Berean Standard Bible BSB Bible
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to
undo the heavy burdens,
and to let the
oppressed go free,
and that ye break every yoke?
Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to break the chains of wickedness, to
untie the cords of the yoke, to set the
oppressed free
and tear off every yoke?
Is it not to deal thy bread to the
hungry,
and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him;
and that thou hide not
thyself from thine own flesh?
Isn’t it to share your bread with the
hungry, to bring the poor
and homeless into your home, to
clothe the naked when you see him,
and not to turn away from your own flesh
and blood?
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
Then your light will break forth like the
dawn,
and your
healing will come quickly. Your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
Then you will call,
and the LORD will answer; you will cry out,
and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you remove the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger
and malicious talk,
And if thou draw out thy soul to the
hungry,
and satisfy the
afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity,
and thy darkness be as the
noonday:
and if you give
yourself to the
hungry and satisfy the
afflicted soul, then your light will go forth in the darkness,
and your night will be like
noonday.
And the LORD shall guide thee continually,
and satisfy thy soul in
drought,
and make fat thy bones:
and thou shalt be like a watered garden,
and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
The LORD will always guide you; He will satisfy you in a sun-
scorched land
and strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will restore the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of the Streets of Dwelling.
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
If you turn your foot from breaking the Sabbath, from doing as you please on My holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight, and the LORD’s holy day honorable, if you honor it by not going your own way or seeking your own pleasure or speaking idle words,
Then shalt thou delight
thyself in the LORD;
and I will cause thee to
ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed thee with the
heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
then you will delight
yourself in the LORD,
and I will make you
ride on the heights of the land
and feed you with the
heritage of your father Jacob.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
But your
iniquities have separated between you
and your God,
and your sins have
hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
But your
iniquities have built barriers between you
and your God,
and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear.
For your hands are
defiled with blood,
and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath
muttered perverseness.
For your hands are
stained with blood,
and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies,
and your tongue mutters injustice.
None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
No one calls for justice; no one pleads his case
honestly. They
rely on empty pleas; they tell lies; they conceive mischief
and give birth to iniquity.
Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
Their cobwebs cannot be made into clothing, and they cannot cover themselves with their works. Their deeds are sinful deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands.
Their feet run to evil,
and they make
haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting
and destruction are in their paths.
Their feet run to evil; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are sinful thoughts; ruin
and destruction lie in their
wake.
The way of peace they know not;
and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them
crooked paths:
whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
The way of peace they have not known,
and there is no justice in their tracks. They have turned them into
crooked paths; no one who treads on them will know peace.
Therefore is judgment far from us, neither
doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
Therefore justice is far from us,
and righteousness does not reach us. We hope for light, but there is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in
gloom.
Like the blind, we feel our way along the wall,
groping like those without eyes. We
stumble at
midday as in the
twilight; among the vigorous we are like the dead.
We
roar all like bears,
and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
We all
growl like bears
and moan like doves. We hope for justice, but find none, for salvation, but it is far from us.
For our transgressions are multiplied before thee,
and our sins
testify against us: for our transgressions are with us;
and as for our
iniquities, we know them;
For our transgressions are multiplied before You,
and our sins
testify against us. Our transgressions are indeed with us,
and we know our
iniquities:
In
transgressing and lying against the LORD,
and departing away from our God, speaking oppression
and revolt, conceiving
and uttering from the heart words of
falsehood.
rebelling and denying the LORD, turning away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering lies from the heart.
And judgment is turned away backward,
and justice standeth
afar off: for truth is fallen in the street,
and equity cannot enter.
So justice is turned away,
and righteousness stands at a distance. For truth has
stumbled in the public square,
and honesty cannot enter.
Yea, truth faileth;
and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey:
and the LORD saw it,
and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
Truth is missing,
and whoever turns from evil becomes prey. The LORD looked
and was displeased that there was no justice.
