And he brought the
bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and
his sons laid their hands upon the head of the
bullock for the sin offering.
Moses then brought the bull near for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
And he
slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with
his finger, and
purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and
sanctified it, to make
reconciliation upon it.
Moses slaughtered the bull, took some of the blood, and applied it with
his finger to all four horns of the altar,
purifying the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it so that
atonement could be made on it.
But the
bullock, and
his hide,
his flesh, and
his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.
But the bull with its hide, flesh, and dung he burned outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded him.
And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
Then Moses presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
And he brought the other ram, the ram of
consecration: and Aaron and
his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
After that, Moses presented the other ram, the ram of
ordination, and Aaron and
his sons laid their hands on its head.
And he
slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the
tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the
thumb of
his right hand, and upon the great
toe of
his right foot.
Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood and put it on Aaron’s right earlobe, on the
thumb of
his right hand, and on the
big toe of
his right foot.
And he put all upon Aaron’s hands, and upon his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD.
He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and waved them before the LORD as a wave offering.
And Moses took of the
anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and
sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon
his garments, and upon
his sons, and upon
his sons’ garments with him; and
sanctified Aaron, and
his garments, and
his sons, and
his sons’ garments with him.
Next, Moses took some of the
anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and
sprinkled them on Aaron and
his garments, and on
his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and
his garments, as well as Aaron’s sons and their garments.
And Moses said unto Aaron and to
his sons,
Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the
basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and
his sons shall eat it.
And Moses said to Aaron and
his sons, “
Boil the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and eat it there with the bread that is in the
basket of
ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and
his sons are to eat it.’
So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD had commanded through Moses.
And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel.
And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he
dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:
The sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he
dipped his finger in the blood and applied it to the horns of the altar. And he poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
And he
slew the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he
sprinkled round about upon the altar.
Then Aaron slaughtered the burnt offering.
His sons brought him the blood, and he
sprinkled it on all sides of the altar.
He
slew also the
bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he
sprinkled upon the altar round about,
Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram as the people’s peace offering.
His sons brought him the blood, and he
sprinkled it on all sides of the altar.
And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

his hands toward the people and blessed them. And having made the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering, he
stepped down.
And
Nadab and
Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them
his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense
thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
Now Aaron’s sons
Nadab and
Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense, and offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to
His command.
Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be
sanctified in them that come
nigh me, and before all the people I will be
glorified. And Aaron held
his peace.
Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD meant when He said: ‘To those who come near Me I will show My
holiness, and in the sight of all the people I will
reveal My glory.’” But Aaron remained silent.
And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto
Eleazar and unto
Ithamar,
his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither
rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel,
bewail the burning which the LORD hath
kindled.
Then Moses said to Aaron and
his sons
Eleazar and
Ithamar, “Do not let your hair become
disheveled and do not
tear your garments, or else you will die, and the LORD will be
angry with the whole congregation. But your brothers, the whole house of Israel, may
mourn on account of the fire that the LORD has
ignited.
And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto
Eleazar and unto
Ithamar,
his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without
leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy:
And Moses said to Aaron and
his remaining sons,
Eleazar and
Ithamar, “Take the grain offering that remains from the offerings made by fire to the LORD and eat it without
leaven beside the altar, because it is most holy.
Every

And the

his kind,
And
whosoever beareth ought of the
carcase of them shall wash
his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
and
whoever picks up one of their
carcasses must wash
his clothes, and he will be unclean until evening.
And
whatsoever goeth upon
his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you:
whoso toucheth their
carcase shall be unclean until the even.
All the four-footed animals that walk on their paws are unclean for you;
whoever touches their
carcasses will be unclean until evening,
And he that beareth the
carcase of them shall wash
his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
and
anyone who picks up a
carcass must wash
his clothes, and he will be unclean until evening. They are unclean for you.
The following creatures that move along the ground are unclean for you: the
mole, the
mouse, any kind of great
lizard,
And he that eateth of the
carcase of it shall wash
his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the
carcase of it shall wash
his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever eats from the

