will tell you all the news about me. He is a beloved brother, a faithful minister, and a
fellow servant in the Lord.
Aristarchus my
fellowprisoner saluteth you, and
Marcus, sister’s son to
Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
My
fellow prisoner
Aristarchus sends you greetings, as does Mark the cousin of
Barnabas. You have already received instructions about him: If he comes to you,
welcome him.
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the
circumcision. These only are my
fellow workers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
Jesus, who is called Justus, also sends greetings. These are the only Jews among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.
And sent
Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our
fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and
Timothy our brother, unto
Philemon our
dearly beloved, and
fellowlabourer,
Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and
Timothy our brother, To
Philemon our beloved
fellow worker,
And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church that meets at your house:
There
salute thee Epaphras, my
fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;
Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings,
as do Mark,
Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my
fellow workers.
Thou hast loved righteousness, and
hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath
anointed thee with the oil of
gladness above thy
fellows.
You have loved righteousness and
hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has
anointed You above Your companions with the oil of joy.”
But with whom was he
grieved forty years? was it not with them that had
sinned, whose carcases
fell in the wilderness?
And with whom was God
angry for forty years? Was it not with those who
sinned, whose bodies
fell in the wilderness?
By faith the walls of
Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
By faith the walls of
Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as a delicate vessel, and with honor as
fellow heirs of the
gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
The elders which are among you I
exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a
partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
As a
fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings, and a
partaker of the glory to be revealed, I appeal to the elders among you:
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers
fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
“Where is the promise of His coming?” they will ask. “Ever since our fathers
fell asleep, everything continues as it has from the beginning of creation.”
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have
fellowship with us: and truly our
fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
We
proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have
fellowship with us. And this
fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
If we say that we have
fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
If we say we have
fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have
fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.
Therefore we ought to support such men, so that we may be fellow workers for the truth.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
When He had taken the
scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders
fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a
harp, and they were holding golden
bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
And the four beasts said,
Amen. And the four and twenty elders
fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
And the four living creatures said, “
Amen,” and the elders
fell down and worshiped.
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Then each of them was given a white
robe and told to rest a little while longer, until the full number of their
fellow servants, their brothers, were killed, just as they had been killed.
And the stars of heaven
fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is
shaken of a mighty wind.
and the stars of the sky
fell to the earth like unripe figs
dropping from a tree
shaken by a great wind.
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. And they fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God,
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
Then the third angel sounded his
trumpet, and a great star burning like a
torch fell from heaven and landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
And the same hour was there a great
earthquake, and the tenth part of the city
fell, and in the
earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the
remnant were
affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
And in that hour there was a great
earthquake, and a tenth of the city
collapsed. Seven thousand were killed in the
quake, and the rest were
terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,
And the first went, and poured out his
vial upon the earth; and there
fell a
noisome and
grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
So the first angel went and poured out his
bowl on the earth, and
loathsome,
malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations
fell: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations
collapsed. And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the
fury of His wrath.
And there
fell upon men a great
hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men
blasphemed God because of the plague of the
hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
And great hailstones weighing almost a hundred pounds each rained down on them from above. And men
cursed God for the plague of
hail, because it was so
horrendous.
And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts
fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying,
Amen;
Alleluia.
And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures
fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying: “
Amen,
Hallelujah!”
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
So I
fell at his feet to worship him. But he told me, “Do not do that! I am a
fellow servant with you and your brothers who
rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
And I am John, who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”
And all the people answered,
Amen; and lifting up their hands they
fell to the ground, and worshipped the Lord.
And it so came to pass, that when my son was entered into his
wedding chamber, he
fell down, and died.
And they were all mixed together; the blast of fire, the flaming breath, and the great
tempest; and
fell with violence upon the multitude which was prepared to fight, and burned them up every one, so that upon a sudden of an innumerable multitude nothing was to be perceived, but only dust and smell of smoke: when I saw this I was afraid.
And when I was in mine own country, in the land of Israel being but young, all the tribe of Nephthali my father
fell from the house of Jerusalem, which was chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, that all the tribes should sacrifice there, where the temple of the
habitation of the most High was consecrated and built for all ages.
Then
Anna ran forth, and
fell upon the neck of her son, and said unto him, Seeing I have seen thee, my son, from henceforth I am content to die. And they
wept both.
And the whiteness
pilled away from the corners of his eyes: and when he saw his son, he
fell upon his neck.
Then they were both troubled, and fell upon their faces: for they feared.
And
bury me decently, and thy mother with me; but
tarry no longer at Nineve. Remember, my son, how Aman handled Achiacharus that brought him up, how out of light he brought him into darkness, and how he rewarded him again: yet Achiacharus was saved, but the other had his reward: for he went down into darkness. Manasses gave
alms, and escaped the snares of death which they had set for him: but Aman
fell into the
snare, and perished.
Therefore the fear and
dread of him
fell upon all the inhabitants of the sea coasts, which were in
Sidon and Tyrus, and them that dwelt in Sur and Ocina, and all that dwelt in Jemnaan; and they that dwelt in
Azotus and
Ascalon feared him greatly.
Thus every man and women, and the little children, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
fell before the temple, and cast ashes upon their heads, and spread out their
sackcloth before the face of the Lord: also they put
sackcloth about the altar,
Then the people
fell down and worshipped God, and
cried unto God. saying,
Therefore their young children were out of heart, and their women and young men
fainted for
thirst, and
fell down in the streets of the city, and by the passages of the gates, and there was no longer any strength in them.
