Neither
from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and
blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
Neither you nor a foreigner shall present food to your God
from any such animal. They will not be accepted on your behalf, because they are
deformed and
flawed.’”
When a
bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the
dam; and
from the eighth day and
thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
“When an ox, a sheep, or a goat is born, it must remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
And ye shall count unto you
from the
morrow after the sabbath,
from the day that ye brought the
sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the
sheaf of the wave offering, you are to count off seven full weeks.
Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave
loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be
baken with
leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.
Bring two
loaves of bread
from your dwellings as a wave offering, each made
from two-tenths of an
ephah of fine flour,
baked with
leaven, as the firstfruits to the LORD.
For
whatsoever soul it be that shall not be
afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off
from among his people.
If
anyone does not humble himself on this day, he must be cut off
from his people.
And
whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy
from among his people.
I will destroy
from among his people
anyone who does any work on this day.
It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall
afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even,
from even unto even, shall ye
celebrate your sabbath.
It will be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you shall humble
yourselves.
From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to keep your Sabbath.”
Without the
vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it
from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
Outside the
veil of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps continually before the LORD
from evening until morning. This is to be a permanent statute for the generations to come.
Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken
from the children of Israel by an
everlasting covenant.
Every Sabbath day the bread is to be set out before the LORD on behalf of the Israelites as a permanent covenant.
For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
For it is a
Jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You may eat only the crops taken directly
from the field.
And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour’s hand, ye shall not
oppress one another:
If you make a sale to your
neighbor or a purchase
from him, you must not take advantage of each other.
According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt
buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
You are to
buy from your
neighbor according to the number of years since the last
Jubilee; he is to sell to you according to the number of harvest years remaining.
And ye shall
sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.
While you are
sowing in the eighth year, you will be eating
from the previous harvest, until the ninth year’s harvest comes in.
Take thou no
usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.
Do not take any interest or profit
from him, but fear your God, that your
countryman may live among you.
And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.
Then he and his children are to be released, and he may return to his clan and to the property of his fathers.
Both thy
bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye
buy bondmen and bondmaids.
Your menservants and maidservants shall come from the nations around you, from whom you may purchase them.
Moreover of the children of the strangers that do
sojourn among you, of them shall ye
buy, and of their families that are with you, which they
begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
You may also purchase them from the foreigners residing among you or their clans living among you who are born in your land. These may become your property.
Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may
redeem him, or any that is
nigh of
kin unto him of his family may
redeem him; or if he be able, he may
redeem himself.
either his uncle or cousin or any close relative
from his clan may
redeem him. Or if he prospers, he may
redeem himself.
And he shall
reckon with him that bought him
from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an
hired servant shall it be with him.
He and his purchaser will then count the time
from the year he sold himself up to the Year of
Jubilee. The price of his sale will be determined by the number of years, based on the daily wages of a
hired hand.
And as a yearly
hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight.
He shall be treated like a man
hired from year to year, but a foreign owner must not rule over him harshly in your sight.
And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a
faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a
shaken leaf shall
chase them; and they shall
flee, as
fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
As for those of you who
survive, I will send a
faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies, so that even the sound of a windblown leaf will put them to flight. And they will
flee as one flees the sword, and fall when no one pursues them.
And thy
estimation shall be of the male
from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy
estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the
shekel of the sanctuary.
if the
valuation concerns a male
from twenty to sixty years of age, then your
valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the sanctuary
shekel.
And if it be
from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy
estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
And if the person is
from five to twenty years of age, then your
valuation for the male shall be twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
And if it be
from a month old even unto five years old, then thy
estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy
estimation shall be three shekels of silver.
Now if the person is
from one month to five years of age, then your
valuation for the male shall be five shekels of silver, and for the female three shekels of silver.
And if it be
from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy
estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
And if the person is sixty years of age or older, then your
valuation shall be fifteen shekels for the male and ten shekels for the female.
If he
sanctify his field
from the year of jubile, according to thy
estimation it shall stand.
If he consecrates his field during the Year of
Jubilee, the price will stand according to your
valuation.
But if he
sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall
reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be
abated from thy
estimation.
But if he consecrates his field after the
Jubilee, the priest is to
calculate the price in proportion to the years left until the next Year of
Jubilee, so that your
valuation will be reduced.
In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.
In the Year of
Jubilee the field shall return to the one
from whom it was bought—the original owner of the land.
Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall
devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.
Nothing that a man sets apart to the LORD from all he owns—whether a man, an animal, or his inherited land—can be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy to the LORD.
And all the
tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.
Thus any
tithe from the land, whether
from the seed of the land or the fruit of the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.
And concerning the
tithe of the
herd, or of the flock, even of
whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.
Every tenth animal
from the
herd or flock that passes under the
shepherd’s rod will be holy to the LORD.

And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
Assign the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they have been given exclusively to him
from among the Israelites.
And I, behold, I have taken the Levites
from among the children of Israel instead of all the
firstborn that openeth the
matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
“Behold, I have taken the Levites

anyone who has a bodily discharge, and
anyone who is
defiled by a dead body.
And a man lie with her
carnally, and it be
hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be
defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
by sleeping with another man, and it is concealed from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she was not caught in the act),
And the priest shall take holy water in an
earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
Then he is to take some holy water in a clay
jar and put some of the dust
from the tabernacle floor into the water.
And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have
lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free
from this bitter water that causeth the
curse:
And he is to put the woman under oath and say to her, ‘If no other man has
slept with you and you have not gone
astray and become
defiled while under your husband’s authority, may you be
immune to this bitter water that brings a
curse.
Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
The priest shall take from her hand the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the LORD, and bring it to the altar.