his clothes and will be unclean until evening, and
anyone who picks up the
carcass must wash
his clothes and will be unclean until evening.
When a man shall have in the skin of
his flesh a rising, a
scab, or a bright spot, and it be in the skin of
his flesh like the plague of
leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of
his sons the priests:
“When someone has a swelling or
rash or bright spot on
his skin that could become an
infectious skin disease, he must be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of
his sons who is a priest.
And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of
his flesh, it is a plague of
leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and
pronounce him unclean.
The priest is to examine the
infection on
his skin, and if the hair in the
infection has turned white and the
sore appears to be deeper than the skin, it is a skin disease. After the priest examines him, he must
pronounce him unclean.
If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
If, however, the spot on
his skin is white and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest shall
isolate the
infected person for seven days.
And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
On the seventh day the priest is to reexamine him, and if he sees that the
infection is unchanged and has not spread on the skin, the priest must
isolate him for another seven days.
And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall
pronounce him clean: it is but a
scab: and he shall wash
his clothes, and be clean.
The priest will examine him again on the seventh day, and if the
sore has
faded and has not spread on the skin, the priest shall
pronounce him clean; it is a
rash. The person must wash
his clothes and be clean.
But if the
scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for
his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again:
But if the
rash spreads further on
his skin after he has shown himself to the priest for
his cleansing, he must present himself again to the priest.
It is an old
leprosy in the skin of
his flesh, and the priest shall
pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
it is a
chronic skin disease and the priest must
pronounce him unclean. He need not
isolate him, for he is unclean.
And if a
leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the
leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from
his head even to
his foot,
wheresoever the priest looketh;
But if the skin disease breaks out all over
his skin so that it covers all the skin of the
infected person from head to foot, as far as the priest can see,
Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the
leprosy have covered all
his flesh, he shall
pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
the priest shall examine him, and if the disease has covered
his entire body, he is to
pronounce the
infected person clean. Since it has all turned white, he is clean.
But if the bright spot stay in
his place, and spread not, it is a burning
boil; and the priest shall
pronounce him clean.
But if the spot remains unchanged and does not spread, it is only the
scar from the
boil, and the priest shall
pronounce him clean.
And if the bright spot stay in
his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall
pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.
But if the spot is unchanged and has not spread on the skin but has
faded, it is a swelling from the burn, and the priest is to
pronounce him clean; for it is only the
scar from the burn.
And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the
scall: and, behold, if the
scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall
pronounce him clean: and he shall wash
his clothes, and be clean.
On the seventh day the priest shall examine the
scaly outbreak, and if it has not spread on the skin and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, the priest is to
pronounce him clean. He must wash
his clothes, and he will be clean.
If, however, the
scaly outbreak spreads further on the skin after
his cleansing,
But if the
scall be in
his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the
scall is
healed, he is clean: and the priest shall
pronounce him clean.
If, however, in
his sight the
scaly outbreak is unchanged and black hair has grown in it, then it has
healed. He is clean, and the priest is to
pronounce him clean.
And the man whose hair is fallen off
his head, he is
bald; yet is he clean.
Now if a man loses
his hair and is
bald, he is still clean.
And he that hath
his hair fallen off from the part of
his head toward
his face, he is
forehead bald: yet is he clean.
Or if
his hairline recedes and he is
bald on
his forehead, he is still clean.
Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the
sore be white reddish in
his bald head, or in
his bald forehead, as the
leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
The priest is to examine him, and if the swelling of the
infection on
his bald head or
forehead is reddish-white like a skin disease,
He is a
leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall
pronounce him utterly unclean;
his plague is in
his head.
the man is diseased; he is unclean. The priest must
pronounce him unclean because of the
infection on
his head.
And the
leper in whom the plague is,
his clothes shall be rent, and
his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon
his upper
lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
A diseased person must wear
torn clothes and let
his hair
hang loose, and he must cover
his mouth and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean!’
All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be
defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall
his habitation be.
As long as he has the
infection, he remains unclean. He must live alone in a place outside the camp.
And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed
his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is
fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.
After it has been washed, the priest is to reexamine it, and if the
mildewed article has not changed in appearance, it is unclean. Even though the
mildew has not spread, you must burn it, whether the
rot is on the front or back.
This shall be the law of the
leper in the day of
his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
“This is the law for the one
afflicted with a skin disease on the day of
his cleansing, when he is brought to the priest.
