Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
So they will eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
My
fruit is better than gold,
yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
My fruit is better than gold, pure gold, and my harvest surpasses choice silver.
The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
The labor of the righteous leads to life, but the gain of the wicked brings punishment.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.
The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
A man shall be satisfied with good by the
fruit of his mouth: and the
recompense of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.
By fruitful speech a man is filled with good things, and the work of his hands returns to him.
A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
From the fruit of his lips a man enjoys good things, but the desire of the faithless is violence.
A man’s
belly shall be satisfied with the
fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
From the
fruit of his mouth a man’s
belly is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the
fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
Whoever tends a fig tree will eat its
fruit, and he who looks after his master will be honored.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the
fruit of her hands she planteth a
vineyard.
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Give her the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her at the gates.
I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:
I made gardens and parks for myself, where I planted all kinds of fruit trees.
As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest is my beloved among the young men. I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste.
Your branches are an
orchard of pomegranates with the choicest of
fruits, with
henna and
nard,
Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant
fruits.
Awake, O north wind, and come, O south wind.
Breathe on my garden and spread the
fragrance of its spices. Let my beloved come into his garden and taste its choicest
fruits.
I went down into the garden of nuts to see the
fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates
budded.
I went down to the
walnut grove to see the blossoms of the valley, to see if the vines were
budding or the pomegranates were in
bloom.
This thy
stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes.
Your
stature is like a palm tree; your breasts are clusters of
fruit.
I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;
I said, “I will
climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its
fruit.” May your breasts be like clusters of the vine, the
fragrance of your breath like apples,
The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.
The mandrakes send forth a
fragrance, and at our door is every delicacy, new as well as old, that I have
treasured up for you, my beloved.
Solomon had a
vineyard at
Baal-
hamon; he let out the
vineyard unto keepers; every one for the
fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.
Solomon had a
vineyard in
Baal-
hamon. He
leased it to the tenants. For its
fruit, each was to bring a thousand shekels of silver.
My
vineyard, which is mine, is before me: thou, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the
fruit thereof two hundred.
But my own
vineyard is mine to give; the thousand shekels are for you, O Solomon, and two hundred are for those who tend its
fruit.
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor.
In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
On that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of Israel’s survivors.
Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his
vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a
vineyard in a very
fruitful hill:
I will sing for my beloved a song of his
vineyard: My beloved had a
vineyard on a very fertile hill.
And he
fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
He
dug it up and cleared the stones and planted the finest vines. He built a
watchtower in the middle and
dug out a winepress as well. He waited for the
vineyard to yield good grapes, but the
fruit it produced was
sour!
What could have been done more to my
vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
What more could I have done for My
vineyard than I already did for it? Why, when I expected sweet grapes, did it bring forth
sour fruit?
Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount
Zion and on Jerusalem, I will
punish the
fruit of the
stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
So when the Lord has completed all His work against Mount
Zion and Jerusalem, He will say, “I will
punish the king of Assyria for the
fruit of his
arrogant heart and the proud look in his eyes.
And shall
consume the glory of his forest, and of his
fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.
The
splendor of its forests and orchards, both soul and body, it will completely destroy, as a sickness consumes a man.
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of
Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Then a shoot will spring up from the
stump of
Jesse, and a Branch from his roots will bear
fruit.
Their bows also shall
dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no
pity on the
fruit of the
womb; their eye shall not
spare children.
Their bows will
dash young men to pieces; they will have no mercy on the
fruit of the
womb; they will not look with
pity on the children.
Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that
smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a
cockatrice, and his
fruit shall be a
fiery flying serpent.
Do not
rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken. For a
viper will spring from the root of the
snake, and a flying serpent from its egg.
Therefore I will
bewail with the
weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O
Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the
shouting for thy summer
fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
So I
weep with Jazer for the vines of Sibmah; I
drench Heshbon and Elealeh with my tears.
Triumphant shouts have fallen silent over your summer
fruit and your harvest.
Yet
gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the
shaking of an olive tree, two or three
berries in the top of the
uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost
fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.
Yet gleanings will remain, like an olive tree that has been beaten— two or three
berries atop the tree, four or five on its
fruitful branches,” declares the LORD, the God of Israel.
In that day sing ye unto her, A
vineyard of red wine.
In that day: “Sing about a
fruitful vineyard.
He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall
blossom and
bud, and fill the face of the world with
fruit.
In the days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will
bud and
blossom and fill the whole world with
fruit.
By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be
purged; and this is all the
fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in
sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
Therefore Jacob’s guilt will be
atoned for, and the full
fruit of the removal of his sin will be this: When he makes all the altar stones like
crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.
And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a
fading flower, and as the
hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it
seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
The
fading flower of his beautiful
splendor, set on the summit above the fertile valley, will be like a ripe fig before the summer harvest:
Whoever sees it will take it in his hand and
swallow it.
