Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
The time will surely come when everything in your palace and all that your fathers have stored up until this day will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the LORD.
For
Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
For
Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep still,
until her righteousness shines like a bright light, her salvation like a
blazing torch.
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
nor give Him any rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
and through the days of
Jehoiakim son of
Josiah king of Judah,
until the fifth month of the
eleventh year of
Zedekiah son of
Josiah king of Judah, when the people of Jerusalem went into exile.
Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
From the day your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets again and again.
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called
Tophet, nor the valley of the son of
Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall
bury in
Tophet, till there be no place.
So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth and the Valley of
Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter. For they will
bury the dead in Topheth
until there is no more room.
I will
scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.
I will
scatter them among the nations that neither they nor their fathers have known, and I will send a sword after them
until I have finished them off.”
For I earnestly
protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and
protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
For from the time I brought your fathers out of the land of Egypt
until today, I strongly
warned them again and again, saying, ‘Obey My voice.’
And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a
potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall
bury them in
Tophet, till there be no place to
bury.
and you are to
proclaim to them that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: I will
shatter this nation and this city, like one
shatters a
potter’s
jar that can never again be repaired. They will
bury the dead in Topheth
until there is no more room to
bury them.
The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
The anger of the LORD will not turn back until He has fully accomplished the purposes of His heart. In the days to come you will understand this clearly.
And I will send the sword, the famine, and the
pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
And I will send against them sword and famine and plague, until they have perished from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.’”
From the
thirteenth year of
Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and
twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not
hearkened.
“From the
thirteenth year of
Josiah son of Amon king of Judah
until this very day—twenty-three years—the word of the LORD has come to me, and I have spoken to you again and again, but you have not
listened.
And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
All nations will serve him and his son and grandson,
until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will
enslave him.
And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same
Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I
punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the
pestilence,
until I have consumed them by his hand.
As for the nation or kingdom that does not serve
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and does not place its neck under his yoke, I will
punish that nation by sword and famine and plague, declares the LORD,
until I have destroyed it by his hand.
They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
‘They will be carried to Babylon and will remain there until the day I attend to them again,’ declares the LORD. ‘Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place.’”
The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.
The fierce anger of the LORD will not turn back until He has fully accomplished the purposes of His heart. In the days to come you will understand this.
And he shall lead
Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be
until I visit him, saith the LORD: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not
prosper?
He will take
Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will stay
until I attend to him, declares the LORD. If you fight against the Chaldeans, you will not succeed.’”
For this city hath been to me as a
provocation of mine anger and of my
fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,
For this city has
aroused My wrath and
fury from the day it was built
until now. Therefore I will remove it from My presence
Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of
Josiah, even into this day.
“Take a
scroll and write on it all the words I have spoken to you concerning Israel, Judah, and all the nations, from the day I first spoke to you during the reign of
Josiah until today.
And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the
penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the
hearth,
until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the
hearth.
And as soon as Jehudi had read three or four columns,
Jehoiakim would cut them off with a
scribe’s knife and throw them into the
firepot,
until the entire
scroll had been consumed by the fire.
Then
Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers street,
until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
So King
Zedekiah gave orders for Jeremiah to be placed in the
courtyard of the guard and given a
loaf of bread daily from the street of the bakers,
until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the
courtyard of the guard.
So Jeremiah abode in the court of the prison until the day that Jerusalem was taken: and he was there when Jerusalem was taken.
And Jeremiah remained in the
courtyard of the guard
until the day Jerusalem was captured.
Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.
I am watching over them for
harm and not for good, and every man of Judah who is in the land of Egypt will meet his end by sword or famine,
until they are finished off.
For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of
vengeance, that he may
avenge him of his
adversaries: and the sword shall
devour, and it shall be
satiate and made
drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.
For that day belongs to the Lord GOD of Hosts, a day of
vengeance against His foes. The sword will
devour until it is satisfied,
until it is
quenched with their blood. For the Lord GOD of Hosts will hold a sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.
O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be
ere thou be quiet? put up
thyself into thy
scabbard, rest, and be still.
‘
Alas, O sword of the LORD, how long
until you rest? Return to your
sheath; cease and be still!’
For I will cause
Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
So I will
shatter Elam before their foes, before those who seek their lives. I will bring
disaster upon them, even My fierce anger,” declares the LORD. “I will send out the sword after them
until I finish them off.
