rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.

Reuben said this so that he could
rescue Joseph from their hands and return him to his father.
And he made him to
ride in the second
chariot which he had; and they
cried before him, Bow the
knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

knee!” So he placed him over all the land of Egypt.
Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

Amorites with my sword and bow.”
Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his
rider shall fall backward.

snake by the road, a
viper in the path that bites the horse’s heels so that its
rider tumbles backward.
Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will
rid you out of their
bondage, and I will
redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
Therefore tell the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians and deliver you from their
bondage. I will
redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.
Then
sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his
rider hath he thrown into the sea.

sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly
exalted. The horse and
rider He has thrown into the sea.
And
Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his
rider hath he thrown into the sea.
And
Miriam sang back to them: “Sing to the LORD, for He is highly
exalted; the horse and
rider He has thrown into the sea.”

reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean
riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any
gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.
When you
reap the harvest of your land, do not
reap all the way to the edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the foreign resident. I am the LORD your God.’”
And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the
similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
I speak with him face to face, clearly and not in
riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you unafraid to speak against My servant Moses?”
And they rose up early in the morning, and
gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have
sinned.
Early the next morning they got up and went up toward the
ridge of the hill country. “We have indeed
sinned,” they said, “but we will go to the place the LORD has promised.”
But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.
But they
dared to go up to the
ridge of the hill country, though neither Moses nor the ark of the covenant of the LORD moved from the camp.
And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall
blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they
murmur against you.

sprout, and I will
rid Myself of the constant
grumbling of the Israelites against you.”

kindled because
Balaam was going along, and the angel of the LORD stood in the road to

ass said unto
Balaam, Am not I thine
ass, upon which thou hast
ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever
wont to do so unto thee? And he said,
Nay.
But the
donkey said to
Balaam, “Am I not the
donkey you have
ridden all your life until
today? Have I ever treated you this way before?” “No,” he replied.

horror,
scorn, and
ridicule among all the nations to which the LORD will drive you.
He made him
ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to
suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the
flinty rock;
He made him
ride on the heights of the land and fed him the produce of the field. He
nourished him with honey from the rock and oil from the
flinty crag,
There is none like unto the God of
Jeshurun, who
rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his
excellency on the sky.
“There is none like the God of
Jeshurun, who
rides the heavens to your aid, and the clouds in His majesty.
Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and
incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.
“Now, therefore,” he said, “get
rid of the foreign gods among you and
incline your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel.”
Speak, ye that
ride on white
asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
Then said Zebul unto him, Where is now thy mouth,
wherewith thou saidst, Who is
Abimelech, that we should serve him? is not this the people that thou hast
despised? go out, I pray now, and fight with them.
“Where is your
gloating now?” Zebul replied. “You said, ‘Who is
Abimelech that we should serve him?’ Are these not the people you
ridiculed? Go out now and fight them!”
And
Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a
riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:
“Let me tell you a
riddle,”
Samson said to them. “If you can
solve it for me within the seven days of the feast, I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty sets of clothes.
But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy
riddle, that we may hear it.
But if you cannot
solve it, you must give me thirty linen garments and thirty sets of clothes.” “Tell us your
riddle,” they replied. “Let us hear it.”
And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days
expound the
riddle.

riddle.
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto
Samson’s wife,
Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the
riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
So on the fourth day they said to
Samson’s wife, “
Entice your husband to explain the
riddle to us, or we will burn you and your father’s household to death. Did you
invite us here to
rob us?”
And
Samson’s wife
wept before him, and said, Thou
dost but
hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a
riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
Then
Samson’s wife came to him,
weeping, and said, “You
hate me! You do not really love me! You have
posed to my people a
riddle, but have not explained it to me.” “Look,” he said, “I have not even explained it to my father or mother, so why should I explain it to you?”
And she
wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay
sore upon him: and she told the
riddle to the children of her people.