Is it not yet a very little while, and
Lebanon shall be turned into a
fruitful field, and the
fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?
Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the
vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
In a little more than a year you will
tremble, O secure ones. For the
grape harvest will fail and the
fruit harvest will not arrive.
They shall
lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the
fruitful vine.
Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines,
Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high. Then the desert will be an
orchard, and the
orchard will seem like a forest.
Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
Then justice will inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness will dwell in the fertile field.
And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year
sow ye, and
reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the
fruit thereof.
And this will be a sign to you, O
Hezekiah: This year you will eat what grows on its own, and in the second year what springs from the same. But in the third year you will
sow and
reap; you will plant vineyards and eat their
fruit.
And the
remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root
downward, and bear
fruit upward:
And the
surviving remnant of the house of Judah will again take root below and bear
fruit above.
I
create the
fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will
heal him.
bringing praise to their lips. Peace, peace to those far and near,” says the LORD, “and I will
heal them.”
And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
I brought you into a fertile land to eat its
fruit and
bounty, but you came and
defiled My land, and made My inheritance
detestable.
I
beheld, and, lo, the
fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
I looked, and the
fruitful land was a desert. All its cities were
torn down before the LORD, before His fierce anger.
Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the
fruit of their thoughts, because they have not
hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
Hear, O earth! I am bringing
disaster on this people, the
fruit of their own schemes, because they have paid no attention to My word and have rejected My instruction.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my
fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the
fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be
quenched.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, My anger and My
fury will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and the produce of the land, and it will burn and not be
extinguished.
The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly
fruit: with the noise of a great
tumult he hath
kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
The LORD once called you a flourishing olive tree, beautiful with well-formed
fruit. But with a mighty
roar He will set it on fire, and its branches will be consumed.
But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
For I was like a gentle lamb led to slaughter; I did not know that they had
plotted against me: “Let us destroy the tree with its
fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be remembered no more.”
Thou hast planted them,
yea, they have taken root: they grow,
yea, they bring forth
fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their
reins.
You planted them, and they have taken root. They have grown and produced fruit. You are ever on their lips, but far from their hearts.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of
drought, neither shall cease from yielding
fruit.
He is like a tree planted by the waters that sends out its roots toward the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes, and its leaves are always green. It does not
worry in a year of
drought, nor does it cease to produce
fruit.
I the LORD search the heart, I try the
reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the
fruit of his doings.
I, the LORD, search the heart; I examine the mind to reward a man according to his way, by what his deeds deserve.
But I will
punish you according to the
fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will
kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall
devour all things round about it.
I will
punish you as your deeds deserve, declares the LORD. I will
kindle a fire in your forest that will
consume everything around you.’”
And I will gather the
remnant of my flock out of all countries
whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be
fruitful and increase.
Then I Myself will gather the
remnant of My flock from all the lands to which I have banished them, and I will return them to their pasture, where they will be
fruitful and multiply.
Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
“Build houses and settle down. Plant gardens and eat their produce.
For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
For he has sent to us in Babylon, claiming: Since the exile will be
lengthy, build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat their produce.’”
Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; the farmers will plant and enjoy the fruit.
Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
the One great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are on all the ways of the sons of men, to reward each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds.
As for me, behold, I will dwell at
Mizpah to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer
fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.
As for me, I will stay in
Mizpah to represent you before the Chaldeans who come to us. As for you, gather wine grapes, summer
fruit, and oil, place them in your
storage jars, and live in the cities you have taken.”
Even all the Jews returned out of all places
whither they were driven, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah, unto
Mizpah, and gathered wine and summer
fruits very much.
they all returned from all the places to which they had been banished and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah at
Mizpah. And they gathered an abundance of wine grapes and summer
fruit.
O vine of Sibmah, I will
weep for thee with the
weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the
spoiler is fallen upon thy summer
fruits and upon thy
vintage.
I will
weep for you, O vine of Sibmah, more than I
weep for Jazer. Your tendrils have extended to the sea; they reach even to Jazer. The destroyer has descended on your summer
fruit and
grape harvest.
Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O
backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?
Why do you
boast of your valleys— your valleys so
fruitful, O faithless daughter? You trust in your riches and say, ‘Who can come against me?’
Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?
Look, O LORD, and consider: Whom have You ever treated like this? Should women eat their offspring, the infants they have
nurtured? Should priests and prophets be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord?
They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away,
stricken through for want of the
fruits of the field.
Those slain by the sword are better off than those who die of hunger, who waste away, pierced with pain because the fields lack produce.
He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a
fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a
willow tree.
He took some of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil; he placed it by abundant waters and set it out like a
willow.
It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.
It had been planted in good soil by abundant waters in order to yield branches and bear fruit and become a splendid vine.’
Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it
prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the
fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to
pluck it up by the roots thereof.
So you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Will it
flourish? Will it not be uprooted and
stripped of its
fruit so that it shrivels? All its foliage will wither! It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it up by its roots.