And he saw that there was no man,
and wondered that there was no
intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him;
and his righteousness, it sustained him.
He saw that there was no man; He was
amazed that there was no one to
intercede. So His own arm brought salvation,
and His own righteousness sustained Him.
For he put on righteousness as a
breastplate,
and an
helmet of salvation upon his head;
and he put on the garments of
vengeance for clothing,
and was
clad with zeal as a
cloke.
According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay,
fury to his
adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
So shall they fear the name of the LORD where the sun sets,
and His glory where it rises. For He will come like a
raging flood, driven by the breath of the LORD.
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit will not depart from you, and My words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouths of your children and grandchildren, from now on and forevermore,” says the LORD.
Arise,
shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Arise,
shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your
dawn.
Lift up thine eyes round about,
and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far,
and thy daughters shall be
nursed at thy side.
Lift up your eyes
and look around: They all gather
and come to you; your sons will come from
afar,
and your daughters will be carried on the arm.
Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
Then you will look
and be
radiant,
and your heart will
tremble and swell with joy, because the riches of the sea will be brought to you,
and the wealth of the nations will come to you.
The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the
dromedaries of
Midian and Ephah; all they from
Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold
and incense;
and they shall
shew forth the praises of the LORD.
All the flocks of
Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar,
and I will
glorify the house of my glory.
All the flocks of
Kedar will be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth will serve you
and go up on My altar with acceptance; I will
adorn My glorious house.
Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
Who are these who fly like clouds, like doves to their shelters?
Surely the isles shall wait for me,
and the ships of
Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver
and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God,
and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath
glorified thee.
Surely the islands will wait for Me, with the ships of
Tarshish in the lead, to bring your children from
afar, with their silver
and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for He has
glorified you.
And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls,
and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I
smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in anger, yet in favor I will show you mercy.
Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
Your gates will always stand open; they will never be shut, day or night, so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in
procession.
For the nation
and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish;
yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly destroyed.
The glory of
Lebanon shall come unto thee, the
fir tree, the pine tree,
and the box together, to
beautify the place of my sanctuary;
and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
The sons also of them that
afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee;
and all they that
despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet;
and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The
Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
The sons of your oppressors will come
and bow down to you; all who
reviled you will fall facedown at your feet
and call you the City of the LORD,
Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Whereas thou hast been
forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal
excellency, a joy of many generations.
Thou shalt also
suck the milk of the Gentiles,
and shalt
suck the breast of kings:
and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour
and thy
Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
You will drink the milk of nations
and nurse at the breasts of
royalty; you will know that I, the LORD, am your
Savior and your
Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
Instead of bronze I will bring you gold; I will bring silver in place of iron, bronze instead of wood,
and iron instead of stones. I will
appoint peace as your governor
and righteousness as your ruler.
Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders. But you will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an
everlasting light,
and thy God thy glory.
No longer will the sun be your light by day, nor the brightness of the moon
shine on your night; for the LORD will be your
everlasting light,
and your God will be your
splendor.
Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine
everlasting light,
and the days of thy
mourning shall be ended.
Your sun will no longer set,
and your moon will not
wane; for the LORD will be your
everlasting light,
and the days of your sorrow will cease.
A little one shall become a thousand,
and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will
hasten it in his time.
The least of you will become a thousand,
and the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will
accomplish it quickly.
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath
anointed me to
preach good
tidings unto the
meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the
captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has
anointed Me to
preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the
captives and freedom to the prisoners,
To
appoint unto them that
mourn in
Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for
mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be
glorified.
to
console the mourners in
Zion— to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for
mourning,
and a garment of praise for a spirit of
despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be
glorified.
And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will restore the places long
devastated; they will renew the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
And strangers shall stand
and feed your flocks,
and the sons of the
alien shall be your plowmen
and your vinedressers.
Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners will be your plowmen and vinedressers.
But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,
and in their glory shall ye
boast yourselves.