wept the whole seven days of the feast, and finally on the seventh day, because she had pressed him so much, he told her the answer. And in turn she explained the
riddle to her people.
And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not
plowed with my
heifer, ye had not found out my
riddle.
Before
sunset on the seventh day, the men of the city said to
Samson: “What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” So he said to them: “If you had not
plowed with my
heifer, you would not have
solved my
riddle!”
And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and
slew thirty men of them, and took their
spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which
expounded the
riddle. And his anger was
kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
Then the Spirit of the LORD came
mightily upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, killed thirty of their men, took their
apparel, and gave their clothes to those who had
solved the
riddle. And burning with anger,
Samson returned to his father’s house,
And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and
Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
Then Samuel said to all the house of Israel, “If you are returning to the LORD with all your hearts, then
rid yourselves of the foreign gods and Ashtoreths among you, prepare your hearts for the LORD, and serve Him only. And He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.”
And it was so, as she
rode on the
ass, that she came down by the
covert of the hill, and, behold, David and his men came down against her; and she met them.
As
Abigail came
riding her
donkey into a mountain
ravine, she saw David and his men coming down toward her, and she met them.
And David
smote them from the
twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which
rode upon camels, and fled.
And David struck them down from
twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man escaped, except four hundred young men who fled,
riding off on camels.
And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The
asses be for the king’s household to
ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as be
faint in the wilderness may drink.
“Why do you have these?” asked the king. Ziba replied, “The
donkeys are for the king’s household to
ride, the bread and summer fruit are for the young men to eat, and the wine is to refresh those who become exhausted in the wilderness.”
And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill’s side over against him, and
cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.