In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear
fruit, and be a goodly
cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
I will plant it on the mountain heights of Israel so that it will bear branches; it will yield
fruit and become a
majestic cedar. Birds of every kind will nest under it, taking shelter in the shade of its branches.
Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.
Your mother was like a vine in your
vineyard, planted by the water; it was
fruitful and full of branches because of the abundant waters.
But she was
plucked up in
fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her
fruit: her strong rods were broken and
withered; the fire consumed them.
But it was uprooted in
fury, cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up its
fruit. Its strong branches were
stripped off and they
withered; the fire consumed them.
And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath
devoured her
fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a
sceptre to rule. This is a
lamentation, and shall be for a
lamentation.
Fire has gone out from its main branch and
devoured its
fruit; on it no strong branch remains fit for a ruler’s
scepter.’ This is a
lament and shall be used as a
lament.”
Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
therefore I will indeed give you as a possession to the people of the East. They will set up their camps and pitch their tents among you. They will eat your fruit and drink your milk.
And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.
The trees of the field will give their
fruit, and the land will yield its produce; My flock will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and delivered them from the hands that
enslaved them.
But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.
But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and bear fruit for My people Israel, for they will soon come home.
And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
I will fill you with people and animals, and they will multiply and be
fruitful. I will make you as inhabited as you once were, and I will make you
prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
I will also make the
fruit of the trees and the crops of the field
plentiful, so that you will no longer bear reproach among the nations on account of famine.
And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not
fade, neither shall the
fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new
fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the
fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
Along both banks of the river,
fruit trees of all kinds will grow. Their leaves will not wither, and their
fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear
fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their
fruit will be used for food and their leaves for
healing.”
The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.
Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit was abundant, and upon it was food for all. Under it the beasts of the field found shelter, in its branches the birds of the air nested, and from it every creature was fed.
He
cried aloud, and said thus,
Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches,
shake off his leaves, and
scatter his
fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:
He called out in a loud voice: ‘Cut down the tree and
chop off its branches; strip off its leaves and
scatter its
fruit. Let the beasts
flee from under it, and the birds from its branches.
Whose leaves were fair, and the
fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their
habitation:
whose foliage was beautiful and whose fruit was abundant, providing food for all, under which the beasts of the field lived, and in whose branches the birds of the air nested—
Ephraim is
smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no
fruit:
yea, though they bring forth, yet will I
slay even the beloved
fruit of their
womb.
Ephraim is struck down; their root is
withered; they cannot bear
fruit. Even if they bear children, I will
slay the darlings of their wombs.
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
Israel was a
luxuriant vine, yielding
fruit for himself. The more his
fruit increased, the more he increased the altars. The better his land produced, the better he made the sacred pillars.
Sow to
yourselves in righteousness,
reap in mercy; break up your
fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Sow for
yourselves righteousness and
reap the
fruit of loving devotion; break up your
unplowed ground. For it is time to seek the LORD until He comes and sends righteousness upon you like rain.
Ye have
plowed wickedness, ye have
reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the
fruit of lies: because thou
didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
You have
plowed wickedness and
reaped injustice; you have eaten the
fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your own way and in the multitude of your mighty men,
Though he be
fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall
spoil the
treasure of all pleasant vessels.
Although he
flourishes among his brothers, an east wind will come— a wind from the LORD rising up from the desert. His fountain will fail, and his spring will run dry. The wind will
plunder his treasury of every precious article.
Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us
graciously: so will we render the
calves of our lips.
Bring your confessions and return to the LORD. Say to Him: “Take away all our iniquity and receive us
graciously, that we may present the
fruit of our lips.
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green
fir tree. From me is thy
fruit found.
O Ephraim, what have I to do anymore with idols? It is I who answer and watch over him. I am like a flourishing
cypress; your
fruit comes from Me.
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
Do not be afraid, O beasts of the field, for the open pastures have turned green, the trees bear their fruit, and the fig tree and vine yield their best.
Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like that of the cedars, and he was as strong as the oaks. Yet I destroyed his fruit above and his roots below.
Shall horses run upon the rock? will one
plow there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the
fruit of righteousness into
hemlock:
“Do horses
gallop on the cliffs? Does one
plow the sea with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison and the
fruit of righteousness into
wormwood—
Then answered
Amos, and said to
Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an
herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore
fruit:
“I was not a prophet,”
Amos replied, “nor was I the son of a prophet; rather, I was a
herdsman and a tender of
sycamore-fig trees.
Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a
basket of summer
fruit.
This is what the Lord GOD showed me: I saw a
basket of summer
fruit.
And he said,
Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A
basket of summer
fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
“
Amos, what do you see?” He asked. “A
basket of summer
fruit,” I replied. So the LORD said to me, “The end has come for My people Israel; I will no longer
spare them.”
And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
I will restore My people Israel from captivity; they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.