And he that is to be
cleansed shall wash
his clothes, and
shave off all
his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall
tarry abroad out of
his tent seven days.
The one being
cleansed must wash
his clothes,
shave off all
his hair, and
bathe with water; then he will be
ceremonially clean. Afterward, he may enter the camp, but he must remain outside
his tent for seven days.
But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall
shave all
his hair off
his head and
his beard and
his eyebrows, even all
his hair he shall
shave off: and he shall wash
his clothes, also he shall wash
his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
On the seventh day he must
shave off all
his hair—
his head,
his beard,
his eyebrows, and the rest of
his hair. He must wash
his clothes and
bathe himself with water, and he will be clean.
And the priest shall take some of the blood of the
trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the
tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the
thumb of
his right hand, and upon the great
toe of
his right foot:
The priest is to take some of the blood from the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be
cleansed, on the
thumb of
his right hand, and on the
big toe of
his right foot.
And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:
Then the priest shall take some of the log of olive oil, pour it into his left palm,
And the priest shall dip
his right finger in the oil that is in
his left hand, and shall
sprinkle of the oil with
his finger seven times before the LORD:
dip
his right
forefinger into the oil in
his left palm, and
sprinkle some of the oil with
his finger seven times before the LORD.
And of the rest of the oil that is in
his hand shall the priest put upon the
tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the
thumb of
his right hand, and upon the great
toe of
his right foot, upon the blood of the
trespass offering:
And the priest is to put some of the oil remaining in
his palm on the right earlobe of the one to be
cleansed, on the
thumb of
his right hand, and on the
big toe of
his right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering.
And the
remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be
cleansed: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD.
The rest of the oil in
his palm, the priest is to put on the head of the one to be
cleansed, to make
atonement for him before the LORD.
And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an
atonement for him that is to be
cleansed from
his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:
Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make
atonement for the one to be
cleansed from
his uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering
And he shall bring them on the eighth day for
his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.
On the eighth day he is to bring them for
his cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD.
And he shall kill the lamb of the
trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the
trespass offering, and put it upon the
tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the
thumb of
his right hand, and upon the great
toe of
his right foot:
And after he slaughters the lamb for the guilt offering, the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be
cleansed, on the
thumb of
his right hand, and on the
big toe of
his right foot.
And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:
Then the priest is to pour some of the oil into his left palm
And the priest shall
sprinkle with
his right finger some of the oil that is in
his left hand seven times before the LORD:
and
sprinkle with
his right
forefinger some of the oil in
his left palm seven times before the LORD.
And the priest shall put of the oil that is in
his hand upon the
tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the
thumb of
his right hand, and upon the great
toe of
his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the
trespass offering:
The priest shall also put some of the oil in
his palm on the right earlobe of the one to be
cleansed, on the
thumb of
his right hand, and on the
big toe of
his right foot—on the same places as the blood of the guilt offering.
And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be
cleansed, to make an
atonement for him before the LORD.
The rest of the oil in
his palm, the priest is to put on the head of the one to be
cleansed, to make
atonement for him before the LORD.
This is the law of him in whom is the plague of
leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to
his cleansing.
This is the law for someone who has a skin disease and cannot afford the cost of
his cleansing.”
And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.
And
anyone who sleeps in the house or eats in it must wash
his clothes.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
“Say to the Israelites, ‘When any man has a bodily discharge, the discharge is unclean.
And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
This uncleanness is from his discharge, whether his body allows the discharge to flow or blocks it. So his discharge will bring about uncleanness.
And
whosoever toucheth
his bed shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Anyone who touches
his bed must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And he that sitteth on any thing
whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever sits on furniture on which the man with the discharge was sitting must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever touches the body of the man with a discharge must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And if he that hath the issue
spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, that person must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And
whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and
whoever carries such things must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And
whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not
rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If the man with the discharge touches
anyone without first
rinsing his hands with water, the one who was touched must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And when he that hath an issue is
cleansed of
his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for
his cleansing, and wash
his clothes, and
bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
