How is the gold become
dim! how is the most
fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street.
How the gold has become
tarnished, the pure gold has become dull! The
gems of the temple lie scattered on every street corner.
The precious sons of
Zion, comparable to
fine gold, how are they esteemed as
earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the
potter!
How the precious sons of
Zion, once worth their weight in pure gold, are now esteemed as jars of clay, the work of a
potter’s hands!
The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders.
The presence of the LORD has scattered them; He regards them no more. The priests are shown no honor; the elders find no favor.

We are closely pursued; we are

fine linen, silk, and
embroidered cloth. You
ate fine flour, honey, and oil. You became very beautiful and rose to be queen.
Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to
thyself images of men, and
didst commit
whoredom with them,
You also took the
fine jewelry of gold and silver I had given you, and you made male idols with which to
prostitute yourself.
My meat also which I gave thee,
fine flour, and oil, and honey,
wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.
And you set before them as a pleasing
aroma the food I had given you—the
fine flour, oil, and honey that I had fed you. That is what happened, declares the Lord GOD.

profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

They will strip off your clothes and take your
fine jewelry.

calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
Because you
harbored an ancient hatred and delivered the Israelites over to the sword in the time of their
disaster at the
final stage of their punishment,

final: If you do not tell me the dream and its interpretation, you will be cut into pieces and your houses will be reduced to

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron:
forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and
bruise.
Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; for iron
shatters and crushes all things, and like iron that crushes all things, it will
shatter and
crush all the others.
In the same hour came forth
fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the
candlestick upon the
plaister of the wall of the king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

Then the presidents and princes sought to
find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could
find none occasion nor fault;
forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Thus the administrators and satraps sought a charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom, but they could
find no charge or corruption, because he was
trustworthy, and no
negligence or corruption was found in him.
Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Finally these men said, “We will never find any charge against this Daniel, unless we find something against him concerning the law of his God.”

finish the
transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make
reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in
everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to

girded with
fine gold of Uphaz:

waist.
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and
sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to
scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be
finished.
And the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him
swear by Him who lives
forever, saying, “It will be for a time, and times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people has
finally been
shattered, all these things will be completed.”
Therefore, behold, I will
hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not
find her paths.
Therefore, behold, I will
hedge up her path with thorns; I will
enclose her with a wall, so she cannot
find her way.
And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.

Asshur shall not save us; we will not
ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless
findeth mercy.
Assyria will not save us, nor will we
ride on horses. We will never again say, ‘Our gods!’ to the work of our own hands. For in You the fatherless
find compassion.”

And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to
pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in
pledge. And in the house of their God, they drink wine obtained through
fines.
You drink wine by the bowlful and
anoint yourselves with the
finest oils, but you fail to
grieve over the ruin of Joseph.
And they shall
wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and
fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not
find it.

stagger from sea to sea and
roam from north to east, seeking the word of the LORD, but they will not
find it.

remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed
thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.
The coast will belong to the
remnant of the house of Judah; there they will
find pasture. They will lie down in the evening among the houses of Ashkelon, for the LORD their God will attend to them and restore their
captives.
The hands of
Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also
finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and
heaped up silver as the dust, and

Bethlehem, and said, Go and search
diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

find Him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship Him.”
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall
find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will
find;
knock, and the door will be opened to you.
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
For
everyone who asks receives; he who seeks
finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

And their eyes were opened. Jesus
warned them sternly, “See that no one
finds out about this!”

whatsoever city or town ye shall enter,
enquire who in it is worthy; and there

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through
arid places seeking rest and does not
find it.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he
findeth it empty, swept, and
garnished.
Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ On its return, it
finds the house
vacant, swept clean, and put in order.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there; and the
final plight of that man is worse than the first. So will it be with this wicked generation.”

The disciples replied, “Where in this
desolate place could we
find enough bread to feed such a large crowd?”

whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall
find it.
For
whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but
whoever loses his life for My sake will
find it.
Notwithstanding, lest we should
offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt
find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
“But so that we may not
offend them, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take the first fish you catch. When you open its mouth, you will
find a four-
drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for My tax and yours.”
And if so be that he
find it,
verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the
ninety and nine which went not
astray.
And if he
finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices more over that one sheep than over the
ninety-nine that did not go
astray.
And it came to pass, that when Jesus had

Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and
straightway ye shall
find an
ass tied, and a
colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
saying to them, “Go into the village
ahead of you, and at once you will
find a
donkey tied there, with her
colt beside her.

highways, and as many as ye shall
find,
bid to the marriage.
Go therefore to the crossroads and
invite to the
banquet as many as you can
find.’

highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the
wedding was furnished with guests.

everyone they could
find, both evil and good, and the
wedding hall was filled with guests.
For they bind heavy burdens and
grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their
fingers.
They
tie up heavy,
burdensome loads and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a
finger to move them.
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man,
reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

reaping where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.

Then Jesus returned to the disciples and found them sleeping. “Were you not able to keep watch with Me for one hour?” He asked Peter.
But found none:
yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,
But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward
And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his
fingers into his ears, and he
spit, and touched his tongue;

ahead of you, and as soon as you enter it, you will
find a
colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat.
Untie it and bring it here.
And seeing a fig tree
afar off having leaves, he came, if
haply he might
find any thing
thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if there was any fruit on it. But when He reached it, He found nothing on it except leaves, since it was not the season for figs.
Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

fine linen, and took him down, and
wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a
sepulchre which was
hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the
sepulchre.

wrapped it in the cloth, and placed it in a tomb that had been cut out of the rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance to the tomb.

luxury are found in palaces.

find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

knock, and the door will be opened to you.