For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that
Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
For because of the anger of the LORD, all this happened in Jerusalem and Judah,
until He finally banished them from His presence. And
Zedekiah also rebelled against the king of Babylon.
Then he put out the eyes of
Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
Then he put out
Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him with bronze
shackles, and took him to Babylon, where he kept him in
custody until his dying day.
And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
And the king of Babylon provided
Jehoiachin a daily portion for the rest of his life,
until the day of his death.
Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.
until the LORD looks down from heaven and sees.
And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
Now behold, I will
tie you up with ropes so you cannot turn from side to side
until you have finished the days of your siege.
Then said I,
Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been
polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is
torn in pieces; neither came there
abominable flesh into my mouth.
“
Ah, Lord GOD,” I said, “I have never
defiled myself. From my youth
until now I have not eaten anything found dead or
mauled by wild beasts. No unclean meat has ever entered my mouth.”
I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
A ruin, a ruin, I will make it a ruin! And it will not be restored until the arrival of Him to whom it belongs, to whom I have assigned the right of judgment.’
Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the
filthiness of it may be
molten in it, that the
scum of it may be consumed.
Set the empty pot on its coals
until it becomes hot and its copper glows. Then its impurity will
melt within; its
rust will be consumed.
Thou
wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou
wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
From the day you were created you were
blameless in your ways—
until wickedness was found in you.
Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening,
afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth,
until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more
dumb.
Now the evening before the
fugitive arrived, the hand of the LORD was upon me, and He opened my mouth before the man came to me in the morning. So my mouth was opened and I was no longer
mute.
Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;
Since you
shove with
flank and shoulder,
butting all the weak ones with your horns
until you have scattered them abroad,
And the passengers that pass through the land, when any
seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of
Hamon-
gog.
As they pass through the land,
anyone who sees a human bone will set up a
pillar next to it,
until the gravediggers have buried it in the Valley of
Hamon-
gog.
And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be
drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
At the sacrifice I am preparing, you will eat fat
until you are
gorged and drink blood
until you are
drunk.
When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.
Once the priests have entered the holy area, they must not go out into the outer court until they have left behind the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. They are to put on other clothes before they approach the places that are for the people.”
And the prince shall enter by the way of the
porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the
threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut
until the evening.
The prince is to enter from the outside through the
portico of the
gateway and stand by the
gatepost, while the priests sacrifice his burnt offerings and peace offerings. He is to bow in worship at the
threshold of the gate and then depart, but the gate must not be shut
until evening.
But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them.
But if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it will belong to that servant
until the year of freedom; then it will
revert to the prince. His inheritance belongs only to his sons; it shall be theirs.
And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.
And Daniel remained there until the first year of King Cyrus.
That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the
dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to
whomsoever he will.
You will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling will be with the beasts of the field. You will feed on grass like an ox and be
drenched with the
dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass you by,
until you acknowledge that the Most High rules over the kingdom of mankind and gives it to whom He wishes.
And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee,
until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to
whomsoever he will.
You will be driven away from mankind to live with the beasts of the field, and you will feed on grass like an ox. And seven times will pass you by, until you acknowledge that the Most High rules over the kingdom of mankind and gives it to whom He wishes.”
The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon
Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the
dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles feathers, and his
nails like birds’ claws.
At that moment the sentence against
Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from mankind. He
ate grass like an ox, and his body was
drenched with the
dew of heaven,
until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his
nails like the claws of a bird.
And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild
asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the
dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it
whomsoever he will.
He was driven away from mankind, and his mind was like that of a beast. He lived with the wild
donkeys and
ate grass like an ox, and his body was
drenched with the
dew of heaven
until he acknowledged that the Most High God rules over the kingdom of mankind, setting over it whom He wishes.
Then the king, when he heard these words, was
sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
As soon as the king heard this, he was deeply distressed and set his mind on delivering Daniel, and he labored
until sundown to
rescue him.
The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I
beheld till the wings thereof were
plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
The first beast was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched
until its wings were
torn off and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, and given the mind of a man.
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
until the Ancient of Days arrived and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for them to possess the kingdom.
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
He will speak out against the Most High and
oppress the saints of the Most High, intending to change the appointed times and laws; and the saints will be given into his hand for a time, and times, and half a time.
Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the
transgression of
desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be
trodden under foot?
Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long
until the
fulfillment of the vision of the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes
desolation, and the surrender of the sanctuary and of the host to be
trampled?”