yelled curses, threw stones, and
flung dust at David.
And
Absalom met the servants of David. And
Absalom rode upon a
mule, and the
mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the
mule that was under him went away.
Now
Absalom was
riding on his
mule when he met the servants of David, and as the
mule went under the thick branches of a large oak,
Absalom’s head was caught fast in the tree. The
mule under him kept going, so that he was suspended in midair.
And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant
deceived me: for thy servant said, I will
saddle me an
ass, that I may
ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant is
lame.
“My lord the king,” he replied, “because I am
lame, I said, ‘I will have my
donkey saddled so that I may
ride on it and go with the king.’ But my servant Ziba
deceived me,
The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to
ride upon mine own
mule, and bring him down to
Gihon:
“Take my servants with you,” said the king. “Set my son Solomon on my own
mule and take him down to
Gihon.
So
Zadok the priest, and
Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to
ride upon king David’s
mule, and brought him to
Gihon.
Then
Zadok the priest,
Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah son of Jehoiada, along with the Cherethites and Pelethites, went down and set Solomon on King David’s
mule, and they
escorted him to
Gihon.
And the king hath sent with him
Zadok the priest, and
Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and they have caused him to
ride upon the king’s
mule:
And with Solomon, the king has sent
Zadok the priest,
Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah son of Jehoiada, along with the Cherethites and Pelethites, and they have set him on the king’s
mule.
Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have
hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a
proverb and a
byword among all people:
then I will cut off Israel from the land that I have given them, and I will
banish from My presence this temple I have
sanctified for My Name. Then Israel will become an object of
scorn and
ridicule among all peoples.
Then she
saddled an
ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward;
slack not thy
riding for me, except I
bid thee.
And there stood a
watchman on the tower in
Jezreel, and he
spied the company of
Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And
Joram said, Take an
horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?
Now the
watchman standing on the tower in
Jezreel saw
Jehu’s troops approaching, and he called out, “I see a company of troops!” “Choose a
rider,”
Joram commanded. “Send him out to meet them and ask, ‘Have you come in peace?’”
Then said
Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of
Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou
rode together after
Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him;
And
Jehu said to Bidkar his officer, “
Pick him up and throw him into the field of
Naboth the Jezreelite. For remember that when you and I were
riding together behind his father
Ahab, the LORD lifted up this burden against him:
And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him
ride in his
chariot.
saying, “Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD!” So he had him
ride in his
chariot.
Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
Now, therefore, make a
bargain with my master, the king of Assyria. I will give you two thousand horses—if you can put
riders on them!
Then will I
pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have
sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a
proverb and a
byword among all nations.
then I will
uproot Israel from the soil I have given them, and I will
banish from My presence this temple I have
sanctified for My Name. I will make it an object of
scorn and
ridicule among all the peoples.
And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I
rode upon.
I set out at night with a few men. I did not tell
anyone what my God had laid on my heart to do for Jerusalem. The only animal with me was the one on which I was
riding.
But when
Sanballat the Horonite,
Tobiah the
Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard about this, they
mocked us and
ridiculed us, saying, “What is this you are doing? Are you rebelling against the king?”
Let the royal
apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king
rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:
have them bring a royal
robe that the king himself has worn and a horse on which the king himself has
ridden—one with a royal crest placed on its head.
And he wrote in the king
Ahasuerus’ name, and sealed it with the king’s ring, and sent letters by posts on
horseback, and
riders on mules, camels, and young
dromedaries:
Mordecai wrote in the name of King
Xerxes and sealed it with the royal
signet ring. He sent the documents by mounted couriers
riding on swift horses
bred from the royal mares.
But the other Jews that were in the king’s provinces gathered themselves together, and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and
slew of their foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey,
The rest of the Jews in the royal provinces also assembled to defend themselves and
rid themselves of their enemies. They killed 75,000 who
hated them, but they did not lay a hand on the
plunder.
Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to
ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.
You
snatch me up into the wind and drive me before it; You
toss me about in the storm.
What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.
Yet when she proudly spreads her wings, she laughs at the horse and its rider.
And in thy majesty
ride prosperously because of truth and
meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
I will
incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the
harp.
Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
You
soak its furrows and level its
ridges; You
soften it with showers and
bless its growth.
Thou hast caused men to
ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
You let men
ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but You brought us into abundance.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that
rideth upon the heavens by his name
JAH, and
rejoice before him.
Sing to God! Sing praises to His name.
Exalt Him who
rides on the clouds— His name is the LORD— and
rejoice before Him.
To him that
rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he
doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.
to Him who rides upon the highest heavens of old; behold, His mighty voice resounds.
At thy
rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the
chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
At Your
rebuke, O God of Jacob, both horse and
rider lie
stunned.
Deliver the poor and
needy:
rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
Rescue the weak and
needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.
Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are
mad against me are
sworn against me.
Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
Reach down from on high; set me free and
rescue me from the deep waters, from the
grasp of foreigners,
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of
falsehood:
To understand a
proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
by understanding the
proverbs and parables, the sayings and
riddles of the wise.
The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD
rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall
melt in the midst of it.
This is the burden against Egypt: Behold, the LORD
rides on a swift cloud; He is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will
tremble before Him, and the hearts of the Egyptians will
melt within them.
And, behold, here cometh a
chariot of men, with a couple of
horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the
graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
Look, here come the
riders,