When the man has been
cleansed from
his discharge, he must count off seven days for
his cleansing, wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in fresh water, and he shall be clean.
And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD for
his issue.
The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for the man before the LORD because of
his discharge.
And if any man’s seed of
copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all
his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
and
anyone who touches her bed must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And
whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever touches any furniture on which she was sitting must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And
whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Anyone who touches these things will be unclean; he must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen
breeches upon
his flesh, and shall be
girded with a linen
girdle, and with the linen
mitre shall he be
attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash
his flesh in water, and so put them on.
He is to wear the sacred linen
tunic, with linen undergarments. He must
tie a linen
sash around him and put on the linen
turban. These are holy garments, and he must
bathe himself with water before he wears them.
And Aaron shall offer
his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an
atonement for himself, and for
his house.
Aaron is to present the bull for
his sin offering and make
atonement for himself and
his household.
And Aaron shall bring the
bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an
atonement for himself, and for
his house, and shall kill the
bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:
When Aaron presents the bull for
his sin offering and makes
atonement for himself and
his household, he is to slaughter the bull for
his own sin offering.
And he shall take a
censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and
his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the
vail:
Then he must take a
censer full of burning coals from the altar before the LORD, and two handfuls of finely ground
fragrant incense, and take them inside the
veil.
And he shall take of the blood of the
bullock, and
sprinkle it with
his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he
sprinkle of the blood with
his finger seven times.
And he is to take some of the bull’s blood and
sprinkle it with
his finger on the east side of the mercy seat; then he shall
sprinkle some of it with
his finger seven times before the mercy seat.
Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring
his blood within the
vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the
bullock, and
sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
Aaron shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and bring its blood behind the
veil, and with its blood he must do as he did with the bull’s blood: He is to
sprinkle it against the mercy seat and in front of it.
And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an
atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an
atonement for himself, and for
his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
No one may be in the Tent of Meeting from the time Aaron goes in to make
atonement in the Most Holy Place until he leaves, after he has made
atonement for himself,
his household, and the whole assembly of Israel.
And he shall
sprinkle of the blood upon it with
his finger seven times, and
cleanse it, and
hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
He is to
sprinkle some of the blood on it with
his finger seven times to
cleanse it and
consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites.
And Aaron shall lay both
his hands upon the head of the live goat, and
confess over him all the
iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
Then he is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and
confess over it all the
iniquities and
rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to put them on the goat’s head and send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a man appointed for the task.
And he shall wash
his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on
his garments, and come forth, and offer
his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an
atonement for himself, and for the people.
He is to
bathe himself with water in a holy place and put on
his own clothes. Then he must go out and sacrifice
his burnt offering and the people’s burnt offering to make
atonement for himself and for the people.
And he that let go the goat for the
scapegoat shall wash
his clothes, and
bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.

his clothes and
bathe himself with water; afterward he may reenter the camp.

his clothes, and
bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

his clothes and
bathe himself with water, and afterward he may reenter the camp.

anoint, and whom he shall
consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in
his father’s
stead, shall make the
atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
The priest who is
anointed and ordained to succeed
his father as high priest shall make
atonement. He will put on the sacred linen garments
Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,
“Speak to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites and tell them this is what the LORD has commanded:
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD before
His tabernacle—that man shall
incur bloodguilt. He has shed blood and must be cut off from among
his people.
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
but does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD, that man must be cut off from his people.
And
whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that
sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among
his people.
If
anyone from the house of Israel or a foreigner living among them eats any blood, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from among
his people.
And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was
torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash
his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
And any person, whether native or foreigner, who eats anything found dead or
mauled by wild beasts must wash
his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening; then he will be clean.