But you will be called the priests of the LORD; they will speak of you as ministers of our God; you will feed on the wealth of nations,
and you will
boast in their riches.
For your shame ye shall have double;
and for confusion they shall
rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double:
everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Instead of shame, My people will have a double portion,
and instead of
humiliation, they will
rejoice in their share;
and so they will
inherit a double portion in their land,
and everlasting joy will be theirs.
For I the LORD love judgment, I
hate robbery for burnt offering;
and I will direct their work in truth,
and I will make an
everlasting covenant with them.
And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
Their descendants will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.
I will greatly
rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the
robe of righteousness, as a
bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a
bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
I will
rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will
exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation
and wrapped me in a
robe of righteousness, as a
bridegroom wears a priestly
headdress, as a
bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the earth bringeth forth her
bud,
and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness
and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
For as the earth brings forth its growth, and as a garden enables seed to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
For
Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace,
and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness,
and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
For
Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep still, until her righteousness shines like a bright light, her salvation like a
blazing torch.
And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Nations will see your righteousness,
and all kings your glory. You will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will
bestow.
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD,
and a royal
diadem in the hand of thy God.
You will be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, a royal
diadem in the palm of your God.
Thou shalt no more be termed
Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed
Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-
bah,
and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee,
and thy land shall be married.
No longer will you be called
Forsaken, nor your land named
Desolate; but you will be called Hephzibah,
and your land Beulah; for the LORD will take delight in you,
and your land will be His
bride.
For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee:
and as the
bridegroom rejoiceth over the
bride, so shall thy God
rejoice over thee.
For as a young man marries a young woman, so your sons will marry you;
and as a
bridegroom rejoices over his
bride, so your God will
rejoice over you.
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
nor give Him any rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
The LORD hath
sworn by his right hand,
and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies;
and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
The LORD has
sworn by His right hand
and by His mighty arm: “Never again will I give your grain to your enemies for food, nor will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have
toiled.
But they that have gathered it shall eat it,
and praise the LORD;
and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my
holiness.
For those who harvest grain will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather grapes will drink the wine in My holy courts.”
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of
Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him,
and his work before him.
Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the ends of the earth, “Say to Daughter
Zion: See, your
Savior comes! Look, His reward is with Him,
and His
recompense goes before Him.”
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD:
and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not
forsaken.
And they will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of The LORD;
and you will be called Sought Out, A City Not
Forsaken.
Wherefore art thou red in thine
apparel,
and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
Why are Your clothes red, and Your garments like one who treads the winepress?
I have
trodden the winepress alone;
and of the people there was none with me: for I will
tread them in mine anger,
and trample them in my
fury;
and their blood shall be
sprinkled upon my garments,
and I will
stain all my
raiment.
“I have
trodden the winepress alone,
and no one from the nations was with Me. I
trampled them in My anger
and trod them down in My
fury; their blood
spattered My garments,
and all My clothes were
stained.
For the day of
vengeance is in mine heart,
and the year of my redeemed is come.
And I looked,
and there was none to help;
and I wondered that there was none to
uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me;
and my
fury, it
upheld me.
I looked, but there was no one to help; I was
appalled that no one assisted. So My arm brought Me salvation,
and My own wrath
upheld Me.
And I will
tread down the people in mine anger,
and make them
drunk in my
fury,
and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
I
trampled the nations in My anger; in My wrath I made them
drunk and poured out their blood on the ground.”
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD,
and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us,
and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his
mercies,
and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
I will make known the LORD’s loving devotion
and His
praiseworthy acts, because of all that the LORD has done for us— the many good things for the house of Israel according to His great
compassion and loving devotion.
In all their
affliction he was
afflicted,
and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love
and in his
pity he redeemed them;
and he bare them,
and carried them all the days of old.
In all their distress, He too was
afflicted,
and the Angel of His Presence saved them. In His love
and compassion He redeemed them; He lifted them up
and carried them all the days of old.