horsemen in pairs.” And one answered, saying: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon! All the images of her gods lie
shattered on the ground!”
Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Get out of the way; turn off the road. Rid us of the Holy One of Israel!”
But ye said, No; for we will
flee upon horses; therefore shall ye
flee: and, We will
ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
“No,” you say, “we will
flee on horses.” Therefore you will
flee! “We will
ride swift horses,” but your pursuers will be faster.
Now therefore give pledges, I pray thee, to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
Now, therefore, make a
bargain with my master, the king of Assyria. I will give you two thousand horses—if you can put
riders on them!
Then shalt thou delight
thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to
ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the
heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
then you will delight
yourself in the LORD, and I will make you
ride on the heights of the land and feed you with the
heritage of your father Jacob.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
They shall lay hold on bow and
spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they
ride upon horses, set in
array as men for war against thee, O daughter of
Zion.
They
grasp the bow and
spear; they are cruel and
merciless. Their voice roars like the sea, and they
ride upon horses, lined up like men in formation against you, O Daughter of
Zion.”
Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David,
riding in
chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.
then kings and princes will enter through the gates of this city. They will sit on the throne of David,
riding in
chariots and on horses with their officials, along with the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited
forever.
For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David,
riding in
chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
For if you will indeed carry out these commands, then kings who sit on David’s throne will enter through the gates of this palace
riding on
chariots and horses—they and their officials and their people.
And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their
hurt, to be a reproach and a
proverb, a
taunt and a
curse, in all places
whither I shall drive them.
Micah the Morasthite
prophesied in the days of
Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts;
Zion shall be
plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.
“
Micah the Moreshite
prophesied in the days of
Hezekiah king of Judah and told all the people of Judah that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘
Zion will be
plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a
heap of
rubble, and the temple mount a wooded
ridge.’
For was not Israel a
derision unto thee? was he found among
thieves? for since thou spakest of him, thou skippedst for joy.
Was not Israel your object of
ridicule? Was he ever found among
thieves? For whenever you speak of him you
shake your head.
They shall
howl, saying, How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a
derision and a dismaying to all them about him.
“How
shattered it is! How they
wail! How Moab has turned his back in shame! Moab has become an object of
ridicule and
horror to all those around him.”
They shall hold the bow and the
lance: they are cruel, and will not
shew mercy: their voice shall
roar like the sea, and they shall
ride upon horses, every one put in
array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
They
grasp the bow and
spear; they are cruel and
merciless. Their voice roars like the sea, and they
ride upon horses, lined up like men in formation against you, O Daughter of Babylon.
And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his
rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the
chariot and his
rider;
Son of man, put forth a
riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;
“Son of man,
pose a
riddle; speak a parable to the house of Israel
Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men,
horsemen riding upon horses.
clothed in blue, governors and commanders, all desirable young men,
horsemen mounted on steeds.
She
doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most
gorgeously,
horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.
She too
lusted after the Assyrians—governors and commanders, warriors dressed in
splendor,
horsemen riding on steeds, all desirable young men.
The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and
renowned, all of them
riding upon horses.
the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod, Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them—all desirable young men, governors and commanders, officers and men of
renown, mounted on horses.
Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for
chariots.
Dedan was your merchant in saddlecloths for riding.
And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
I will make with them a covenant of peace and rid the land of wild animals, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.
And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
And you will come from your place out of the far north—you and many peoples with you, all
riding horses—a mighty
horde, a huge army.
Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and
chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
And at My table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, of mighty men and warriors of every kind,’ declares the Lord GOD.
Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding,
interpreting of dreams, and
shewing of hard sentences, and
dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will
shew the interpretation.
did this because Daniel, the one he named Belteshazzar, was found to have an extraordinary spirit, as well as knowledge, understanding, and the ability to
interpret dreams, explain
riddles, and
solve difficult problems.
Summon Daniel, therefore, and he will give you the interpretation.”
They return, but not to the most High: they are like a
deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the
rage of their tongue: this shall be their
derision in the land of Egypt.
They turn, but not to the Most High; they are like a
faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword for the
cursing of their tongue; for this they will be
ridiculed in the land of Egypt.
And Ephraim is as an
heifer that is taught, and loveth to
tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to
ride; Judah shall
plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
Ephraim is a well-trained
heifer that loves to
thresh; but I will place a yoke on her fair neck. I will
harness Ephraim, Judah will
plow, and Jacob will break the hard ground.
Asshur shall not save us; we will not
ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
Assyria will not save us, nor will we
ride on horses. We will never again say, ‘Our gods!’ to the work of our own hands. For in You the fatherless find
compassion.”
Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.
The archer will not stand his ground, the fleet of foot will not escape, and the

Therefore shall
Zion for your sake be
plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
Therefore, because of you,
Zion will be
plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a
heap of
rubble, and the temple mount a wooded
ridge.
Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou
didst ride upon thine horses and thy
chariots of salvation?
Were You
angry at the rivers, O LORD? Was Your wrath against the streams? Did You
rage against the sea when You
rode on Your horses, on Your
chariots of salvation?
Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be
devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a
speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them on the Day of the LORD’s wrath. The whole earth will be consumed by the fire of His jealousy.” For indeed, He will make a sudden end of all who dwell on the earth.
