way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in
thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.

yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”

womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

For John came unto you in the
way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it,

repent and believe him.

way, on the outside you appear to be righteous, but on the inside you are full of
hypocrisy and wickedness.

yourself to the priest and present the offering Moses prescribed for your
cleansing, as a testimony to them.”

And these are they by the
way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard,
Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
Some are like the seeds along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it,
Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.

way?”
But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.
But they were silent, for on the
way they had been
arguing about which of them was the greatest.
And when he was gone forth into the
way, there came one running, and
kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may

ahead of you, and as soon as you enter it, you will find a

Untie it and bring it here.
And they went their
way, and found the
colt tied by the door without in a place where two
ways met; and they loose him.

ways shall be made smooth;

crooked ways shall be made straight, and the rough
ways smooth.
But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
But Jesus passed through the crowd and went on His way.

way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the
tiling with his
couch into the midst before Jesus.
but they could not find a
way through the crowd. So they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the
tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
Rejoice ye in that day, and
leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
Rejoice in that day and
leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For their fathers treated the prophets in the same
way.
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the

cleansed, the
deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

lame walk, the lepers are
cleansed, the
deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.

way before You.’

sowing, some seed fell along the path, where it was
trampled, and the birds of the air
devoured it.
Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
The seeds along the path are those who hear, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are
choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
The seeds that fell among the thorns are those who hear, but as they go on their
way, they are
choked by the
worries, riches, and pleasures of this life, and their fruit does not
mature.
Return to thine own house, and
shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his
way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

And it came to pass, that, as they went in the
way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee

Go your
ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among
wolves.
Go! I am sending you out like lambs among
wolves.
But into
whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your
ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
But if you enter a town and they do not
welcome you, go into the streets and declare,
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
Now by chance a priest was going down the same road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
When thou goest with thine
adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the
way, give
diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he
hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
Make every effort to
reconcile with your
adversary while you are on your
way to the magistrate. Otherwise, he may
drag you off to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and the officer may throw you into prison.
And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
Or what king on his
way to war with another king will not first sit down and consider whether he can
engage with ten thousand men the one coming against him with twenty thousand?
Or else, while the other is yet a great
way off, he sendeth an
ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
And if he is unable, he will send a
delegation while the other king is still far off, to ask for terms of peace.
So likewise,
whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
In the same way, any one of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be My disciple.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one
sinner that repenteth, more than over
ninety and nine just persons, which need no
repentance.
In the same
way, I tell you that there will be more joy in heaven over one
sinner who repents than over
ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to
repent.
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one
sinner that repenteth.
In the same
way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one
sinner who repents.”
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great
way off, his father saw him, and had
compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and
kissed him.
So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with
compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and
kissed him.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

way into it.

way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and

shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were
cleansed.
When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go, show
yourselves to the priests.” And as they were on their
way, they were
cleansed.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Then Jesus said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well!”
And it came to pass, that as he was come
nigh unto
Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the
way side
begging:
As Jesus drew near to
Jericho, a blind man was sitting beside the road,
begging.
And they which went before
rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he
cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Those who led the
way admonished him to be silent, but he
cried out all the louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
And he ran before, and
climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that
way.
And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
So those who were sent went out and found it just as Jesus had told them.
