swallow it.

behavior in the
valley; acknowledge what you have done. You are a swift young she-

And they have built the high places of
Tophet, which is in the
valley of the son of
Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Valley of
Hinnom so they could burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I never commanded, nor did it even enter My mind.
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called
Tophet, nor the
valley of the son of
Hinnom, but the
valley of slaughter: for they shall
bury in
Tophet, till there be no place.
So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth and the
Valley of
Hinnom, but the
Valley of Slaughter. For they will
bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.
And go forth unto the
valley of the son of
Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and
proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee,
and go out to the
Valley of Ben-
hinnom near the entrance of the
Potsherd Gate.
Proclaim there the words I speak to you,
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called
Tophet, nor The
valley of the son of
Hinnom, but The
valley of slaughter.
So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth or the

valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the
brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be

valley of the dead bodies and ashes, and all the fields as far as the Kidron
Valley, to the corner of the Horse Gate to the east, will be holy to the LORD. It will never again be uprooted or
demolished.”
And they built the high places of
Baal, which are in the
valley of the son of
Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto
Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this
abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
They have built the high places of
Baal in the
Valley of
Hinnom to make their sons and daughters pass through the fire to
Molech—something I never commanded them, nor had it ever entered My mind, that they should commit such an
abomination and cause Judah to sin.
Men shall
buy fields for money, and
subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the
valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the LORD.

spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the
valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.

Wherefore gloriest thou in the
valleys, thy flowing
valley, O
backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?
Why do you
boast of your
valleys— your
valleys so fruitful, O faithless daughter? You trust in your riches and say, ‘Who can come against me?’
And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.

But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the
valleys, all of them
mourning, every one for his iniquity.

And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the
valleys, to the
desolate wastes, and to the cities that are
forsaken, which became a prey and
derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD. This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and
valleys, to the
desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have become a
spoil and a
mockery to the rest of the nations around you.
Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the
valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my
fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
Therefore,
prophesy concerning the land of Israel and tell the mountains and hills, the ravines and
valleys, that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I have spoken in My burning zeal because you have
endured the reproach of the nations.
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by His Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones.
And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
He led me all around among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, and indeed, they were very dry.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto
Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the
valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they
bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The
valley of
Hamon-
gog.
And on that day I will give
Gog a burial place in Israel, the
Valley of the Travelers, east of the Sea. It will block those who travel through, because
Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the
Valley of
Hamon-
gog.
And the passengers that pass through the land, when any
seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the
valley of
Hamon-
gog.
As they pass through the land,
anyone who sees a human bone will set up a
pillar next to it, until the gravediggers have buried it in the
Valley of
Hamon-
gog.

And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the
valley of
Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
There I will give back her vineyards and make the
Valley of
Achor into a
gateway of hope. There she will
respond as she did in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.
I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the
valley of
Jehoshaphat, and will
plead with them there for my people and for my
heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the
Valley of
Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning My people, My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations as they divided up My land.
Let the heathen be
wakened, and come up to the
valley of
Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
Let the nations be
roused and advance to the
Valley of
Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit down to judge all the nations on every side.

valley of
Shittim.
And in that day the mountains will
drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. All the streams of Judah will run with water, and a spring will flow from the house of the LORD to water the
Valley of
Acacias.
I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of
Aven, and him that holdeth the
sceptre from the house of
Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.
I will break down the gates of Damascus; I will cut off the ruler of the
Valley of
Aven and the one who wields the
scepter in Beth-
eden. The people of
Aram will be exiled to Kir,” says the LORD.

molten under him, and the

valleys will split apart, like wax before the fire, like water
rushing down a slope.
Therefore I will make Samaria as an
heap of the field, and as plantings of a
vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the
valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

heap of
rubble in the open field, a planting area for a
vineyard. I will pour her stones into the
valley and
expose her foundations.

mourning in Jerusalem, as the
mourning of Hadadrimmon in the

cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great
valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half the mountain moving to the north and half to the south.
And ye shall
flee to the
valley of the mountains; for the
valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal:
yea, ye shall
flee, like as ye fled from before the
earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
You will
flee by My mountain
valley, for it will extend to Azal. You will
flee as you fled from the
earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him.
Every
valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the
crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

valley shall be filled in, and every mountain and hill made low. The
crooked ways shall be made straight, and the rough ways smooth.

bag of meat: so they
twain went together according to their custom unto prayer: and when they passed the camp, they compassed the
valley, and went up the mountain of Bethulia, and came to the gates thereof.
For God hath appointed that every high hill, and banks of long continuance, should be cast down, and valleys filled up, to make even the ground, that Israel may go safely in the glory of God,
So part of the king’s army being spread upon the high mountains, and part on the valleys below, they marched on safely and in order.