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the
Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and
threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in
troublous times.
Know and understand this: From the
issuance of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem,
until the
Messiah, the Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with streets and a
trench, but in times of distress.
And after
threescore and two weeks shall
Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Then after the sixty-two weeks the
Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing. Then the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood, and
until the end there will be war; desolations have been decreed.
And he shall
confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the
oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even
until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the
desolate.
And he will
confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple will come the
abomination that causes
desolation,
until the decreed destruction is poured out upon him.”
I
ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I
anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
I
ate no rich food, no meat or wine entered my mouth, and I did not
anoint myself with oil
until the three weeks were completed.
And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to
purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
Some of the wise will fall, so that they may be refined,
purified, and made spotless
until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall
exalt himself, and
magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall
prosper till the
indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
Then the king will do as he pleases and will
exalt and
magnify himself above every god, and he will speak
monstrous things against the God of gods. He will be successful
until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been decreed must be accomplished.
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
“At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations
until that time. But at that time your people—
everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and
fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
But you, Daniel, shut up these words and seal the book
until the time of the end. Many will
roam to and
fro, and knowledge will increase.”
And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
One of them said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long
until the
fulfillment of these wonders?”
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
“Go on your way, Daniel,” he replied, “for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.
But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
But as for you, go on your way until the end. You will rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their
affliction they will seek me early.
Then I will return to My place
until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their
affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
Sow to
yourselves in righteousness,
reap in mercy; break up your
fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Sow for
yourselves righteousness and
reap the fruit of loving devotion; break up your
unplowed ground. For it is time to seek the LORD
until He comes and sends righteousness upon you like rain.
And ye shall eat in
plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt
wondrously with you: and my people shall never be
ashamed.
You will have
plenty to eat,
until you are satisfied. You will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you. My people will never again be put to shame.
Therefore will he give them up,
until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the
remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
Therefore Israel will be abandoned until she who is in labor has given birth; then the rest of His brothers will return to the children of Israel.
I will bear the
indignation of the LORD, because I have
sinned against him,
until he
plead my cause, and
execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
Because I have
sinned against Him, I must
endure the
rage of the LORD,
until He argues my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me into the light; I will see His righteousness.
Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy
bottle to him, and makest him
drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin
until they are
drunk, in order to
gaze at their nakedness!
Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD,
until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may
assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine
indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be
devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
Therefore wait for Me,” declares the LORD, “
until the day I rise to
testify. For My decision is to gather nations, to
assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them My
indignation— all My burning anger. For all the earth will be consumed by the fire of My jealousy.
I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of
Gilead and
Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to
Gilead and
Lebanon until no more room is found for them.
So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
In all, then, there were fourteen generations from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ.
And knew her not till she had brought forth her
firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a Son. And he gave Him the name Jesus.
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went
ahead of them
until it stood over the place where the Child was.
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and
flee into Egypt, and be thou there
until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
When the
Magi had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and
flee to Egypt. Stay there
until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”
And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
where he stayed until the death of Herod. This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”
For
verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one
jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
For I tell you truly,
until heaven and earth pass away, not a single
jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law
until everything is accomplished.
Truly I tell you, you will not get out
until you have paid the last
penny.
And into
whatsoever city or town ye shall enter,
enquire who in it is worthy; and there
abide till ye go thence.
Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy there and stay at his house until you move on.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subject to violence, and the violent lay claim to it.
For all the prophets and the law
prophesied until John.
For all the Prophets and the Law
prophesied until John.
And thou,
Capernaum, which art
exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to
hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in
Sodom, it would have remained
until this day.
And you,
Capernaum, will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in
Sodom, it would have remained to this day.
Let both grow together
until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my
barn.
Let both grow together
until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and
tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my
barn.’”
Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto
leaven, which a woman took, and
hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was
leavened.
He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like
leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour,
until all of it was
leavened.”
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell
anyone about this vision
until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!
And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
But he refused. Instead, he went and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay his debt.
And his lord was
wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be
tortured,
until he should repay all that he owed.
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy
footstool?
‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
For I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
For then shall be great
tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
For at that time there will be great
tribulation,
unmatched from the beginning of the world
until now, and never to be seen again.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.

And they were
oblivious,
until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on
until that day when I drink it
anew with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and
steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