But they rebelled,
and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy,
and he fought against them.
But they rebelled
and grieved His Holy Spirit. So He turned
and became their enemy,
and He Himself fought against them.
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses,
and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the
shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
Then His people remembered the days of old, the days of Moses. Where is He who brought them through the sea with the
shepherds of His flock? Where is the One who set His Holy Spirit among them,
Look down from heaven,
and behold from the
habitation of thy
holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal
and thy strength, the sounding of thy
bowels and of thy
mercies toward me? are they restrained?
Look down from heaven
and see, from Your holy
and glorious
habitation. Where are Your zeal
and might? Your
yearning and compassion for me are restrained.
Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us,
and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our
redeemer; thy name is from
everlasting.
Yet You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us
and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O LORD, are our Father; our
Redeemer from
Everlasting is Your name.
O LORD, why hast thou made us to
err from thy ways,
and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
Why, O LORD, do You make us
stray from Your ways
and harden our hearts from fearing You? Return, for the sake of Your servants, the tribes of Your
heritage.
Oh that thou wouldest
rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
If only You would
rend the heavens
and come down, so that mountains would
quake at Your presence,
As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to
boil, to make thy name known to thine
adversaries, that the nations may
tremble at thy presence!
as fire kindles the
brushwood and causes the water to
boil, to make Your name known to Your enemies, so that the nations will
tremble at Your presence!
When thou
didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
When You did
awesome works that we did not expect, You came down,
and the mountains
trembled at Your presence.
Thou meetest him that rejoiceth
and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art
wroth; for we have
sinned: in those is continuance,
and we shall be saved.
You
welcome those who
gladly do right, who remember Your ways. Surely You were
angry, for we
sinned. How can we be saved if we remain in our sins?
But we are all as an unclean thing,
and all our righteousnesses are as
filthy rags;
and we all do
fade as a leaf;
and our
iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Each of us has become like something unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like
filthy rags; we all wither like a leaf,
and our
iniquities carry us away like the wind.
And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast
hid thy face from us,
and hast consumed us, because of our
iniquities.
No one calls on Your name or strives to take hold of You. For You have hidden Your face from us and delivered us into the hand of our iniquity.
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay,
and thou our
potter;
and we all are the work of thy hand.
But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay,
and You are the
potter; we are all the work of Your hand.
Thy holy cities are a wilderness,
Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a
desolation.
Your holy cities have become a wilderness.
Zion has become a wasteland
and Jerusalem a
desolation.
Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
Our holy
and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, has been burned with fire,
and all that was
dear to us lies in ruins.
After all this, O LORD, will You restrain
Yourself? Will You keep silent
and afflict us beyond measure?
A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
to a people who continually
provoke Me to My face, sacrificing in the gardens
and burning incense on altars of brick,
Which remain among the graves,
and lodge in the monuments, which eat
swine’s flesh,
and broth of
abominable things is in their vessels;
Your
iniquities,
and the
iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains,
and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their
bosom.
both for your
iniquities and for those of your fathers,” says the LORD. “Because they burned incense on the mountains
and scorned Me on the hills, I will measure into their laps full payment for their former deeds.”
Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the
cluster,
and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
This is what the LORD says: “As the new wine is found in a
cluster of grapes,
and men say, ‘Do not destroy it, for it contains a blessing,’ so I will act on behalf of My servants; I will not destroy them all.
And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob,
and out of Judah an
inheritor of my mountains:
and mine
elect shall
inherit it,
and my servants shall dwell there.
And I will bring forth descendants from Jacob,
and heirs from Judah; My
elect will possess My mountains,
and My servants will dwell there.
And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks,
and the valley of
Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
Sharon will become a pasture for flocks,
and the Valley of
Achor a resting place for herds, for My people who seek Me.
But ye are they that
forsake the LORD, that
forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that
troop,
and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
But you who
forsake the LORD, who
forget My holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune
and fill
bowls of mixed wine for
Destiny,
